GREEN METALLIC NANOPARTICLES: BIOSYNTHESIS TO
APPLICATIONS
Dr. G. Puthilibai
Professor, Department of Chemistry, Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai-
44, Tamil Nadu, India
Abstract
Current advancements in nanotechnology and nanoscience have resulted in new nanomaterials,
which may pose health and environmental risks. In recent studies, it has been proven that
microorganisms and plants may be used to synthesize nanoparticles in a way that is both
ecologically friendly and safe to use. Furthermore, several researchers are working to optimize
ecologically friendly procedures for creating metal and metal oxide nanoparticles. The primary
goal is to decrease the adverse effects of synthetic processes, their accompanying chemicals,
and the resulting complexes. Utilizing various biomaterials for nanoparticle preparation is a
beneficial approach in green nanotechnology. Furthermore, using the biological qualities of
nature through a variety of activities is an excellent way to achieve this goal. Algae, plants,
bacteria, and fungus have been employed to make energy-efficient, low-cost, and nontoxic
metallic nanoparticles in the last few decades. Despite the environmental advantages of using
green chemistry-based biological synthesis over traditional methods as discussed in this article,
there are some unresolved issues such as particle size and shape consistency, reproducibility of
the synthesis process, and understanding of the mechanisms involved in producing metallic
nanoparticles via biological entities. Consequently, there is a need for further research to
analyze and comprehend the real biological synthesis-dependent processes. This is currently
an untapped hot research topic that required more investment to properly leverage the green
manufacturing of metallic nanoparticles through living entities. The review covers such green
methods of synthesizing nanoparticles and their utilization in the scientific world.
Keywords: metallic nanoparticles, green synthesis, eco-friendly, sustainable application.

TIME TO FOCUS SOCIETAL BASED RESEARCH
Dr.N.Vijayan
Senior Principal Scientist
CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, Dr KS Krishnan Marg, New Delhi – 110 012.
Abstract
In our pursuit of progress and innovation, it has become increasingly evident that focusing
solely on conventional basic research in various scientific fields is no longer sufficient to
address the complex and interconnected challenges faced by society. This paper advocates for
a shift in research paradigms towards societal-based research, highlighting the urgent need to
direct our efforts towards solving the myriad problems that afflict our communities and planet.
While basic research has undoubtedly been instrumental in advancing knowledge and
technology, the current global landscape necessitates a more inclusive approach. Societal-
based research offers a holistic perspective, integrating the principles of sustainability, social
responsibility, and ethics into scientific investigations. This approach strives to provide
practical solutions that improve the quality of life and promote sustainable development. One
of the critical areas of focus in societal research involves waste-to-wealth initiatives. By
transforming waste materials into valuable resources, we can address environmental concerns,
contribute to a circular economy, and alleviate resource scarcity. Additionally, research in
energy conservation is paramount to mitigate climate change and ensure a sustainable energy
future. Societal research emphasizes the development of energy-efficient technologies and
practices to minimize energy consumption and reduce our ecological footprint. Metrological
research, another vital aspect of societal-based research, offers valuable insights into climate
patterns and extreme weather events. By understanding and predicting meteorological
phenomena, we can develop proactive measures to mitigate their impacts on society. Moreover,
incorporating meteorological traceability into various products ensures reliability, safety, and
adherence to the highest standards. Furthermore, the focus of societal research extends to the
creation of affordable products that cater to diverse socio-economic strata. Bridging the gap
between innovation and accessibility, this research aims to democratize the benefits of
technological advancements, making them attainable and beneficial for all members of society.
It is imperative that researchers and stakeholders collaborate to prioritize and invest in research
that directly impacts society, leading us towards a better and more prosperous world.

GLOBAL ENERGY NEEDS AND HYDROGEN PATH
Dr.P.Kamaraj
Dean [Science and Humanities]
Department of Chemistry, Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research,
Chennai-600073, India
Abstract
When natural gas is burnt, it provides heat energy. But a waste product produced along
with water is carbon dioxide, which when released into the atmosphere contributes to
climate change. Burning hydrogen does not release carbon dioxide. The innovative
design of sustainable noble-metal-free heterojunctions remains a key challenge for
highly efficient and durable photo catalytic H2 production. In this study, it has been
revealed that the CZTS (Cu2 ZnSnS4 ) nanoparticles may serve as a catalyst and a p-
type semiconductor at the low (1.5 wt. %) and high (10 wt. %) loading contents,
respectively. Both CZTS cocatalyst and semiconductor could evidently boost the
visible-light-driven photo catalytic H2 production over the CeO2.The heterojunction
effects between p-type CZTS and n-type CeO2 are speculated to play a more prominent
role in dramatically boosting the photo catalytic H2 production than the electron-sink
roles of surface CZTS cocatalysts. Impressively, among all the as-fabricated photo
catalysts, the high quality 10 wt% CZTS could achieve the highest photo catalytic H2 -
production rate of 2930 µmol g-1h-1, which is approximately 59 times higher than that
of pristine CeO2 . In cycling experiments, CeO2 -10 wt% CZTS exhibited an acceptable
photostability. More importantly, it was further demonstrated that the earth-abundant
dual-functional CZTS nanoparticles could markedly facilitate the separation of
electron-hole pairs and H2 -evolution kinetics, thus achieving the distinctly boosted
photocatalytic H2 generation. This work will provide new insights into the rationally
designing environment-friendly CeO2 -based hybrid nano hetero junctions for visible-
light-responsive photocatalytic H2 generation through loading of the noble-metal-free
bifunctional cocatalysts or semiconductors. Hydrogen can be used to power vehicles,
generate electricity, power industry and heat our homes. It could make a huge difference
on our carbon emissions.

STABILITY OF FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH
TWO CAPUTO DERIVATIVE USING FRACTIONAL FOURIER
TRANSFORM
Dr.V.Govindan
Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, Hindustan Institute of
Technology and Science, Chennai
Abstract
In this paper we have discussed standard approaches to the Hyers-Ulam-Mittag-
Leffler problem of fractional derivatives and nonlinear fractional integrals
(simply called nonlinear fractional differential equation), namely two Caputo
fractional derivatives using a fractional Fourier transform. We prove the basic
properties of derivatives including the rules for their properties and the conditions
for the equivalence of various definitions. Further, we give a brief basic Hyers-
Ulam-Mittag-Leffler problem method for the solving of linear fractional
differential equations using fractional Fourier transform and mention the limits
of their usability. In particular, we formulate the theorem describing the structure
of the Hyers-Ulam-Mittag-Leffler problem for linear two-term equations. In
particular, we derive the two Caputo fractional derivative step response functions
of those generalized systems. Finally, we consider some physical examples, in
the particular fractional differential equation and the fractional Fourier transform.
Keywords: Fractional Fourier Transform, Two Caputo Derivative

Successful Strategies for Organic Reactions by Overcoming Immiscibility
P. A. Vivekanand
Centre for Catalysis Research and Department of Chemistry, Saveetha Engineering College
,Chennai-602105
Abstract
The development of new synthetic methods that are more environmentally benign has been
propelled by the growing importance of green chemistry in organic synthesis. In view of the
increasing environmental and economical concerns in recent years, it is now essential for
chemists to find as many environmentally benign catalytic reactions as possible. Generally,
the reactants are immiscible in nature. If one applies a protic solvent in a severe condition for
a reaction, the conversion can be enhanced but generally this is accompanied by some
unfavorable side-reactions As a consequence these techniques are industrially unattractive,
constrained and polluting.
A plausible technique now widely known as ‘‘phase transfer catalysis’’ (PTC) was developed
for overcoming the encounter conundrum due to the mutual insolubility of aqueous phase with
organic phase. In this key green approach, the chemical reactants residing in immiscible phases,
phase transfer catalysts, have the ability to carry one of the reactants as a highly active species,
by penetrating the interface, into the other phase where the reaction takes place. The primary
advantages of using phase transfer catalysis are to obtain a large conversion, high reaction rate
and good selectivity at moderate reaction conditions. Nowadays, PTC becomes an important
choice in organic synthesis and is widely applied in the manufacturing processes of specialty
chemicals, such as pharmaceuticals, dyes, perfumes, additives for lubricants, pesticides, and
monomers for polymer synthesis. The PTC methodology is one of the most versatile and
commonly utilized reactions for the construction of carbon–carbon bonds As the use grew,
much effort was placed on the development of phase transfer catalysts with higher catalytic
efficiency. To this end, ‘‘multi-site’’ phase transfer catalysts (MPTC) have been developed.
Currently, ingenious new analytical and process experimental techniques which are
environmentally benign techniques viz., ultrasound and microwave irradiation have become
immensely popular in promoting various organic reactions. Ultrasound irradiation is a
transmission of a sound wave through a medium and is regarded as a form of energy for the
excitation of reactants consequently enhancing the rate of diffusion. Application of ultrasonic
waves in organic synthesis (homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions) has been boosted in
recent years. Sonification of multiphase systems accelerates the reaction by ensuring a better
contact between the different phases.

Abstract
In Ruskin Bond's selected works, the portrayal of voiceless characters assumes an Abstract role,
embodying multifaceted symbolism and thematic depth. These characters transcend their literal silence to
represent broader concepts, including societal marginalization, power dynamics, and personal agency.
Through a subaltern lens, their narratives serve as Abstract critiques of entrenched hierarchies, spotlighting
economic inequalities and social injustices. The dichotomy of voice and silence becomes an Abstract narrative
tool, underscoring shifts in characters' empowerment and external influences. Narrative gaps within these
characters' stories provide fertile ground for Abstract exploration, fostering reader engagement as they fill
interpretive voids. Ultimately, Bond utilizes the Abstraction of voicelessness to evoke empathy, resonate
emotionally, and prompt contemplation on identity, resilience, and the nuanced dynamics that underpin these
characters' experiences.
Keywords: Multifaceted symbolism, thematic depth, marginalization, subaltern studies, economic inequalities, social injustices,
narrative gaps

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the work of monitoring changes in the long-term and time analysis
of data on changes in the long-term water regime of the Amu Darya. Analyses of the hydrological and
hydrochemical regime of the Amu Darya over a long period were compared and the dynamics of the
mineralization of the Amu Darya water shown in the graphs were studied. The mineralization of the water of
the Amu Darya River within the Karakalpak Republic is described in stages and the analysis of the operation
of the water supply system.. Consider, as an example, the hydrometric posts of Tuyamuyun, Kipchak,
Samanbai and Kyzyljar were studied.. and in what months the water of the river was used for drinking and
economic purposes. In the last 42 years, a sharp increase in the content of total mineral salts in the waters was
analyzed, in which the amount of nitrate and the hardness of the water increased by a factor of more than the
previous one. According to the results of the analysis of the mechanism of these phenomena, appropriate
measures have been developed to improve water intake.
Abstract
To evaluate the marginal adaptation in class II composite restorations using different insertion
techniques under CLSM.Standardized class II MO cavities were prepared in extracted human upper premolars
with gingival margin 1mm occlusal to the cementoenamel junction. The prepared teeth were divided into two
groups of 40 teeth each and further subdivided into four subgroups of 10 teeth each. The samples were
subjected to etching followed by bonding and then Group I was restored with Conventional nanohybrid
composite resins and Group II was restored with Bulk-fill Nanohybrid high viscosity composite resins using
four different insertion techniques. The subgroups were: GP1- Horizontal insertion technique GP2- Vertical
insertion technique GP3- Oblique insertion technique and GP4- Bulk fill technique. Then the samples were
thermocycled and soaked in Rhodamine B dye for 48 hrs. followed by sectioning for the evaluation of
marginal adaptation along the tooth-restorative interface in the occlusal and gingival regions using CLSM.
Data collected was statistically analyzed using ANOVA followed by Post hoc Tukey HSD test.

