Week 2 - Boolean Algebra

Boolean algebra defines operations on binary variables including AND, OR, and NOT. It has axioms like identity and annihilation and properties such as commutativity, associativity, absorption, and DeMorgan's laws. Boolean functions can be expressed in sum-of-products form, as logic gates, or in hardware description languages like Verilog. Common gates include AND, OR, NAND, NOR, and XOR. Boolean algebra provides a mathematical foundation for digital circuit design and analysis.
