Secure a complete copy of the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST)
from the website of the Department of Education by searching for DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2017
including its attachment. Print and keep this document as one the valuable references as you
continue your journey to finish your degree and in your teaching career.

Task 2: Compare the Competency Framework for Teachers in Southeast dAsia (CFT SEA) and
the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST). Identify at least 10 competencies that
are found in both standards. Make a matrix for your answer along the identified domains.

do you find EASY to master? Why? Which domain seems to be difficult for you to

I find the domain of "Learning Environment" easy to master because creating a conducive
learning space aligns with my communication and organizational skills. The domain of
"Community Linkages" seems challenging as it involves external collaborations, which may
require more experience and networking to navigate effectively.

 "Growth is evidence of life" encapsulates the fundamental principle that living
organisms, be it plants, animals, or humans, exhibit continuous development
and change throughout their lifespan. In the context of life, growth signifies
progress, adaptation, and vitality. It indicates that an entity is alive and
evolving, undergoing physical, intellectual, emotional, or spiritual
advancements. This concept emphasizes the dynamic nature of life,
highlighting that growth is a visible, tangible proof of existence and vitality.
2. “Man/woman is an unfinished project”
 This remark basically says that you are an incomplete project because, well,
humans are adaptable and were meant to develop throughout time for the good
of society and ourselves as individuals.

 Even once we accomplish a certain goal, a person's demands and wants never
end. For this reason, we never really realize self-actualization as we are
always striving for more and more achievements.