Abstract
Graph burning is a process used to model the spreadof social contagion in a graph. For each graph the
burning number is determined by thequickness of the spread of fire obtained by burning the nodes. In this
paper, the relation between clustering of network graphswhile using the method of burning the graph is
demonstrated. Clustering of a network graph G is equivalent to burning a graph G. In this algorithm, initially
the clusters were assigned null. The node with highest degree is selected as activator. The nodes that are at
the distance of 1 with the node vj is used. The nodes of distance up tok − jfrom the node vj are grouped as a

Abstract
Language plays a major role in how we and others understand the world. Offensive language refers to
language that is disrespectful, derogatory, bad-mannered, insulting, or abusive. It is a language that is hurtful
and can cause harm to others or a particular group of people. The pervasiveness of offensive discourse across
social media platforms has inflicted adverse repercussions upon society, notably manifesting in the form of
escalated aggressive behavior within the digital realm. The presence of offensive speech on social media has
resulted in serious consequences for many individuals, even leading to death. Hence, natural language
processing using machine learning algorithms can be used to look into the text and make predictions. In this
research, machine learning and deep learning algorithms were used for identifications of offensive texts in
social media comments in Amharic Language. Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and SVM machine
learning algorithms were employed for the initial experiments after analyzing related literature and current
trends regarding recent offensive language detection approaches. On the other hand, CNN, RNN, GRU and
LSTM deep learning algorithms were also applied to develop an offensive language detection, removing stop
words and other irrelevant tokens. Pretrained word embedding feature extraction techniques such as word2vec
and fastText were applied to extract important features and to capture the nuances of Amharic textual data.
After several experiments in our studies, a combination of LSTM and fastText achieved the highest accuracy
of 72% in detecting offensive language in Amharic social media comments, outperforming other approaches
we tested.

Abstract
This research article describes the fabrication and characterization of a single crystal of urea-cobalt chloride
doped with L-Phenylalanine. The slow evaporation approach with controlled temperature conditions was
used to create a single crystal. L-Phenylalanine, an important amino acid, was used as a dopant to improve
the characteristics of the cobalt chloride crystal. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to analyze the optical
characteristics of the single crystal, indicating higher optical absorption in the visible region due to L-
Phenylalanine doping. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) confirms the various functional
groups present in the crystal. The crystalline nature and phase purity of the produced single crystal were
validated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, which showed the material's crystalline structure. SEM was
used to investigate the surface morphology and growth pattern. Furthermore, dielectric measurement was
carried out to examine the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the single crystal, revealing its suitability
in the manufacturing of optical materials. Finally, the L-Phenylalanine doped urea-cobalt chloride single
crystal outperformed the pure crystal in terms of optical absorption, and dielectric loss. These results offer
up new pathways for prospective applications in optoelectronics, photonic devices, and sensor technologies.

Medical image segmentation is the most crucial step in the process of identifying and visualizing the
structure of interest in medical pictures. The segmentation of a brain tumor is crucial in medical image
analysis. Because of the intricate nature of brain tumors, determining the impact of tumor from Magnetic
resonance brain images data remains a challenging task. A productive hybrid fuzzy clustering strategy is
proposed to alleviate picture distortions such as noise and intensity inhomogeneity while also improving
segmentation accuracy. Using an optimal hybrid fuzzy clustering based on advanced morphological
procedures and dynamic histogram equalization, Modified K Means integrated with Fuzzy C Means and
Modified Adaptive Kernel based Fuzzy C Means is proposed. This method produces an effective
segmentation approach. Comparison of proposed methods with K Means and Fuzzy C Means is also
presented. Evaluation metrics such as F score, precision, accuracy, specificity and recall were used to get
results.

Abstract
Many severe problems relating to the colonizers’ spiritual, cultural, emotional, and intellectual
wounds are still wreaking havoc in many African nations. The 'Subaltern East' and restrictive social norms
make the current situation of women more insecure, as it is shown in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's book
Purple Hibiscus. It also examines the delicate role played by colonial institutions, religion, patriarchal beliefs,
politics, and tradition in igniting conflicts and spreading the oppression and exploitation of women, domestic
violence, and the subaltern identity of the "double exploited. In Adichie's Purple Hibiscus, gender-based
violence takes the form of domestic violence, represented by Eugene Acike's film, the family the story revolves
around, set in the eastern part of Nigeria. Clearly, female domination is the most basic form of female
subjugation in this section. The marginalization and maltreatment of women are examined using post-colonial
and psycho-social theories. The article explores how Purple Hibiscus uses intersex and explores the
intersection of class, gender, race, and post-colonialism, in the context of the theological imagination
represented by the two brothers. Intestine expresses their Roman Catholic faith in different ways. The
character Papa Eugène, who is extremely religious and violent throughout the book, is portrayed as a colonial
subject who embodies the perceived violence of the colonial past. The book's postcolonial non-colonial
feminist perspective is best modeled by the character of Aunt Ifeoma and the way she manifests her Christian
faith as an African woman. While Aunt Ifeoma was an eloquent intellectual, women of different positions used
different methods to combat patriarchy and violence in pursuit of liberating relationships, thereby forming
diverse manifestations of the feminist agency. This article therefore explores the intersection of gender, class,
race, post-colonialism, and power in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's debut novel, Purple Hibiscus, set against
the political backdrop of Japan a military coup in Nigeria.

In this paper, we have considered the initial valued coupled homogeneous linear difference equation in
an intuitionist fuzzy environment. We have given an outline of the general and analytical solutions at some
fixed iteration levels and discussed the stability condition near the trivial intuitionist equilibrium point of the
system through a lemma. The proposed model is applied on a predator-prey model and the graphical solutions
are taken with taking different intuitionist initial predator and prey population size in order to observe the
dynamics in a short-sighted plan. Also, the graphical outcomes in an intuitionist environment validate the

The corrosion inhibition performance of an active constituent of Ginger extract (i.e., 6-Gingerol)as
a green corrosion inhibitor for Mild Steel (MS) in 1 N Hydrochloric acid (1 N HCl) medium was investigated
via gravimetric analysis and electrochemical studies like Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and
Potentiodynamic Polarization (PDP) studies. With an increase in inhibitor concentrations (50 - 250 ppm), it
was discovered that the best inhibition efficiency was obtained at 250 ppmafter 1hour (1h) immersion. The
influence of four distinct temperatures (30 - 60 oC) was also examined where the inhibition efficiency
decreased with temperatures. EIS study showed that the values of resistance due to charge transfer (R ct)
increased with the concentration of inhibitor where the PDP plots indicate that the inhibitor function as a
mixed inhibitor affecting both the anodic and cathodic partial reactions of the corrosion process. Scanning
Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX)and Atomic Force
Microscope (AFM) investigated the surface morphology and topology of the MS which confirmed the
adsorption of inhibitor molecules on the metal surface. The contact angle method predicted the hydrophobic
nature of the MS in the presence of an inhibitor. From all these investigations, it can be concluded that the 6-
Gingerol from Ginger extractacted as a good corrosion inhibitor for MS in a 1 N HCl medium.

Abstract
Infrastructure projects are characterized with different risks which come into play over the various
phases of the projects. Typical risks which are associated with the development phase include delay in land
acquisition, Construction-related risks such as time and cost overrun risks are the typical risks which are
associated with the construction phase. Demand risk, operation, and maintenance risk. PPPs allow for
allocation of risks to the party best able to manage them. The public sector can pass on those risks which can
be effectively managed by the private sector and retain those risks which they are in a better position to
manage or their consequences. The effect of the optimal risk allocation is that the project will achieve better
value for money and benefit from the efficiency gains than they otherwise would if retained wholly under
government control. This paper deals with Risk assessment of Public Private Partnership in Highway projects.
PPP is most widely used in highway projects. But due to some failure in PPP projects, various risks associated
to PPP projects have come into light. Therefore, Risk assessment has become a vital part of the project. For
risk assessment, 16 risk factors were shortlisted from a literature survey. These risks were divided into 4
stages along the life cycle of the project. Questionnaire was developed and distributed among experts from
the field both from public and private sector. Analysis was done using Analytic hierarchy process. Delay in
land acquisition with a weightage of 0.51 was most critical and planning risk was least critical in pre-
construction stage, design risk with weightage of 0.55 was most critical during construction stage, payment
risk with weightage of 0.51 was most critical during operation phase and project transfer risk was found to
be most critical in project handover phase.

Open Educational Resources (OER) is a new sensation in education that aims to enhance the value of
education and democratise full approach to knowledge. In earlier days, prior to digitalisation and computer
networking era both teachers and students were only to depend on printed materials in the form of text books.
The same materials were to be used for many years without any scope for furtherance of knowledge updates.
The cost of printing was also enormous and the availability of the same was also problematic especially in
rural areas. For learners the cost of materials were too high and voluminous to carry freely. “In the year 1998
David Wiley coined the term OPEN CONTENT and at UNESCO. OER was first used in 2002 at the Forum
on the Impact of Open Courseware on Higher Education in Developing Countries”. Nevertheless, as
everything has got its limitations OER too has users and sites to ascertain the prospects and challenges of
OER. Feedback indicates that although OER is available for free, it has not been fully adopted in the
educational sector, and awareness among teachers and students is low. Additionally, users find it challenging
to sift through enormous amounts of material to find the right one. However, OER has saved time and money
for many. Another critical issue with OER is the quality and authenticity of posted materials, as anyone can
modify and repost them.

Established in 2006 by the Government of India, the Banking Ombudsman Scheme serves as a quasi-
judicial authority tasked with resolving customer complaints related to specific banking services. This study
assesses the functioning and impact of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme, with a specific focus on its role in
addressing unresolved issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our research centers on the grounds for
customer complaints specified in Clause 8 of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006 and the pivotal role of
the ombudsman, appointed by the Reserve Bank of India. While the ombudsman's decisions hold legal weight
for banks, dissatisfied customers have the option of pursuing alternative remedies, including legal
recourse. This study employs rigorous analysis of secondary data from diverse sources, such as the annual
reports of the Reserve Bank of India, the Banking Ombudsman Scheme documentation, relevant publications,
and reputable websites. The findings, presented in an accessible format, reveal noteworthy improvements in
the management of customer complaints, encompassing filing, processing, and resolution. Additionally, we
discuss the implications of the "Integrated Ombudsman Scheme 2021 – (RB-IOS)" introduced by the Reserve
Bank of India, a strategic effort to streamline redressal processes for customers of RBI-regulated financial
institutions, embodying the concept of "One Nation – One Ombudsman."

The preparation of geopolymer concrete (GPC) for sustainable development in this work uses fly ash
as the source material and alkaline activators (sodium hydroxide + sodium silicate). There are three different
molarities of sodium hydroxide used: 8, 12, and 16. At various ratios of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%, bone china
waste (BCW) and incinerated biomedical waste ash (BMW) are substituted for the fine aggregates in GPC.
The use of wastes in place of fine aggregates in GPC is beneficial for addressing the issue of waste dumping
and for conserving energy and natural resources (sand quarries). The findings demonstrated that up to a 60%
replacement of sand by 30% BMW and 30% BCW increased the density, workability, and strength relative to
the control mix; but, beyond this point, the strength and other parameters declined. The mixture of 50% BCW
and 0% BMW showed considerable strength in contrast to the combination of 50% BMW and 0% BCW. In
comparison to mixes with 8M and 12M sodium hydroxide concentrations, mixes with a 16M sodium hydroxide
concentration shown improved workability, density, strength, and less air content.

