1. Time management - 3 hours, 90 minutes


a. - Implies that you have to write at a pace of 2 minutes per mark
b. Concern is that you'll have not physically written an assessment on paper
i. Require that you attempt assignment 1 and 2 on paper at home and mark the attempt
1) DO - write out the responses in full sentences
2) DO NOT -use slang or mobile whats-app language
2. Knowledge gaps
a. Lack of understanding regarding requirements
i. DO NOT describe theory,
1) Eg Assignment 1 -

Quality of detail in the extracts of the project charter ( Scope; risks, etc)

he main aim or an objective of a project is to assist the underprivileged citizens in KZN. Project vision: Mentorship is
the key motivation on costs, must be within a disbursed of R20000. Project objectives: 1. Hire 25 final year students
from DUT as mentors. 2. Procure raw materials and assist with equipment purchase using the R20000 funding. 3.
Pay each student a small stipend of R3000 per month for a minimum of 2 months. 4. Fill out daily mentorship report
to monitor the performance of my team members

ii. Feasibility
See textbook, lectures, etc feasibility study - consider whether or not project can be done (feasibility). Consider,
how to access funds, consider costs, manpower, laws and regulations, market analysis, etc
iii. Items outside of scope
These relate to circumstances or events that are not going to be addressed by the project. these items are not in
the project, eg Job offers. Your project will not offer a learner a job,
iv. Completion criteria
Completion criteria are the events or tasks per milestone that indicate that the project has been completed.
v. Risk assessment
Identify and describe the risk, assess likelihood of the risk materializing and the suggest mitigation strategy if
likelihood is high. Answer in a tabular format.
