Career Life Connections is a required course for graduation, throughout the term students worked on many
assignments/projects, with the largest being the Capstone Presentation, worth 25% of their final grade.

The student has achieved a proficient in this course. They have demonstrated a complete understanding of the concepts
and competencies covered in this course and have continued to improve their skills. The student makes good use of class
time to complete assignments and stays on task during written work.

Vandon is a very capable student who needs to push himself harder to work at his full potential. He needs to spend more
time studying and reviewing for tests and quizzes. He should also take advantage of rewriting quizzes to improve his
scores. He has developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. He is encouraged to speak more often during
conversations to practice his speaking. Increased effort and studying will lead to better results.

This is the final mark for Chef Co-op, Specialized Studies in Foods. During this course, students learned, and perfected
knife skills, organization, time management, working with many different people, meal planning, recipe searches, food
safety, running a "pop-up" bakery business (design process, coming up with a theme, finding recipes, planning/timing,
bakery name, marketing flyers, costing). Students skills grew in the school kitchen as they completed the work experience
component of the Chef Co-op.

The student has achieved a proficient in this course. They have demonstrated a complete understanding of the concepts
and competencies covered in this course and have continued to improve their skills. The student makes good use of class
time to complete assignments and stays on task during written and lab work. They can continue to work on taking
leadership in their lab group and communicating effectively with their peers.

In this course, we have explored the historical benchmarks and communicating learning through written responses,
projects, discussions, and ample formative tasks.

Vandon has demonstrated an emerging level of skills in this course through formative and summative tasks and their
application of the historical benchmarks. It is evident that Vandon enjoyed this course and had prior knowledge about topics
that were discussed. However, Vandon had some challenges in terms of productivity and meeting deadlines. Overall,
Vandon was receptive to feedback for personal growth, and focused on their time management to complete summative
tasks to show their understanding and connecting to topics discussed in this course.

This is the final grade for the students Work Experience course. This was a 100 hour Work Experience where students
attended their job placements when their blocks hit the afternoon schedule. Student achieved developing/proficient in this
course. They attended regularly, completed assigned tasks on time and grew in skill level based on teacher visits and
employer feedback. Future goals for student would be staying focused, not getting distracted and learning to find work to
do when their assigned work is complete.

So far in this semester, we have examined how to create, interpret, and critique graphs, how to analyze data with central
tendency, and how to convert different metric and imperial measurements. Vandon has demonstrated an overall proficient
level of understanding of the material covered so far. Although they may occasionally need clarification at times, the
student is independently able to apply flexible and strategic approaches when solving problems. Continued regular practice
of the material can help maintain and/or improve their grade in the second half of this course. Keep up the good work!