Abstract
More than 7 % of the globe's total greenhouse gases emissions are brought on by the production of
cement. A suitable cement substitute must be found to stop cement production's contribution to ecological
degradation. Industrial byproducts like slag, fly ash, and other waste materials can be used as an alternative to
traditional concrete. When combined with appropriate activating agents, these admixtures of minerals can
completely replace cement, and the outcome of this process is known as geopolymer concrete mix (GPM). In
addition, because the rate of infrastructure development is accelerating, natural aggregate mines are vanishing
day by day. As a result, we also need to replace fine aggregates in GPM with M sand and coarse aggregates
with recycled aggregates considering there is a high rate of demolition of old buildings, which results in the
production of recycled aggregates. Other problems include the pollution of groundwater table and
surroundingsdue to the leaching of these byproducts in the process of dumping. As a result, the present study
briefly reviews the literature for GPM manufactured using various byproducts as source material and
aggregate replacement.

Plastic is an environmental concern and a waste product that pollutes the air, water, and environment.
This non-biodegradable plastic builds up daily and engulfs the entire world, endangering human health and
driving certain species extinct. As recycled aggregates are coated with plastic during the bitumen pavement
construction process, this waste plastic may be disposed of while also producing high-strength, reasonably
priced pavement. In terms of controlling plastic trash and various pavement flaws like ruts, potholes, and
corrugation, it is also a game-changing choice for India. In this article, the use of plastic and recycled asphalt
pavement aggregates—the products of demolished pavements—for road building is discussed, as well as how
it is better than normal pavements.

The purpose of this paper is to offer an introduction to MA, including its causes, symptoms,
diagnosis, therapy, and potential consequences. We searched PubMed for articles mentioning
"microaneurysm, diabetic retinopathy, and retina." The articles were analyzed based on criteria including
the location of the MA (i.e., on an arteriole, venule, capillary, or venular plexus), the age of the patient when
the MA was detected, the clinical features of the MA, the clinical course, the location and appearance of the
MA, and the treatment of the MA. Ocular circulation publications were also assessed for their relevance to
ophthalmology. In this review, we looked at literature that discussed this subject specifically. MA is a diseased
formation made up of blood inside a weakened artery or vein in the retina. In individuals with diabetic
retinopathy, the presence of MA indicates the existence of retinal vascular lesions. The capillaries in a normal
retina deliver blood to the retinal cells. Although some MA can be found on the retina, they are more
commonly seen on arteries, arteriolar branches, and capillaries. Retinal hemorrhages, cotton-wool patches,
and ischemia can occur alongside MA. Retinal hemorrhages, however, may present itself before MA is even
present. Neovascularization in the retina is indicated by the development of macular edema (MA), which is
one of the most prevalent vascular abnormalities in diabetic retinopathy. Retinopathy with neovascularization
is sometimes associated with the occurrence of macular edema (MA).

COVID-19, a highly contagious pathogen, emerged in 2019 and rapidly disseminated as an inflammatory
respiratory illness, raising substantial global concern. This disease primarily affects the respiratory system.
The study has established that bats serve as the reservoir for the COVID-19 virus, while the identity of the
intermediate remains unidentified. However, there are already many concerns regarding the coronavirus. The
Omicron variant previously dominated globally, but now attention is shifting to the latest variant, BA.2.86,
informally referred to as Pirola it is being monitored globally. The proposed study employs Machine Learning
Algorithms to forecast positive COVID-19 cases, incorporating Adaptive Synthetic Sampling techniques,
notably ADASYN, to rectify the class imbalance within the dataset. The proposed approach undergoes
evaluation across nine state-of-the-art ML classifiers, utilizing data derived from 5,400 patient records for
both training and testing purposes. Results indicate that the RandomForestClassifier achieves the highest
prediction accuracy at 88.00%. The proposed study also employs SHapely Adaptive exPlanations (SHAP)

Abstract:
The primary objective of this study was to assess the therapeutic potential of ginger extract by
examining the activities of specific mitochondrial enzymes in diabetic rats induced by streptozotocin. The
diabetic rats displayed a significant reduction in the activities of mitochondrial and membrane bound
enzymesincluding succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), malate dehydrogenase (MDH), glutamate dehydrogenase
(GDH), isocitrate dehydrogenase (ICDH),Na+/K+ ATPase and Ca2+ ATPase activity. Conversely, the activity
of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) was found to be significantly increased in diabetic rats. However, the daily
oral administration of ginger ethyl alcohol extract at a dosage of 200 mg/kg body weight for 30 days effectively
reversed these enzyme activity alterations. Our findings indicate that ginger administration influences the
activities of mitochondrial and membrane bound enzymes, suggesting its role in mitochondrial energy
production. To validate our results, we compared them to the effects of glibenclamide, a standard anti-diabetic
drug. Overall, this study demonstrates the potential of ginger to modulate these enzyme activities, presenting
a promising avenue for future use in the treatment of diabetes.

Abstract
The advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) has ushered in a transformative era for libraries worldwide.
This paper explores the manifold ways in which IoT technology is redefining library services and operations.
By integrating IoT solutions, libraries are poised to enhance the patron experience, streamline processes, and
optimize resource management. IoT's application in libraries commences with Radio-Frequency
Identification (RFID) technology, which has been instrumental in automating book check-in and check-out
processes. IoT takes this a step further by enabling real-time tracking and monitoring of library materials,
reducing instances of misplacement, and ensuring efficient inventory management. Smart shelves equipped
with IoT sensors are altering the landscape of library layout and resource usage. These shelves detect book
movement, facilitating efficient shelf management while also notifying librarians when overcrowding occurs.
Security and access control in libraries have improved through IoT-based systems, safeguarding library
collections and enhancing patron safety. Smart locks and surveillance systems integrated with IoT provide
real-time security alerts. IoT is also enhancing the patron experience with proximity-based services. Beacons
placed strategically within libraries can send personalized notifications and assistance to patrons'
smartphones based on their location, providing event updates, book recommendations, and navigation
support. Energy efficiency is another facet where IoT shines, automating lighting and HVAC systems based
on occupancy and environmental data, thus reducing energy consumption and costs. Data analytics gleaned
from IoT devices offer insights into patron behavior, aiding collection development and resource allocation
decisions. Furthermore, IoT aids in inventory management, making misplaced or overdue items easier to
locate. While IoT presents numerous opportunities, addressing privacy and security concerns is paramount.
Libraries must carefully assess the costs and benefits of implementing IoT solutions while ensuring the
protection of patron data.

Defogging an outdoor photograph is difficult since haze can significantly reduce image clarity. We provide a
new loss function for the cutting-edge MPM-Net image defogging model that use the wavelet transform to
better capture the relationship between the low- and high-frequency components of the input image and the
dehazed image. The recommended loss function improves the MPM-Net model's picture defogging quality, as
evidenced by experiments on synthetic and real-world image datasets, resulting in crisper images with more
distinct features.

This paper describes a novel inventory control model regarding optimal warehousing decision-making
scenarios. Price and promotion of products influence the demand rate. This paper includes the fact in its
hypothesis and examines the overall impact of the mentioned issues on profitability. The inventory carrying
scheme associated with the proposed model consists of both rented and owned warehouse facilities in
which cost increases linearly with time. The shortage is allowed to be partially backlogged type, and the
rate of backlogging depends on waiting time. Also, discount and trade credit facilities are available during
purchasing of items. Results show that price hike enhances profit despite the negative impact on demand
creation. Also, promotion frequency favors profitability suppressing the corresponding costs. Another
managerial intuition is revealed through the numerical result that the stock should be held in a rented
warehouse when deterioration in owned warehouse increases, despite more cost of a rented warehouse.

Abstract
The development of mathematical models to address social issues is gaining more momentum in recent
times, and this research work aligns with mathematical sociology. Presently, suicidal ideation is highly
prevalent among adolescent students, especially those belonging to the age group of 15-19. The frequent
reporting of suicidal cases signals incongruences between the intelligence quotient and emotional intelligence
of adolescent students. Academic stress is found to be one of the main causes of suicidal ideation. As the
adolescent age is inherently critical, students, especially those in higher secondary education, are finding it
highly difficult to strike a balance between their intelligence quotient and emotional intelligence. This has
motivated us to conduct an in-depth study on the factors contributing to the imbalance between intelligence
quotient and emotional intelligence, as well as the consequential impact of this imbalance on the suicidal
ideation of adolescent students, with special case studies. This research work applies the concept of a fuzzy
cognitive map to explore suicidal ideation among adolescent students. The findings of this research work will
undoubtedly assist academicians in developing more comprehensive policies and measures to foster a healthy
mindset among students.

Abstract
The chief occupation of agriculture utilizes a major portion of the land for crop plantation and apply
fertilizers of diverse nature to enhance the soil fertility. The soil's texture plays a crucial role in its ability to
retain and absorb nutrients from applied fertilizers. Unfortunately, many farmers lack the knowledge needed
to select the right fertilizers that match their soil's texture. This lack of awareness places a substantial financial
burden on farmers and results in significantly reduced crop yields. Moreover, the misalignment between
fertilizers and soil texture negatively impacts soil quality, leading to economic losses for farmers and
jeopardizing their livelihoods. Hence, it is imperative to develop a predictive model that empowers farmers to
make informed decisions regarding the selection of appropriate fertilizers tailored to their specific soil
textures. This research work utilizes the capabilities of hybrid deep learning to tackle these challenges, offering
precise and customized fertilizer recommendations based on soil texture. The results are compared with other
machine learning algorithms to validate the degree of optimal outcomes.

In the present study, the corrosion inhibition effect of aqueous leaves extract on mild steel was
investigated in 1.0 M HCl solution at different temperature using weight loss, Tafel polarization, linear
polarization resistance, and electrochemical impedance measurements. Adsorption of inhibitor on the surface
of the mild steel obeyed both Langmuir and Temkin adsorption isotherms. The thermodynamic and kinetic
parameters were also calculated to determine the mechanism of corrosion inhibition. Protective film formation
against corrosion was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM),
and contact angle studies. The result shows that the leaves extract acts as corrosion inhibitor and is able to
promote surface protection by blocking active sites on the metal.

Abstract
Agriculture, industry, human and animal needs, and river infrastructure all depend on them. Untreated
sewage and other types of pollution have been released into major rivers around the world, including those in
the Baitarani Basin, as a result of increased industrial activity and rapid human population in semi-urban and
metropolitan cities.Since the dawn of human civilization, anthropogenic and natural processes have continued
to contaminate the water supply. Environmental degradation and declining water quality are major world
concerns. 13 locations were observed seasonally in this study to determine how monsoonal precipitation
affected environmental factors and the Water Quality Index (WQI).Over the course of a year, sampling
technique was employed in the pre-, monsoon, and post-monsoon phases (2020-2021). Various
physicochemical parameters, like TDS, TSS, EC, DO, PH, Turbidity, Alkalinity, SO42-, NO3-, BOD, TH,
HCO3-, Ca2+, Mg2+, PO43-, Cl-, Na+, K+ and Fewere examined to determine whether water was suitable for a
range of applications. The readings for pH, EC, TDS, TH, main cations, and DO were all noticeably under BIS
and WHO recommendations. Turbidity, TSS, and, in certain cases, BOD values were all above the permissible
threshold, implying contaminated waterways.Utilizing the measured values, the Kriging methodology was
used to create interpolated maps for each component, and the WQI algorithm was used to estimate the water
purity. The findings indicated that the WQI values ranged from 18 to 60 in pre-monsoon phase, from 17.92 to
59 in the monsoon, and from 20 to 78 in the post-monsoon timeframe. The results revealed that the water
quality fluctuated between average and good mostly in chosen sites and that pollutants rises from upstream to
downstream.Principal component analysis (PCA) and the clustering technique (CA) were also used. These
techniques were performed to analyse the state of the water for effective management. The sampling locations
are grouped by CA into homogeneous clusters with comparable behaviours. The river's water quality can be
described using PCA by identifying key factors that are relevant to each season. PCA was successful in
explaining 76%, 74%, and 72% of the overall cumulative variation in water quality over the course of the
year. The PCA results showed that the most significant factors affecting water quality were BOD, Fe, turbidity,
and TSS. Significant contributors to river water pollution have been highlighted as fertilizers, home and
industrial wastewaters, land degradation, soil leaching, organic contaminants, and environmental
contamination. The quantifiable benefits, however, varied different seasons. The calculated rates of the criteria
and the WQI clearly demonstrate that the Baitarani River water demands a suitable treatment procedure as
well as actions to prevent to stop the deteriorating water quality. Appropriateness of methodologies for
planning and designing related to sampling sites for regulating water quality management initiatives in river
basins. To improve health and protect water resources and the environment, strict rules and regulations must
be implemented in order to protect this water resource from pollution.

