CREATE PEER-TO-PEER

 At Server
o Go to Network/Properties
o Click wireless or LAN network connection
o Click Network Connection Properties
o Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)/Properties
o Set-up IP Address of server
o IP Address: 192.168.1.2
o Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
o Preferred DNS: 192.168.1.3
o OK

 At Client
o Do the same you did at the server in the client but change the IP address to:
o 192.168.1.3
o Turn off the firewall of the both PC
o Ping IP to see each PC

CONFIGURE SERVER
ADDS (Active Directory Domain Services)
o Set computer names on server and client
o Add roles/right-click add roles
o Next
o Click ADDS
o Add required features (if newly formatted)

o Close
 At Start (search)
o Type dcpromo to locate the file
o Click dcpromo you will see welcome words

CREATE USER AT SERVER
 Go to Server Manager
o Roles
o +ADDS
o +ADS as Computer
o +RESPSCI.gov.ph
o Right click/new/click organizational unit
o Type RESPSCIOU
o OK
o Right click RESPSCIOU/new/user
o Fill-up at user 1 (info)
o Next
o Click Password never expires
o Set password: Admin1974
o Confirm password
o Next
o Finish (won't finish if password does not meet the requirements (alphanumeric
o +symbols+number)
o Close all

FILE SHARING
o Start button/Computer/enter drive D:\ Create folder
o Name: RESPSCidata
o Right click RESPSC/data/properties/sharing/share
o At file sharing-everyone/add
o At Everyone-change to Read/write
o Share
o Done
o At RESPSCidata properties
o Highlights networks patch
o Copy server (computer name)
o Close all

GROUP POLICY
 Start button/Administrative tools/click group policy management
 Forest
o +forest: www.RESPSCI.gov.ph
o +domains
o +www.RESPSCI.gov.ph
o +RESPSCI (organizational unit)
o Right click
o Create GPO in this domain and link
o Create new (no symbols)
o Ex: RESPSCIGPO
o Ok
o Locate at +RESPSCI
o RESPSCIGPO (right click/edit to redirect folder for the file sharing)
o GMP editor
o Go to (-) user configuration
o +policies
o +windows settings
o +folder redirection

o Desktop properties

 Desktop-right click properties


o Settings: Basic-Redirect everyone folder to the same location
o Paste the network path (computer name of server copied lately) at root path
o Apply

AT CLIENT:
o Start button/log off/switch user/other user/type user1
o Enter username: Client
o Password: Admin1974
o Create folder to network to server

AT SERVER
o Go to my computer/locate folder at RESPSC/data2
o Client/desktop/security permission dialog box/ click continue
o Click security tab
o Desktop properties
o Continue
o Click administrator
o Apply

o Click desktop/open/continue (must show now folder from client on the server
monitor)
o Add folder at server (this must show to the client desktop or document)

REMOTE ACCESS

o +IPv4/New scope/address leases (this time the access point will give wifi IP. Reset
10 if no new IP given for 30sec)

 At start button: type dcpromo/click
