INNOVATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This assignment aims to assess students' ability to create something innovative. Students
are required to find solutions to problems faced by users by using research resources. Do
research on the problems faced by users around you. You need to use things like diagram 1
above in completing your assignment.

Task 1 : Empathize (1 hour)


 Conduct a survey of the problems faced by users.
 Learn about your audience, what problems do the users face?
 Do and Conduct research to understand your users, their wants, and their needs

Task 2 : Define (1 hour + ideation process)


 Construct a point of view based on user needs, define the main problem you want to
solve.
 List down all the Problem Statement
 Do Research, Observe, Understand, and create point of view
 Idea development by using Product research suitable for paper (4 pages of A3 size –
full of idea development sketches)

Task 3 : Brainstorming (1 hour)


 The brainstorming to identify and come up with creative solutions, choose the best
ideas (sketches idea development – 4 pages of A3 paper).
 Choose the best sketches development.

Task 4 : Prototype/Mock-up (2 hour)


 Students need to build a representation of your ideas and a prototype design.
 Using mix material of Recycle Paper, develop actual mock-up

Task 5 : Submission Requirement


 Project must be completed with all requirements.
 Submit: Cover Page with all pages of Research, Mind mapping, sketches, and
References. Prototype/Mock-up
