VERB TO BE

O verbo to be é usado para descrever estados e identidades, ou seja: é


equivalente aos verbos ser e estar no português. O verbo to be é
conjugado de três formas: am, is e are.

Para formar uma frase negativa, acrescente “not” após o verbo to be.

Para formular uma pergunta, o verbo to be deve ir para a frente do sujeito.

Nos dois casos o número zero pode ser dito como “ôu” (a pronúncia
da letra “o” em inglês).