Abstract
Water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) is a weedy lignocellulosic material which represented
a promising candidate for bioethanol production in tropical countries because of their high availability
and high biomass yield. The potential of bioethanol production using different microbial inoculants
for the simultaneous saccharification and fermentation of water hyacinth. Water hyacinth was
obtained from ukkadam-valankulam lake, Coimbatore. Then it is washed, dried in a laboratory air
oven dryer at 120°C for 3 h, ground into a fine texture and sieved with 1.5 μ nylon sieve. The sieved
material was cultured using different microbial inoculant such as Aspergillus oryzae, Aspergillus
niger and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. After 21 days incubation the culture was distilled using rotary
vacuum evaporator and the produced bioethanol was analysed by Fourier-transform infrared
spectroscopy (FTIR) technique. The yield reported in this study competes favourably with those
reported from water hyacinth, cassava peels, potato peels and millet husks using other inoculant
treatments by other workers. This study indicate that water hyacinth is a promising plant for ethanol
production. The purpose of present work is to study the production of ethanol from water hyacinth,
used as substrate, using different microbial strain. Inoculants used in this study thus showed great
potential for bioethanol production from water hyacinth. Thus, the experiment imparts an economic
value to water hyacinths that are cleared from chokingwaterways.

In this study, we compare and contrast several power electronic devices for DFIG-based wind
generators, discussing their respective merits and shortcomings in each. The sector of the economy
dealing with renewable sources of energy is experiencing a recent upsurge. Given their inherent
permanence in the natural world, the energy they provide is reliable for the foreseeable future.
Because of this, it has the potential to replace conventional energy sources in a more sustainable
way. Thus, power electronics are essential in producing electricity from wind. The production of
these renewable sources is simple and effective with the help of converters and inverters. This
research examines the wide variety of DC-to-DC converters that have been developed, modelled,
simulated and implemented for use in wind energy systems. Power generation from wind turbines
in several converter topologies, including the buck-boost converter, the Cuk converter, and also the
Sepic converter, are compared and contrasted in terms of their output efficiency and total harmonic
distortions.Depending on the specifics of the system, choosing a high-performance, the ripple-free
converter could significantly reduce or even eliminate the need for supplementary filter circuitry.
Based on total harmonic distortion and efficiency ratings, the best possible converter is selected for
the wind system. The wind system that produces DFIGs can handle a 20kW, 240v load.

affect the prospects of achieving, business or project goals'. Project risk management includes
the processes concerned with identifying, analyzing, and responding to project risk. Managing risk is
an integral part of good management, and fundamental to achieving good business and project
outcomes and the effective procurement of goods and services. The general methodology of this
study is to overcome those problems by using management software.Construction industry knows the
importance of project management software but they are not made only for planning and scheduling
purpose but these are capable of performing many other functions beyond them. This software can
be used to manage the risk by defining them along with assigning roles and responsibility during
occurrence of the events .For this purpose, questionnaire survey has been conducted with the help of
several organisations and after analysing their result main risk factor is evaluated. The evaluated result
is incorporated in the software for the effective analysis of result and identified how it will affect the
project and the solution to overcome those risks. In any construction project it is very important to
look out for the risks involved in the project so that it can be handled easily and comfortably.

Abstract
A critical part in reenacting the events at a murder scene is played by the forensic science of
bloodstain pattern examination (BPA). Regardless of the blood was splattered by a bullet or a violent
impact, such as a beating or stabbing, is one reconstruction concern. The highly probable murder
weapon, the place of the assault, and whether or not the body has been transferred from the initial
crime scene may all be inferred from the form, shape, distribution, and placement of bloodstains.
while there are many stains of blood at the place of the crime, it is more likely that mistakes will be
made while categorizing blood spatter evidence since there will be less information available for
examination. In this work, artificial intelligence (A.I.) algorithms will be used to help experts analyze
bloodstain patterns. Since BPA currently uses a manual analysis procedure, it is crucial that they
employ forensic investigators who can deliver precise, trustworthy results. Human mistake, however,
is inevitable, and analyst error can lead to erroneous conclusions that endanger casework.
Automated and computer-assisted techniques of analysis have to be developed for advancement in
the science of BPA. In this work, we employed artificial intelligence to recreate crime scene samples
and predict the angle of impact. Our AI- assisted method was shown to be reliable for all the data
examined. The key input data for this investigation was the examination of images obtained at a
single impact angle. A single variable was changed at a time while employing controlled settings to
experimentally create bloodstain patterns. Machine learning serves as a tool for classification.
Readily available blood spatter patterns are used in the study. A collection of features with potential
significance to classification are designed, and the random forests approach is used to select the
most helpful features and carry out classification. The study demonstrates that as the distance from
the target surface picking up the stains and the fluid blood origin increases, the precision of
classification suffers.

Agriculture is essential to human survival, and the need for food is growing as the population
increases. Therefore, it is important to maximize crop production. To achieve this, crops must be
protected from bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. Early and accurate diagnosis of paddy leaf
diseases allows for timely agricultural interventions, which can significantly reduce
economiclosses.Image processing techniques can be used to identify and classify paddy leaf diseases.
This paper proposes a simple and effective method for early rice leaf disease detection using image
processing and machine learning. The method uses a clustering algorithm to segment the diseased
region, the non-diseased part, and the background in the image. The Support Vector Machine (SVM)
algorithm is then used to classify thediseases. The system was evaluated on four paddy leaf diseases:
Brown Spot, Sheath Blight, Blast Disease, and Narrow Brown Spot. It achieved an accuracy of 94%.
This method can be used to detect plant leaf diseases in the agricultural sector around the world.
Here is a summary of the method:Acquire images of healthy and diseased paddyleaves.Preprocess
the images to remove extraneousbackground. Segmentthe images into diseased and non-
diseased regions using aclustering algorithm. Classify the diseases using the SVMalgorithm.

Improving lifetime of Wireless Sensor Network is the most critical problem. The major cause of
this problem is the limited energy resources. In WSN, sensor nodes are randomly located with battery
power. These sensor nodes transmit the information through the network by monitoring, detecting
and analyzing the physical phenomenon. While transmitting the information, the energy give up by
each node gets increases. Low energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH) it is required to
minimize the energy consumption of nodes which probably maximizes the network lifetime. Fuzzy
Logic Based Clustering Protocol is used to select proper and efficient Super Cluster Head so that
substantial life time can be accomplished. One of the system assumptions made in this protocol is
that base station mobility. In our proposed system, the location of base station is updated in each
cluster heads& non-cluster members. For efficient cluster formation & energy increases retain
network lifetime process Dynamic clustering. If any one of the super cluster heads sense a critical
event, then it forwards the collected data to the cluster head that is present near to the base station. If
any of the gateway node gets failed in the network means it gives the information to the base station
as well as to their mobile stations. The Base station finds the next gateway node which is nearer to
the failed gateway node and moves that node to the failure location in order to transmit and receive
the information from the cluster. This will reduce the data transmission distance and the overall
communication distance between the mobile station and the base station in the network. The fuzzy
logic process efficiently energy prolong in using concept of firefly algorithm its retains network
lifetime & energy in standardize way.

Abstract
In the turbulence of 1857, India's expansive landscape experienced profound changes, yet the
tales from the heights of Himachal Pradesh remain underrepresented. This research explores
Himachal's unique response to the 1857 rebellion, highlighting its geographical, religious, and socio-
political nuances. Despite being fragmented across districts and princely states, Himachal showcased
an eclectic brand of Hinduism, mixed with local deities and non-Hindu entities, signifying its deep-
rooted cultural and spiritual identity. The region experienced an increasing British territorial
annexation, reshaping the employment landscape and inducing social unrest. Labor exploitation and
the consequent grassroots discontent became a notable consequence of colonial policies. As the 1857
uprising resonated across India, Himachal Pradesh too, was awash with signs of revolt. From the tales
of Thakur Pratap Singh of Kullu and the strategic intelligence of the Rani of Jutog, to the religious
influences of Ram Prasad Bairagi of Sabathu, the region bore testimony to resistance. Himachal's
Dagshahi region witnessed overt opposition to the 'Firangi raj,' further exacerbated by outside
emissaries rallying support for the rebellion. Unique centers of dissent, such as the Gurukula near
Kasauli, defied their conventional roles, envisioning an independent India. Interestingly, the
Gurkhas, traditionally loyal to the British, exhibited shifts in their allegiance, showcasing the depth
of the rebellion's reach. While the British managed to maintain a semblance of control, their strategies
generated deeper societal rifts. This research brings forth the intricate dance of rebellion, loyalty, and
suppression in Himachal Pradesh during 1857, painting a picture of the region's engagement with one
of India's most defining historical moments.

Abstract
The narrative representations within a society is greatly influenced by its culture, be it a poem,
movies or novel. Culture plays a significant role in shaping themes, characters and settings of a story.
The fictional narrative is a representation of culture of a particular time and place and allows reader
to understand the social, political and historical context in which the plot develops. The setting
changes and relationship between culture and its environment changes once the plot is taken from
one cultural space and time and placed it into another. The creation and evolution of new characters
is required to attain the narration of the plot. The plot is narrated along rituals, customs and
traditions of a particular culture in which the plot is set. The paper tries to examine the formation
and evolution of characters when Shakespeare’s King Lear is relocated to an Indian cultural context
in We That Are Young by Preti Taneja. The social norms and hierarchies that existed within the
Elizabethan age changed to contemporary culture of India. The gender roles, class distinctions and
power dynamics that shapes the character’s lives changes and the essay tries toanalyze various
elements of culture that develop characters, build settings, and explore themes capturing the
evolution of these characters in the narration of the plot. The narration offers readers an opportunity
to explore and understand different societies and culture.

