Maximum mobility
At just 4.4kg (10lbs), the lightweight and portable IPLEX MX-R can be carried to the inspection site with just a shoulder strap, and even remains body mounted with safety during the entire inspection - its that mobile! Furthermore, the system uses a large capacity, yet lightweight and compact rechargeable Lithium-ion battery providing 2.5 hours of continuous operation for uninterrupted inspections. Extended battery operation can be doubled when using an optional external battery kit.

Advanced specifications
The IPLEX MX-R is ideal for almost any inspection requirement, and is supported by an extensive array of in-demand functions, including freeze, electronic zoom and extended exposure for low light level conditions. Over 900 digital images (JPEG format) can be recorded on the supplied 128MB Compact Flash card, and images can be quickly transferred to PC for full and immediate viewing, using the IPLEX Manager software provided.

Easy movement Insertability and durability

The IPLEX MX-R has a slim 4.4mm (0.173") outer diameter tube with a short 15mm (0.591") hard tip and small bending radius for effortless insertion and convenient access to minute parts. The MX-R is especially effective for high-precision jobs in intricate spaces, such as inspecting small gas turbines and heat exchanger tubes. The Olympus-original Tough Tapered Flex insertion tube design also provides superior insertability, and excellent crush resistance, increasing equipment reliability and reducing the overall cost of ownership.

Optional illumination
For added convenience, the MX-R system has an optional guide tube with an LED scope tip for supplementary illumination without halation distortion, which a mirror could not provide. That means you can not only insert the IPLEX MX-R scope into tight places, but also obtain clear, well-lit views of complex internal parts .

3x electronic zoom

Newly developed Power Assist articulation1 gives you more articulation with less work. The lower power consumption of this four-way articulation method means longer battery life. Just a light touch of the joystick moves the scope 120 degrees2 in any direction.

Longer length convenience

Depending on the job at hand, the MX-R system provides a choice of two different effective lengths for optimal access. Alongside the 4.4mm diameter 1.5m and 3.0m lengths, and 6mm diameter 2.0m and 3.0m lengths, theres a 5.0m length for many automotive or gas turbine inspections, and an 8.0m effective length for tasks requiring longer insertion, such as plant maintenance tasks.
