SUBJECT TEACHER: MR.RED AREVALO

OBJECTIVES:

2. Learners are able to understand the consequences of their actions
3. Learners able to realize that all actions have consequences

Consequentialism holds that all actions have consequences and that the ultimate basis for
any judgement of rightness and wrongness of a conduct or action is the consequence.
Basic Principle of Consequentialism
1. The rightness or wrongness of an action depends on the results of an action.
2. The more good an act produces the better or more right it is.

ACTIVITY:
Learners will have to do the following activity for blended learning:
1. In a 1 whole sheet of Paper:
Write a 500 to 1000-word essay about the possible consequences of drugs in a
person’s life and to the whole society.
2. What could possibly happen if we disobey the School rules and regulations?
Disregarding school rules and regulations can lead to a range of consequences, from
immediate penalties to long-term effects on academic and personal development. Schools
establish rules not to stifle creativity or individuality but to create a conducive learning
environment and ensure everyone's safety. By ignoring these guidelines, students may face
challenges affecting their education, relationships, and future opportunities.

Immediate consequences of breaking school rules include disciplinary action. Schools set
rules to maintain order and a safe learning environment. Actions like cheating, bullying, or
vandalism can result in detention, suspension, or expulsion. These measures aim not only
to address the behavior but also to deter others. Disobedience can strain relationships with
teachers, administrators, and peers, creating a negative atmosphere hindering the learning
experience.

Disobeying rules can negatively impact academic performance. Consistent disregard for
guidelines can make it difficult to focus on studies, limiting future opportunities for higher
education and career advancement. Colleges and employers may scrutinize disciplinary
records during applications, and a history of rule violations can raise concerns about an
individual's character and ability to work in a structured environment.

Beyond immediate consequences, disobedience can shape a student's character and

attitude towards authority. Those who repeatedly defy rules may develop a sense of
entitlement or rebellion that persists into adulthood, affecting their ability to work
collaboratively and maintain healthy relationships.

Social consequences are another aspect of disobedience. Students may find themselves
isolated from peers, as others hesitate to associate with disruptors. This isolation can lead
to loneliness and a lack of belonging, negatively impacting overall well-being. A reputation
gained from rule violations can follow an individual, making it challenging to rebuild trust
with teachers and peers.
In the long term, the consequences extend to future opportunities and career prospects.
Educational institutions and employers value individuals with integrity, responsibility, and
discipline. A track record of disobedience may cast doubt on these qualities, limiting access
to scholarships, job opportunities, and personal growth.

In conclusion, disobeying school rules has consequences beyond immediate disciplinary

actions. From impacting academic performance to influencing social relationships and future
opportunities, the effects can be profound. It is crucial for students to recognize the
importance of adhering to school rules for their own growth and success. Understanding
and respecting guidelines contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment
benefiting everyone involved.

immediate and long-term, affecting academic and personal development. Schools establish
rules not to stifle creativity but to create a conducive learning environment and ensure
safety. Ignoring these guidelines can result in disciplinary measures like detention or

Moreover, breaking school rules can harm academic performance, hindering future
educational and career opportunities. Colleges and employers often consider disciplinary
records during applications. Continuous rule violations may shape a student's character
negatively, fostering a rebellious attitude that can persist into adulthood, affecting
professional and personal relationships.

Socially, disobedience can lead to isolation as peers may distance themselves from
disruptive individuals. This social isolation can contribute to feelings of loneliness and
negatively impact overall well-being. Additionally, a reputation for rule violations can affect
trust and relationships with teachers and peers, making it challenging to rebuild.

In the long term, the consequences extend to future opportunities and career prospects.
Educational institutions and employers value integrity, responsibility, and discipline. A
history of disobedience may cast doubt on an individual's ability to uphold these qualities,
limiting access to scholarships and job opportunities.

In conclusion, disregarding school rules has far-reaching consequences beyond immediate

disciplinary actions. It is essential for students to recognize the importance of adhering to
rules for their own growth and success. Understanding and respecting school guidelines
contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment, benefiting everyone involved

Disobeying school rules and regulations can have a myriad of consequences, ranging from
immediate repercussions to long-term effects on one's academic and personal
development. Schools establish rules and regulations not to stifle creativity or individuality
but to create a conducive environment for learning and ensure the safety and well-being of
all students. By disregarding these guidelines, students may find themselves facing various
challenges that could impact their education, relationships, and future opportunities.

One of the immediate consequences of disobeying school rules is disciplinary action.

Schools have established a set of rules to maintain order and create a safe learning
environment. Disrupting this environment through actions such as cheating, bullying, or
vandalism can lead to consequences such as detention, suspension, or even expulsion.
These punitive measures are not only meant to address the specific behavior but also to
deter others from engaging in similar actions. In the short term, disobedience can lead to
strained relationships with teachers, administrators, and peers, creating a negative
atmosphere that hinders the learning experience.

Furthermore, disobeying school rules can have a detrimental impact on academic

performance. Students who consistently disregard guidelines may find it challenging to
focus on their studies and participate in classroom activities. The resulting decline in
academic achievement can limit future opportunities for higher education and career
advancement. Colleges and employers often look at a student's disciplinary record as part
of the application process, and a history of rule violations can raise red flags about an
individual's character and ability to work within a structured environment.
Beyond the immediate consequences, disobedience can also shape a student's character
and attitude towards authority. Those who repeatedly defy rules may develop a sense of
entitlement or rebellion that can persist into adulthood. This can affect their ability to work
collaboratively in a professional setting and may lead to difficulties in maintaining healthy
relationships. Learning to respect and adhere to rules during the formative years in school is
crucial for developing the discipline and responsibility necessary for success in various
aspects of life.

Social consequences are another aspect of disobedience in schools. Students who

consistently disobey rules may find themselves isolated from their peers, as others may be
hesitant to associate with individuals who disrupt the social fabric of the school community.
This isolation can contribute to feelings of loneliness and a lack of belonging, negatively
impacting a student's overall well-being. Additionally, the reputation gained from a history of
rule violations can follow an individual throughout their academic journey, making it difficult
to rebuild trust and establish positive relationships with teachers and peers.

In the long term, the consequences of disobeying school rules can extend to future
opportunities and career prospects. Many educational institutions and employers value
individuals who demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and discipline. A
track record of disobedience can cast doubt on an individual's ability to uphold these
qualities, potentially limiting their access to scholarships, job opportunities, and other
avenues for personal and professional growth.

In conclusion, disobeying school rules and regulations can have far-reaching consequences
that go beyond the immediate disciplinary actions. From impacting academic performance
and personal development to influencing social relationships and future opportunities, the
effects of disobedience can be profound and lasting. It is crucial for students to recognize
the importance of adhering to school rules not only for the sake of avoiding punishment but
for their own growth and success in various aspects of life. By understanding and respecting
the guidelines set by educational institutions, students can contribute to the creation of a
positive and supportive learning environment that benefits everyone involved