Abstract
Diseases and insect pests represent significant threats to the tea industry, causing substantial
economic losses annually. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have demonstrated the capacity
to automatically extract relevant features from images of diseased or infested tea leaves. However,
challenges arise when dealing with photographs taken in natural environments, including issues such
as leaf shadingand small-sized objects. These challenges impede the recognition performance of
conventional CNNs. In response, this study introduces a novel hyper-tuned model based on the
YOLOv5 architecture. The proposed model incorporates innovations to address these challenges
effectively. Firstly, it integrates self-attention and convolution (ACmix) as well as the Convolutional
Block Attention Module (CBAM), enhancing the model's ability to focus on tea tree leaf diseases and
insect pests. Secondly, the spatial pyramid pooling fast (SPPF) module in the original YOLOv5 is
replaced with the receptive field block (RFB) module to improve feature extraction capabilities.
Furthermore, to optimize resource utilization, a Global Context Network (GCNet) is integrated,
crucial for deployment on resource-constrained edge devices. Comparative assessments reveal the
superiority of suggested method over YOLOv5s, with improvements ranging from 0.3% to 15.0%
across all test data. Specifically, this suggestive YOLO v5 model surpasses Faster R-CNN and SSD
by 5.5%, 1.8%, 7.0% and 7.7%, 7.8%, 5.2% in terms of Average Precision at different IoU thresholds.
These results underscore the potential for real-world tree disease detection applications, where precise
control of tea diseases is essential for maintaining tea leaf yield and quality. Future research endeavors
will address the limitations of dataset to further enhance the model's applicability.

significantly global warming and energy crisis, the adoption of Electric Vehicle with cutting edge
technologies may prove beneficial in partially eradicating real-word difficulties In this
presentation we have made an effort to introduce an all-new innovative approach towards
integrated intelligent hybrid power model considering both renewable and conventional power
sources primarily to feed the EVs. A smart integrated controller circuit has been designed to set
up a network consisting of multiple energy sources, storage, charging infrastructure and finally
existing grid to establish uniform reliable bi-directional flow of energy. The above-proposed
dynamic model has been characterized to optimize the flow of energy between generating station
and loads through intelligent energy switching between sources based on its demand schedule.
Moreover, a special feature has been instigated i.e. GPS based mobile charging van service for
real-time emergency backup; in addition, surplus power can be utilized by distributing to remote
areas in turn empowering with independent power autonomy. Cost optimization has been achieved
using an evolutionary algorithm which has been numerically validated with respect to real-time

All organisms including humans, synthesize the heat shock proteins, but normally they only
do so during the conditions of extreme physical stress. Exposure of an organism or tissue to
temperature higher than the optimal growth temperature disturbs their normal function, ultimately
resulting in death. Pesticides have often come under severe criticism because of their toxic effects to
biological systems other than their primary targets. The exposure of the population to small amounts
of these pesticides as residues in the environment has been shown to exert deleterious effects on the
biological system. In the current study we have investigated the anti-oxidant activities of the leaf
extracts derived from Clausenadentata, which is a small tree, belonging to the family Rutaceae and
found in India, Sri Lanka and China. The C. dentata leaf extracts have been reported widely for their
pest repellent, larvicidal, Hepato-protective effects, anti-inflammatory effects and Wound healing
capacities. The plant extracts were retrieved from Soxhlet distillation system using various solvents
such as chloroform, petroleum ether and water – aqueous, extracts and were all checked for
phytochemical and antioxidant scavenging activities. The water extract was also used to study the
anti-oxidant activity in live animal model – Drosophila melanogaster. This study depicts that theC.
dentata being one of the strong pest repellent it is thought to express some stress induced effects over
the living organisms. The current study is one such work that implements the Phytochemical,

Abstract
Deepak Dalal's Andaman Adventure: The Jarwa portrayal of the Andaman Islands' native
Jarwa people, has been met with acclaim and controversy. This abstract critically analyzes Dalal's
novel, concentrating on how it affected the Jarwa people and how they are portrayed in the text.
Dalal's story, although exciting, has been criticized for stereotyping indigenous people and
eroticizing the Jarwa. There is cause for worry that the book would perpetuate negative narratives
by depicting Jarwa's contacts with the outside world through a prism of dread and primitiveness. The
author's travels to the Andaman Islands and his conversations with the Jarwa have also raised moral
concerns regarding the invasion of their homeland. His detractors say his approach to adventure
tourism might hasten the invasion of Jarwa territory, endangering the people and their way of life.
This research also discusses the writer's and media's ethical obligations toward marginalized and
disadvantaged populations. A more nuanced and respectful representation of indigenous peoples has
been demanded, and the significance of permission, cultural awareness, and ethical storytelling in
adventure fiction has been emphasized. In sum, the tale presented in this study is engaging and
prompts essential discussions on the paper's potential ethical implications and their effect on
indigenous people. The Jarwa people and the larger conversation over indigenous representation in
literature and media are the focus of this abstract, which invites critical analysis of the book's
approach to both.

Now a day’s most of the engineering application such as defence, aviation, automotive and
marine components are in heavy weight. But most of them prefer with good mechanical qualities as
well as low weight; this demand is provided only by a metal matrix composition (MMC’s) of
aluminium due to its unique accomplishment. The MMC suffer a lot from insufficient process stability,
dependability and also lack of economic efficiency. This study focuses the advanced aluminium
composite to meet the current demands which light weight with enhanced material properties. The
combination of flyash and epoxy resin is reinforced with Aluminium 6061 and Aluminium 7068 to
produce new material. An experiment is carried out to recreate metal matrix material boosted with
Fly-ash and Epoxy-resin utilising two-stage in-situ stir casting procedures. Aluminium 6061,
aluminium 7068 and Fly-ash Epoxy-resin were combined in ten various ratios. The elements of both
aluminium compounds have bonded reversibly and formed its coordination structure. The following
tests were done to analyse the thermal, microstructural and wear characteristics of proposed

Abstract
Valsartan a tetrazole derivative is an angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blocker used alone or in combination
with others agents to treat hypertension and reduce cardiovascular mortality after myocardial
infarction. The present study was aimed at preparing thin films containing valsartan for immediate
release of drug and to study the effect of polymer in different ratios on rate of drug release. Since the
oral bioavailability of valsartan is poor due to first pass metabolism when given orally, we intended
to made the fast dissolving films using different polymers with other excipients which provide
absorption through Translabial route and the drug will release directly into systemic circulation.
Translabial route provides the most convenient and painless administration. A drug delivered by oral
route may undergo pre systemic metabolism, protein degradation and variable drug absorption, which
affects the drug concentration in the body, resulting in poor bioavailability. The translabial or
transmucosal route is considered as an advantageous route that may overcome these problem. Glycine
max act as a polymer. Polymer widely used to controlling drug release, providing site specific
delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and improving drug stability. The drug release
pattern showed good fit to the Koresmeyer-peppas with r2 values 0.9955. Drug release mechanism
shows the super case Ⅱ transport. In these studies GL1 shows best formulation among synthetic
polymers formulation having the release of 81.12% in the end of 8hr and GL6 showed the slowest
drug release of 75.2%. It can be concluded that the thin films containing valsartan could be a
promising approaches for the treatment of hypertension by overcoming the drawbacks with
conventional dosage forms. Translabial route will be one of the promising films technology for
enhancing the dissolution rate and also increasing the bioavailability.

These days, antenna miniaturization is a critical issue in wireless communication. The
simulation analysis of compact planar antennas created utilizing various strategies for antenna
miniaturization is presented in this work. They have introduced ways for defining miniaturization that
allow us to gauge the use of microstrip antennas. These methods were used by a number of public
and private sector organizations to address the issue of antenna construction in mobile devices,
satellites, missiles, radar navigational aids, and military applications. By using these methods, the
antenna's physical size can be decreased while its bandwidth and effectiveness are increased. The
addition of slots, slits, brief meandering, innovative topologies like fractals, and higher dielectric
constants are a few strategies for antenna miniaturization. It is described how miniaturization affects
several antenna properties as radiation effectiveness, gain, and bandwidth. The paper concludes with
a brief description of how to miniaturize an antenna utilizing effective techniques, which includes
using a double-layered substrate structure in a microstrip patch antenna. Its key characteristics and
shortcomings are discussed, along with how they affect the performance of the antenna.

The multidisciplinary study of how language affects social life is known as linguistic
anthropology. This article discusses the applicability of anthropological theory, methodology, and
literature to the teaching of languages. It is a field of anthropology that emerged from the effort to
record endangered languages and has expanded over the past century to cover the majority of
linguistic features. It is suggested that the explicit teaching of culture in language classes is necessary, and
that the anthropological notion of cultural relativity aids in fostering an environment free from bias. By
investigating and evaluating their own and one another's cultures, instructor and students should both take
on the role of amateur anthropologists. The language classroom ought to be the unbiased space where two
cultures can freely discuss cultural norms and attitudes. Many of the psychological issues that are common
in language teaching and learning would be resolved by using this strategy.By using an anthropological
approach to language instruction, students can develop both linguistic and communicative proficiency,
and they can practice linguistic structures with engaging and pertinent material. Every component of
language instruction can incorporate the teaching of culture. There are a few suggested methods offered.
Additionally, it is questioned if this method of language instruction may be used with people who speak a
non-standard or minority language. If the teacher and students work together to explore their own and
other people's cultures, utilizing anthropological literature and their own expertise as resources, they can
both learn a lot.

This research article investigates the therapeutic potential of Solanum betaceum and
Amaranthus dubius through a comprehensive analysis of their antifungal, antidiabetic, and
antioxidant activities. The antifungal efficacy of S. betaceum was evaluated at varying
concentrations, revealing substantial inhibition against Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus flavus.
Notably, higher concentrations exhibited remarkable zones of inhibition, with 80 µl leading to a
substantial 20 mm inhibition against A. flavus. Conversely, A. dubius exhibited limited antifungal
activity against the tested strains. The anti-diabetic activity assessment, conducted using the amylase
inhibition method, demonstrated modest inhibitory effects for both A. dubius and S. betaceum
extracts, with percentages ranging from 0.0054 to 0.063 and 0.054 to 0.058, respectively. The
cumulative inhibition for both extracts was recorded at 0.0532%, suggesting limited potential in
amylase inhibition. Moreover, the DPPH antioxidant assay of S. betaceum leaf ethyl acetate extract
revealed increasing antioxidant activity with rising concentrations, reaching 31.18% at 100 µl. The
comparison with the reference standard, butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), validated the extract's
antioxidant efficacy. Overall, this study establishes the presence of medicinally significant secondary
metabolites within the examined plant extracts, accounting for their antifungal, antidiabetic, and
antioxidant activities. Despite varying degrees of activity, S. betaceum showed a moderate level of
antifungal efficacy, whereas A. dubius exhibited limited antifungal and anti-diabetic potential. These
findings shed light on the promising therapeutic prospects of the studied plant extracts, warranting
further exploration and application in the realm of natural medicine and therapeutics

This study describes a wireless ad hoc sensor network with a restricted routing protocol that
can be used to protect against wormhole and black opening assaults. In that case, the routes to the
data programme depending on energy usage and employing a direction-finding protocol are
different. One of the most effective methods for power reduction in wireless antenna networks is node

The discharge of effluent wastewater containing industrial textile dyes poses significant
threats to water quality, public health, and aquatic life. One-fifth of water pollution concerns are
attributed to the presence of textile dyes which can have harmful effects on human health and the
environment. Synthetic dyes, including Eriochrome Black T, Bismarck Brown, and Bromocresol
Purple, are known to be mutagenic and carcinogenic. Dyes contain chromophore groups that impart
colour but can also pose environmental and health risks. However, the use of nanoparticles provides
a convenient and effective method for breaking down these chromophore groups, enabling the
degradation and removal of dyes. This approach offers a promising solution to tackle the harmful
effects of dyes, ensuring water quality and safeguarding both human well-being and ecological
balance. Physicochemical methods for dye wastewater treatment often rely on excessive chemical
usage and generate problematic sludge. To address these challenges, bioremediation has emerged
as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative. This study discusses the successful
implementation of biological treatment processes for the removal of azo dyes, which constitute the
largest class of textile dyes and contribute to eutrophication. The bioremediation strategies
encompass microbial degradation mechanisms, biodegradation pathways, and techniques for
enhancing performance. The potential of nanoparticles, such as titanium oxide, iron oxide, and zinc
oxide, for the degradation of Eriochrome Black T and Bismarck Brown, is also examined. Overall,
this study provides valuable insights into bioremediation's efficacy in combating dye pollution,
improving water quality, and mitigating eutrophication while highlighting the importance of
sustainable approaches.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global health issue that is also the root cause of many
other disorders and has a high morbidity and mortality rate. People sometimes don't notice CKD
because there aren't any obvious negative symptoms in its early stages. If the disease is detected
early, patients can receive the appropriate treatment to accelerate its progression. Due to their rapid
and precise recognition execution, machine learning models can successfully assist medical
professionals in achieving this objective. I recommend using logistic regression to diagnose chronic
kidney disease in this evaluation. To get the best precision, proposed calculations like NAVE BAYES,
Choice TREE, KSTAR, LOGISITIC, and SVM are looked at. AI storage without a lot of features.
Patients may miss a few estimates for a variety of reasons, so missing attributes are frequently
discovered in clinical situations. I developed a perceptron-based integrated model that combines
estimated relapse and irregular woodlands by dissecting the errors made by the setup models.
Consequently, I hypothesized that disease detection using more complex clinical data might benefit
from this concept.

