Symptom
New law concerning legal VAT reporting is valid in Romania as of August 1, 2023:
Starting 1 August 2023, on NAFA website was published new tool which will replace the existing 300 declaration.
From 25th of September version in XSD was changed to v9.

Reason and Prerequisites


ANAF has released a new legal change for VAT 300 declaration starting as of reporting for August 2023.This note contains
information about the legal change OPANAF nr. 1176/04.08.2023, published on August 4, 2023.
This note concerns legal changes in Romania as of August 2023 for 300 Declaration.
Based on the Order 1176/04.08.2023 which affected processing 300 declaration in Romania, Tax Authority published the tool
- PDF type on 28.08.2023 and updated in 18.09.2023 (XSD schema still wait to be corrected).
Changes are based on ANAF changes published on:

Solution
Update customizing:
For new lines 14.1, 14.2 use codification 67 for tax code relevant for 14.1 and 69 for tax code relevant for 14.2
Allocate these new tax codes created for 14.1,14.2 in OBCG transaction :
example: (tax code 41 for 14.1, tax code 42 for 14.2)
41 Taxable /tax-exempt line 14.1 MWS 27
41 Taxable /tax-exempt line 14.1 MWS 67
42 Taxable /tax-exempt line 14.2 MWS 27
42 Taxable /tax-exempt line 14.2 MWS 69
Apply appropriate support package or implement attached correction instructions.
