ASSIGNMENT-VI

1. Consider a system with an ideal relay as shown in Fig. Determine the singular point.
Construct phase trajectories, corresponding to initial conditions, c(0) = 2, 𝑐̇ (0) = 1 and
c(0) = 2, 𝑐̇ (0) = 1.5. Take r = 2 volts and M = 1.2 volts.

2. Using the describing function analysis, prove that no limit cycle exists in the system
shown in Fig.