Health care electronics require energy storage units such as batteries and capacitors as their
sole power sources. Current energy storage implants constrain by balancing factors including high-
performance, biocompatibility, conformal adhesion, and mechanical compatibility with soft tissues.
Hence biocompatible, lightweight and miniature energy storage devicesremaina challenge yet. The
present work reports the impact of doping Nickel ions into a Hydroxyapatite (HAp) crystal system for
bio supercapacitor applications. The phase abundances and structural properties of the HAp and Ni-
doped HAp were evaluated using XRD, Raman, and FTIR spectrum. The results indicated that the
phase composition and structural features of the products were noticeably affected by the doping with
Ni. TheNi-doped HAp sample exhibited a significantly improved specific capacity of about 415.35Fg-
1
at 10mAg-1 which is much higher than pristine (166.77 at 10mAg-1). The improved electrochemical
performance is due to the large surface area (187.29 m2g−1) due to such structural distortion which
can provide many active sites for the redox reactions and facilitate effective transport and diffusion
of the electrolyte ions, leading to more efficient utilization of the active material. The poor
crystallinity can promote the generation of oxygen vacancy defects that can be confirmed by XPS and
XAS studies. Hence this study demonstrates remarkable potential in advanced smart and
biocompatible energy storage devices.

Low-cost agricultural waste as adsorbents for reducing and removing heavy metals is a
progressive economic solution to this environmental setback. Castor shells (CS), groundnut shells
(GS) and Pistachio shells (PS) have been identified as potentially low-cost and efficient adsorbents
for the reduction or removal of toxic heavy metals from contaminated water. Adsorption of metal
Chromium (VI) was found to be dependent on experimental conditions. The maximum adsorption of
Cr6+ by CS noted was 63.755 % when the initial concentration was 20 ppm, the dosage was 1g and
the contact time of 8 hours. The maximum adsorption of Cr6+ by GS noted was 51.911 %, at pH 9;
the initial concentration was 60 ppm, and the dosage concentration was 2g for a contact time of 24
hours. The maximum adsorption of Cr6+ by PS noted was 44.858 % when the initial concentration
was 40 ppm, the dosage was 1g and the contact time was 2 hours. Efficient metal removal in batch
experiments has produced a low-cost adsorbent-based heavy metal removal system. This suggests
that these low-cost adsorbents could lead to the development of economically feasible technology for
metal removal from water effluents and other wastewater. The prepared adsorbents were evaluated

Cloud computing platforms provides lot of services to the customers according to their
demands by which shared resources like software, hardware and storage are all made available and
charged according to the usage [1] [2]. The major issue which is of great concern is cloud data
security which is preventing many customers to use Cloud data storage. As our requirements are
increasing rapidly more storage spaces are provided and more room is created by reducing the
storage space by removing the repeated information and maintaining a single copy of it by using a
method called Data Deduplication. [6] Here new data is compared with original one and deletes the
new copy and updates the metadata file. In this article a review report of the various methods used
to achieve data deduplication and chunking algorithms is done. This key issue has been managed to
some extent with the help of some existing algorithms which forms the basis of identifying the research
gaps in the existing ones as well as lead us to some research problem leading to reduction of cloud
storage space.

Abstract
Beauty influencers have become increasingly influential in shaping the purchasing decisions
of Indian consumers. These influencers, armed with charisma and digital platforms, have effectively
bridged the gap between beauty brands and consumers in India. Their authentic and relatable content
has resonated with a diverse audience, transcending geographical and cultural boundaries. As a result,
consumers across the nation now turn to these influencers not just for product recommendations but
also for guidance on skincare routines, makeup techniques, and beauty trends. The rise of these
influencers has challenged traditional marketing strategies, compelling brands to rethink their
approach and tap into the power of influencer collaborations. The dynamic relationship between
Indian consumers and beauty influencers continues to develop in this constantly changing
environment, providing an exciting future for the beauty sector. The influence exerted by beauty
influencers is a subject of substantial interest in the dynamic field of marketing beauty products to
discerning Indian consumers. This study sets out on a thorough investigation with two primary
objectives. Firstly, we aim to assess the association between the frequency of exposure to beauty
influencer content and the purchase decisions of beauty products among consumers. In doing so, we
intend to determine how much these influences affect Indian customers' purchasing decisions in the
beauty industry. Secondly, our research identifies underlying factors influencing Indian consumers'
preferences for beauty products promoted by influencers. By applying statistical tests such as the chi-
square test and factor analysis, we aim to understand the complex relationship of factors that define
this area of study. Our objective is driven by the desire to share insightful knowledge about the
complex world of beauty marketing in India, where tradition and modernity collide and influencers
play a key role in influencing the narratives around beauty choices.

LUMINESCENCE PROPERTIES DY :RBGD(WO4)2 WHITE PHOSPHORS
Abstract
A series of Dy3+ doped RbGd(WO4)2 (RGW) phosphors were synthesized by sol gel method
using citric acid as chelator and ethylene glycol as binder. Phase formation, surface morphology
and luminescent properties of the phosphors were studied using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD),
scanning electron microscope (SEM) and fluorescence spectrophotometry respectively. XRD
pattern of high temperature calcined samples match well with the standard JCPDS card no- 45-
0472 (isostructural to KY(WO4)2) which confirms the formation of monoclinic RGW with space
group C2/c. Particles with plate like morphology along with secondary particles on surface were
observed. Excitation spectrum of the Dy3+:RGW phosphors shows a broader band at the lower
wavelength region due to the charge transfer band of O2-→Dy3+ and O2-→W6+ transitions which
are overlapped with each other and sharper excitation peaks at the higher wavelength region due
to the f-f transition bands of the Dy3+ ions. In emission spectrum, strong peak at 574 nm for electric
dipole 4F9/2 → 6H15/2 transition and relatively weak peak at 487 nm for magnetic dipole 4F9/2 →
6
H13/2 transition was observed. Also, the effects of Dy3+ doping concentration on the crystal
structure and luminescence properties of the Dy3+:RGW phosphors were investigated in detail.
The CIE chromaticity coordinates for the phosphors was evaluated (x=0.347, y=0.387) and the
values are closer to the standard values designed for white phosphor (x=0.333, y=0.333).

Abstract
Consider a scenario involving a Batch Arrival Retrial G-queue featuring non-persistent
customers. In this setup, when a batch of customers arrives and discovers that the server is available,
one customer from the batch receives immediate service, while the others are directed to an orbit for
subsequent service. Conversely, if the server is occupied, all arriving customers are directed to the
orbit. The service process administered by the server unfolds in two distinct phases. The initial phase
entails providing an essential service required for all arriving customers. The subsequent phase
encompasses M stages of sequential services, where each stage (indexed as i=1, 2, 3, ..., M) comprises
ki distinct optional services of varying types. During the second phase, customers retain the flexibility
to exit the system after completing service at any stage. Furthermore, customers have the option to
balk, refusing service due to prolonged queues, or renege, choosing to leave the queue after a waiting
period. The entrance of a negative customer disrupts the service of a positive customer, triggering
immediate server repair. This repair process begins promptly. In instances when the server is idle, it
may choose to embark on a single vacation with a certain probability or remain idle within the system,
with the complementary probability. Upon concluding the vacation period, the server has the option
to search for customers currently in the orbit. Employing the supplementary variable technique, the
steady-state distribution of queue sizes, the expected queue length, and the anticipated system size
concerning the number of customers in the orbit are derived. Additionally, the various reliability
metrics for the system and delve into specific cases are computed. Also, numerical findings that
illustrate the influence of different parameters on the system's behaviour are presented. Finally, the
cost optimization analysis using particle swarm optimization algorithm is performed. This model
finds applications in various fields, including call centers, manufacturing, healthcare systems, and
public transportation, offering valuable insights for optimizing customer service, resource allocation,
and system performance.

Abstract
Heart disease continues to be a pressing global health issue, necessitating the development
of innovative and accurate predictive models for early detection and intervention. In this research,
we introduce a unique strategy for heart disease prediction that harnesses the synergistic capabilities
of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) and the Random Forest algorithm. Our dataset comprises
critical patient information, including age, gender, cholesterol levels, blood pressure readings, and
family medical history. This dataset is subjected to meticulous preprocessing to address missing data,
standardize numerical features, and encode categorical variables effectively. Our study commences
by training a Random Forest classifier on the preprocessed dataset. We opt for Random Forest due
to its adeptness at handling diverse data types and intricate feature interactions. We also extract
feature importance scores from the Random Forest model to uncover the key determinants of heart
disease prediction. Concurrently, we construct and train an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) using
the same dataset. The ANN architecture is thoughtfully designed, encompassing multiple layers,
neurons, and appropriate activation functions. We optimize the ANN's performance using
binary cross-entropy as the loss function and a well-suited optimizer. Both the Random Forest and
ANN models undergo rigorous evaluation using an independent testing dataset, where we employ
diverse metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and ROC AUC. We critically assess
the models, considering their performance and computational requirements. To amplify the
predictive accuracy and robustness of our heart disease prediction system, we introduce an ensemble
approach that amalgamates the predictions of the Random Forest and ANN models. This ensemble
capitalizes on the inherent diversity in modeling techniques to provide more accurate and reliable
predictions.Throughout our research, we meticulously fine-tune the hyperparameters of both models
to extract their optimal performance. Additionally, we employ cross-validation techniques to gauge
the models' generalization capabilities and mitigate overfitting risks. The final ensemble model,
which combines the interpretability of Random Forest with the intricate pattern recognition
capabilities of ANNs, demonstrates superior predictive accuracy. This hybrid model offers significant
promise for the early detection of heart disease, with potential applications in clinical practice for
risk assessment and timely intervention. In conclusion, our research introduces an innovative
approach to heart disease prediction, showcasing the effectiveness of an ensemble model that
synergizes Random Forest and ANN algorithms. This collaborative approach yields a resilient and
precise predictive tool that has the potential to revolutionize early heart disease diagnosis and
management, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and public health.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global health issue that is also the root cause of many
other disorders and has a high morbidity and mortality rate. People sometimes don't notice
CKD because there aren't any obvious negative symptoms in its early stages. If the disease is
detected early, patients can receive the appropriate treatment to accelerate its progression. Due to
their rapid and precise recognition execution, machine learning models can successfully assist
medical professionals in achieving this objective. I recommend using logistic regression to diagnose
chronic kidney disease in this evaluation. To get the best precision, proposed calculations like NAVE
BAYES, Choice TREE, KSTAR, LOGISITIC, and SVM are looked at. AI storage without a lot of
features. Patients may miss a few estimates for a variety of reasons, so missing attributes are
frequently discovered in clinical situations. I developed a perceptron-based integrated model that
combines estimated relapse and irregular woodlands by dissecting the errors made by the setup
models. Consequently, I hypothesized that disease detection using more complex clinical data might
benefit from this concept.

