ASSIGNMENT QUESTION
Part I
PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to conduct a market
analysis . Learners are also required to make recommendations on how marketers can
use the Internet, customer database and customer relationship management (CRM) to
conduct their business.
REQUIREMENT
Select ONE industry in Malaysia, such as automotive, telecommunications, retail,
banking, education etc. Conduct a market analysis for your chosen industry. From
your analysis, you will be required to consider the following factors:
i) What are the major competitors, market share and reputation of your selected
industry?
ii) What are the distribution strategies and product offerings ?
iii) What are the changes in business and marketing practices in your selected
industry due to technology ?
Based on your findings, what are your recommendations to the marketers in the
selected industry on how to use the Internet, customer database and customer
relationship management (CRM) to conduct their business?

Tujuan tugasan ini adalah untuk membangunkan keupayaan pelajar untuk menjalankan
analisis pasaran. Pelajar juga dikehendaki membuat cadangan-cadangan tentang cara
pemasar-pemasar boleh menggunakan Internet, pangkalan data pelanggan dan
pengurusan perhubungan pelanggan (CRM) untuk menjalankan perniagaan mereka.
KEPERLUAN
Pilih SATU industri di Malaysia, seperti automotif, telekomunikasi, peruncitan,
perbankan, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Jalankan satu analisis pasaran untuk industri pilihan
anda. Daripada analisis anda, anda akan dikehendaki mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor
berikut:

ii) Apakah strategi-strategi pengedaran dan penawaran produk?