Abstract
Ethiopia is one of the landlocked countries in Africa. The country developed dry ports for
adequate supply chain routines for end-to-end speedy trade facilitation, to increase the
competitiveness of local products, and to increase economic development. Hence, the objective of
this study was to investigate the challenges of dry port management and its effects on import goods
clearance. Both descriptive and explanatory research designs were employed and used both
qualitative and quantitative research approaches. Stratified random sampling was used as a sampling
technique. The primary data was collected from importers, importer agents, and employees. A total
of 174 questionnaires were distributed, of which 162 (93.1%) were returned and 12 (6.9%) were not
returned. From the collected questionnaires, 2 (1.15%) were discarded because the data on the
questionnaires was not correctly filled out. Hence, the analysis and interpretation of the respondent’s
opinions were carried out based on 160 (91.95%) of the returned questionnaires. The data were filled
out using the five-point Likert scale, while Crobbach’s alpha was used to check the reliability of the
measurement scale. The relationship between independent variables (dry port management
challenges) and dependent variables (import goods clearance) is cross-checked using the Pearson
correlation matrix. The data was analyzed using SPSS and Excel, and the findings were presented in
a table, graph, and chart. To predict import goods from dry port management challenges, multiple
linear regression models were adopted. The analysis indicated that the independent variables
explained 92.5% of the import goods clearance process. Physical infrastructures, staff competence,
warehouse conditions, and importer behavior have the greatest positive influence, whereas all
independent variables have a significant impact on import goods clearance. The result of the analysis
indicated that there are major challenges to woreta dry port management. Based on the findings of
the study, it is recommended that we recruit skilled manpower, prepare work-related training, invest
in modern dry port physical infrastructure, and raise the awareness of importers to collect their
containers on time. Thus, further research needs to be conducted to address other challenges of dry
port management that affect dry port performance. This research study on woreta Dry Port and future
research studies will consider other dry ports in the country.

Abstract
The study of particles, be it at the scale of atoms and molecules or that of quarks and leptons,
is at the root of our understanding of the universe. Yet, the interaction of multiple microscopic
particles, each with its properties, in a complex macroscopic system is best left to statistical models
rather than individual equations. This has been historically developed by attempts to understand
colliding gases and quantifying quantities like entropy, free energy, and other thermodynamic
quantities. An important contribution to statistical physics was by Boltzmann in the form of the H-
theorem, which considered collisions between particles and used the assumption of molecular chaos
or Stosszahlansatz to understand macroscopic irreversibility. To elucidate these ideas, Mark Kac
introduced a classical analog called Kac rings. A ’Kac Ring’ consists of sites distributed uniformly
around a rotating ring, with balls of one of two colours- black or white- occupying the sites. One site
is marked by a pointer, passing which the balls switch their colour. After each time step, the ring
rotates one step in the clockwise direction, and the balls occupy the adjacent site. After a certain time
period (two complete rotations of the ring), the colours of the balls in all the sites return to their
original state, thus demonstrating a periodic recurrence known as Poincar´e recurrence. The time
taken to demonstrate Poincar´e recurrence in classical Kac rings has been studied extensively. In this
work, we attempt to introduce quantum-ness in a Kac ring and study its recurrence, comparing and
contrasting to corresponding trends in a classical Kac ring.

Deep learning is an important part of machine learning in computer vision, natural language
processing, and image processing. It provides powerful capabilities for self-learning and auto-
debugging compared to traditional machine learning methods. Automated data discovery is a problem
many considered insurmountable five years ago. Now, deep learning has addressed exactly what
happens to humans. It offers solutions to issues that traditional artificial machine learning algorithms
can’t handle and has caught the attention of professionals trying to make sense of the flood of data
currently sweeping our civilization. However, even for highly qualified professionals, approaching
the rapidly expanding body of knowledge that subject managers bring can be difficult. How does it
start? How can one determine if a particular deep learning model is appropriate for their problem?
How is such a network implemented and trained? A good place to start might be to use the original
information about the topic. In this regard, we summarize a few of the most important multilayer
artificial neural networks that integrate deep learning. We also go over some new multi-agent
automated architecture optimization techniques. In addition, we include a section on neural
processing for error detection and subsequent mitigation because ensuring system operation time is
important for many computing applications. They then provide an insightful examination of a number
of application areas where deep learning has become a game-changing technology, including
financial time series forecasting, anomalous behaviour detection in financial applications, forecast
analysis, medicine internal imaging and analysis, and power Plans are also available for analysis. The
main goal of this review is to identify new application-focused research areas in the deep learning
community and develop a simple model for scientists who want to use deep learning for statistical
pattern recognition, excelling for unparalleled learning.

Abstract
This paper offers an eco-critical, post-humanist exploration of Amitav Ghosh's seminal
work, The Living Mountain. In an era marked by escalating ecological crises and a growing
awareness of the interconnections between nature and human societies, Ghosh's text emerges
as a pivotal literary work that calls for a reevaluation of relationship with the natural world. Through
an eco-critical lens, one can examine Ghosh's portrayal of the Himalayan landscape and the
lives intertwined with it, emphasizing the agency of non-human entities and the reciprocal nature of
human-nature interactions. The Living Mountain embodies a post-humanist perspective, decentering
human exceptionalism and inviting readers to recognize nature's intrinsic value and
intelligence. Furthermore, the paper is an attempt to understand the concept of ‘nature disability’ as
in Ghosh's work. Drawing from post-humanist theories, disability studies, and ecological
philosophy, the text elucidates how the imposition of human-defined abilities and limitations on the
natural world constrains the capacity to perceive and appreciate its richness fully. Through an
analysis of Ghosh's narrative techniques, symbolism, and character portrayals, this paper will
illustrate how The Living Mountain prompts readers to embrace a more inclusive, empathetic, and
sustainable relationship with nature. In doing so, Ghosh's text challenges the prevailing
anthropocentric worldview and advocates for a shift towards a more harmonious, post-humanist
coexistence with the natural world. This paper contributes to the ongoing discourse on eco-criticism,
post-humanism, and disability studies by demonstrating how literature can serve as a powerful
medium for reshaping our ecological consciousness and fostering a deeper understanding of the
intricate bonds between humanity and the environment. Ultimately, our analysis of The Living
Mountain underscores the urgency of reimagining the place within the natural world and
acknowledging the rich diversity and agency that exist beyond the boundaries of human perception
and understanding.

No case filed; no charges accused yet I was arrested. I was confined in a prison called Home.
Not my home, my husband’s. Atrocities against women have been voiced over and over yet only the
echoes remain. The word “subaltern” stands as “a name for the general attribute of subordination
in South Asian society whether this is expressed in terms of class, caste, age, gender and office or in
any other way”. The present study attempts a subaltern reading of the movies The Great Indian
Kitchen (2021) and Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022). The Great Indian Kitchen pictures the plight of a
normal woman married off to a traditional Malayalee house hold. The story then enfolds her suffering
in a male chauvinist house. Women are merely seen as humans, enclosed in the four walls of the
house and expected to be available always. Her desire to pursue a job is received with ridicule and
contempt. Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey features the horror and aftermath of a woman trapped in an abusive
marriage. Jaya has always been seen as subaltern by her family members. The saga continues even
after marriage. Her husband slaps her over trivial issues. the study focuses on the status of these
women. Both movies have been impeccable accurate portrayals of the condition of married woman
in Indian households.

Abstract
Ever since its origin, the human race always had an urge for swift and strong movements.
This paper attempts to highlights the human race’s historical drive for swift movements and rapid
communication strategies. When they wanted to move faster, they started traveling on animals. Then
they wanted to move more faster they started using wheels on their legs, then on carts run by animals,
then on motor vehicles on roads and finally on air. When it is about moving through water also, he
made inventions and later innovations on these inventions. The very urge for swift and strong
movement was found in communication also. They started writing letters to make distances shorter.
Post cards took the role of shorter communication. They started communication over wired telephone
lines which progressed to wireless communication in no time. Video communications made it
stronger. When it came to literary communication, we can see the urge for swift and strong
communication in proverbs which communicated stronger and faster than other literary works like
novel, drama. When it came to visual communication movies, dramas, video communications in the
present century are replaced by reels and shorts which are quick ways of conveying messages in this
fast-paced world. The digital online communications offer different techniques of transferring

This study examines a Markovian queueing system with a single server and an innite capacity
which involves dierentiated vacation with balk ing. In the rst model, a MM1 queue, balking occurs in
every state, but in the second model, balking only happens during vacations. Using the PGF method,
the systems steady state probabilities can be obtained.Dierent performance metrices are analysed.
Numerous real-world sys tems, including computer networks, call centers and manufacturing sys
tems, have applications for the proposed queueing paradigm. Finally, a number of numerical
examples are given to illustrate the behaviour of the dierent model parameters.

Abstract
Perumal Murugan is a highly regarded Tamil author who is known for utilising Kongu Tamil
dialects in his works. A research on the marginalised and their socioeconomic conditions has been
conducted using a few of Murugan's novels, including Seasons of the Palm and Pyre. In an Indian
sociocultural and political context, this essay aims to investigate the complex and unconditional
relationship between members of high and lower castes. This essay's main goal is to demonstrate
how upper-caste Hindus in Indian society have an impact on and drive various individuals. It also
addresses the ways in which upper-caste individuals in various roles dehumanise these laborious,
landless, and lower socially ranked individuals. In his works, Murugan has sensitively explored the
subject of marginalised groups. The novelist's main characters are primarily drawn from
underprivileged social groups who are weak in socio-economic, socio-political, and socio-cultural
facets. Murugan's marginalised characters also experience more hardships because of their caste
and clan. However, the upper caste strata still treats them poorly, takes advantage of them, and makes
murderous attempts due to its dominant mindset.

Abstract
In this paper, we aim to study the consistent behaviour of an M/M/1 queue with an optional
differentiated working vacation. Whenever a busy period is over then the server chooses either
optional I working vacation or optional II working vacation. Customers may refuse to join the queue
if the server is on either optional I working vacation or optional II working vacation. The probability
generating function is used to derive the model's consistent solution. Furthermore, several of the
given model's performance measurements are discussed using explicit expressions. The PSO
algorithm is also used for cost optimization analysis. The effects of parameters are demonstrated
through numerical examples.

Abstract
Mastitis is a common infection in cattle. As a result, the mammary gland of the cattle become
inflamed and become very sensitive for milking and it also cause excessive pain sensation in udder
areas. This cause the animals to feel very uncomfortable, and it leads to infectious condition in
cattle. In our study we examined the milk samples obtained from dairy cows affected by udder disease
in Usilampatti circle, Madurai district. From the Mastitis milk sample we isolated three
microorganisms Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pseudomonas was found in abundance. These
microorganisms were analysed and studied for Antimicrobial Sensitivity test by using different types
of antibiotics a total of 13 Antibiotics were selected and used. Among these antibiotics Amikacin
shows very effective against Streptococcus and Staphylococcus. Pseudomonas was highly sensitive
for Kanamycin. Based on these results we concluded these two antibiotics are more effective in
Mastitis Control measures.

Abstract
This article studies a repairble M/G/1 retrial queueing model with set up times. The server
will be closed when the system is empty and to reduce operating cost. When a new customer arrives
then only the system will be active. The customer who activates, the server will be entered the retrial
orbit waiting to reapply for service. During the busy period, the server will be break down and we
will obtain the steady state probability by using the probability generating function method. Some
performance measures are derived and the results are well known, queuing models are deduced. The
stochastic decomposition property of the system, size distribution is analysed. To find the minimum
cost of the system and the cost function is established. In addition we study the effects of some
parameters on the cost by numerical examples.

In this article, we investigate a system composed of two integral equations and a functional
equation and demonstrate the existence of a solution using the concept of Feng-Liu type coupled
rational contraction. This concept is motivated by the findings of previous works Feng and Liu and
Bhaskar et al. To achieve our objective, we establish the existence of a fixed point for this coupled
type of contraction, satisfying a cyclic admissible condition. Additionally, we introduce two different
types of continuity: (α, β)-continuity and (α, β)-lower semi-continuity of a function. These notions are
crucial in proving our results under distinct sets of conditions. The focus of our work lies primarily
in the domain of nonlinear set-valued analysis. To illustrate our findings, we present an example that
exemplifies the application of our results in practice. In Section 2 we prove the existence of coupled
fixed point of generalized contraction under two different sets of conditions. In Section 3, we give
some related corollaries and give an example to support our main theorem. In last two sections, we
establish the existence of solutions for system of nonlinear integral equations and functional equation
using our main result.

Abstract
In today's world, urbanization has led to a significant increase in the amount of municipal
solid waste being produced. This waste has a negative impact on our daily lives, the environment,
and our social and ecological health. Waste disposal has therefore become a major issue worldwide.
To address this problem, this paper proposes an innovative waste disposal method that aligns with
the development direction of the Dream CITY a software application that supports sustainable
development strategies. Cleanliness is a fundamental goal for everyone. The Dream CITY
application aims to help society achieve this by allowing individuals to report contaminated garbage
to the relevant authorities with accompanying pictures. The location of the contaminated waste is
automatically pinned to avoid false information. This paper presents an initiative that can help turn
the dream of a cleaner society into a reality.

Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) pose a significant challenge in modern healthcare, affecting patient
safety and treatment outcomes. We define an adverse drug reaction as “an appreciably harmful or
unpleasant reaction, resulting from an intervention related to the use of a medicinal product, which
predicts hazards from future administration and warrants prevention or specific treatment, or
alteration of the dosage regimen, or withdrawal of the product. Such reactions are currently reported
by the use of WHO’s ADR terminology, which will eventually become a subset of the International
classification of Disease. ADR are classified into six types (with mnemonics): dose-related
(Augmented), non-dose-related (Bizarre), dose-related and time-related (Chronic), time-related
(Delayed), withdrawal (End of use) and failure of the therapy (Failure). ADR can result from various
factors, including individual patient characteristics (such as genetics or pre-existing conditions),
interaction with other medications or substances, dosage errors, or idiosyncratic responses. They
can
manifest in diverse ways, affecting different organ systems. Healthcare professionals play a critical
role in monitoring ADR’s. They should be vigilant in recognizing and reporting these reactions, as
well as educating patients about potential risks associated with prescribed medications. This review
article serves as a comprehensive resource for healthcare practitioners, researchers and policy-
makers, highlighting the intricate relationship between ADR’s, therapeutic guidelines and the
reporting process. A better understanding of these interconnections is essential to enhancing patient
safety and optimize drug therapies and advance pharmacovigilance effort in modern healthcare
systems.

Abstract
Transgender Studies has witnessed significant growth in recent decades, exploring the
identity concerns of individuals who defy society's binary norms while addressing the social and
economic challenges faced by transgender individuals. These efforts often focus on their endeavours
to achieve empowerment and self-realization through activism. However, there remains a critical gap
in the comprehensive exploration of healthcare challenges experienced by transgender individuals,
necessitating a deeper understanding to combat associated stigmas. In light of the emergence of
Health Humanities, there is an urgent need to shed light on the health issues confronted by this
marginalized group. Joanne Trautmann Banks, the first literature scholar to join a medical school's
faculty in 1972, underscores the value of this approach in her influential essay, "The Wonders of
Literature in Medical Education." She argues that imparting comprehensive reading skills equates
to medical training. This research, viewed through a Health Humanities lens, seeks to enhance our
comprehension of transgender health experiences, offering invaluable insights for healthcare
practitioners, policymakers, and scholars. It emphasizes the pivotal roles of empathy, cultural
sensitivity, and patient narratives in advancing healthcare for marginalized communities, ultimately
advocating for a more inclusive and equitable healthcare system.

Abstract
This report explores the induction of magnetism in a topological insulator (TI) through
exchange coupling with a ferromagnetic insulator (FMI), disrupting the time-reversal symmetry of
topological surface states and opening doors to novel magneto-electric effects. The selection of
suitable FMI materials is critical for forming heterojunctions, yet this task remains challenging, with
only a limited number of materials investigated. The report introduces epitaxial LaCoO3 thin films
on a SrTiO3 substrate, an insulating ferromagnet with a Curie temperature (TC) of approximately
85 K. These LaCoO3 films are combined with prototype topological insulator, Bi2Se3, grown
successfully on the (001) surface of LaCoO3/SrTiO3. This results in a high-quality TI/FMI
heterostructure with a well-defined interface.Magnetic and transport measurements reveal the
emergence of a ferromagnetic phase in Bi2Se3 films, accompanied by induced magnetic moments
and a reduction in the weak antilocalization effect. Remarkably, the carrier mobility of intrinsic
Bi2Se3 films remains intact. Furthermore, the observation of an anomalous Hall effect signal persists
at temperatures above 100 K, suggesting potential applications in the field of spintronics devices. This
work highlights the promising prospects of leveraging LaCoO3/SrTiO3 as an effective platform for
inducing magnetism in topological insulators and exploring their intriguing magneto-electric
properties.

Burke Ernzerhof (PBE) exchange-correlation functional of Generalized Gradient Approximation
(GGA), is reported. The findings show that both compounds are in a stable form with a cubic
structure. The calculated elastic constants also meet the mechanical stability criteria. For these
compounds, the structure of type is the most stable and their ferromagnetic phases are more stable
rather than their antiferromagnetic or nonmagnetic phases. This structure contain four
interpenetrating fcc sub lattice. Out of which, two belongs to same element. A special class of
materials described by heusler is lie at the edge of compounds and alloys, but combining the features

Abstract
Polycystic ovary syndrome is one of the most common endocrine disorders, affecting about
5-15% of women of reproductive age. The condition is characterised by oligo-ovulation or
anovulation, biochemical or clinical hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovaries. According to the
Rotterdam consensus from 2003, the presence of two of three of these criteria fulfils a diagnosis of
polycystic ovary syndrome. The cause of polycystic ovary syndrome is not fully understood, but
evidence of a genetic component has been recognised in family and twin studies. In the present study
we found that women with polycystic ovary syndrome were slightly older than women without
polycystic ovary syndrome. Advanced maternal age is strongly correlated with many of the adverse
pregnancy outcomes in this study; however, although we adjusted for maternal age in the multivariate
analysis, a residual effect could still be possible. Women with polycystic ovary syndrome were more
often obese and more commonly used assisted reproductive technology than women without such a
diagnosis (61.5% ʋ 35.2% and 14.1% ʋ 1.8%). In conclusion, women with polycystic ovary syndrome
are at increased risk of adverse pregnancy and perinatal outcomes, which could not be explained by
assisted reproductive technology. These women may need increased surveillance during pregnancy
and parturition. Future research would benefit from focusing on glucose control, medical treatment,
and hormonal status among women with polycystic ovary syndrome during pregnancy.

Abstract
Presently, chromosome count and male meiotic course have been studied on population basis for five
plant species belonging to four genera of three monocot families, i.e., Alismataceae, Araceae and Butomaceae
from unexplored localities of Kangra valley and Kashmir region. Detailed cytological studies have been
performed on young floral buds of plant species through standard smearing technique by using 1%
acetocarmine. Photomicrographs of pollen mother cells have been taken from freshly prepared slides for spore
analysis. During cytological studies, a tetraploid cytotype (2n=52) has been cytologically worked out for the
first time for species Arisaema utile of family Araceae and a new chromosome report at tetraploid level
(2n=28) has been added for species Alisma plantago-aquatica of family Alismataceae on India level.
Additionally, diploid cytotype (2n=14) of A. plantago-aquatica from Kangra valley reported to have 0-1B
chromosome on world level. All the plant species have been cytologically worked out for the first time from
study area. Meiotic course is variable among all the populations of four species except one species, Arisaema
utile which shows perfectly normal meiosis. The chromosome number and cytological studies for species act
as a powerful tool to describe genome structure and evolution for particular species.

Abstract
The term ‘marginalization’ is widely used, but the term does not have a clear definition. It refers
to the state of being excluded from a community or society. The reasons for such exclusions may vary
from gender, caste, economic status, etc.Transgender are the most neglected of all the marginalized
community. Transgender differs from men and women not only biologically, but by the social and
psychological construction as well. The existence of transgender dates back to the mythological period.
They exist in everynation, race and culture. Transgender were associated with Godin the Indian
mythology. Lord Vishnu is said to have taken the incarnation of ‘Mohini’, the transwoman. Though the
blessings of transgender are said to have some auspicious power, they are not provided with due respect
and consideration as human beings in the contemporary society. In countries like India, where even
women were treated as secondary creatures, the plight of transgender is still bleak. The third gender
or trans gender are treated with discrimination in India. In addition to the derogatory treatment in the
society, the transgender had to fight hard against social discrimination, verbal abuse, sexual violence
and exploitation. This paper is a study of the autobiographical work of an Indian trans woman namely
‘Living Smile Vidya’ who is a Dalit. In her autobiographical memoir, “I am Vidya: A Transgender's
Journey”, Smiley has shared the excruciating pain of being a trans woman and how she struggled to
get an identity of her own. She narrates her story from being spurned by her family, to begging on the
streets as a social outcast, from donning a woman's clothes, to undergoing excruciating pain of
undergoing surgery to lose her 'manhood' and to attain ‘womanhood’, from suffering emotional and
physical harassment, to arriving at her true identity. She has suffered both physically and
psychologically. Despite her sufferings, through her perseverance and effort, she has now reached a
respectable place in the society. And her story is the representation of all hijras in India. Vidya’s story
is an inspiration to the downtrodden and the marginalized.

Abstract
The assessment of two reagents, hydroxyl ammonium hydrochloride (HAHCl) and sodium
hydroxide (NaOH) solvents, for the absorption of NOx gas emissions is the subject of this paper's
experimental findings. The effectiveness in removing NOx and the capability for absorption of these
two solvents are contrasted. According to test findings, under the operating conditions used in this
research, HAHCl solvent has a higher absorption capacity and a better efficiency at removing NOx
than NaOH solvent. The solvent HAHCl can reach a maximal NOx removal efficiency of 68.30%.
Contrarily, under the same working circumstances tested by HAHCl solvent the maximum NOx
removal efficiency and by NaOH solvent are 49.99% respectively. Additionally, compared to the
NaOH absorbtion process the temperature rises brought on by exothermic reactions in the HAHCl
process are less. This suggests that the energy needed to regenerate the HAHCl reagent should be
lower than the energy needed to regenerate the NaOH reagent.
