Login to the OLT

Check if you can see the ONU on Unconfig

a. CDV-PARADISE-ESTATE-OLT#show gpon onu uncfg

If seen, check which of the PON e.g gpon 1/2/1

Also, check the last ONU config on that PON

E.g: 1/2/1 attached image below has the last ONU at 36, so if configuring a new one will start at

37

Now, get to your configure terminal ( Conf t command)

1. CDV-PARADISE-ESTATE-OLT(config)#interface gpon-olt_1/2/1
2. onu 37 type ZTE-F660 sn ZTEGC9118D5B
exit the terminal
3. CDV-PARADISE-ESTATE-OLT(config)#interface gpon-onu_1/2/1:37
4. NAME AYOTUNDE OLABISI
5. sn-bind enable sn
6. tcont 1 name T1 profile T1-20M (please note this is for the bandwidth the customer is paying
for, if it is 10mb, then use 10M)
7. gemport 1 unicast tcont 1 dir both
8. switchport mode hybrid vport 1
9. service-port 1 vport 1 user-vlan 78 vlan 78
exit the terminal

Service Channel config

10. CDV-PARADISE-ESTATE-OLT(config)#pon-onu-mng gpon-onu_1/2/1:37


11. service HSI type internet gemport 1 cos 0 vlan 78
12. vlan port eth_0/1 mode tag vlan 78 priority 0
exit terminal to normal mode and then;

CDV-PARADISE-ESTATE-OLT#write
Backuping old configuration into flash...
Collecting configuration into memory...
Writing configuration into flash...[OK]

Check the power if it is within threshold before proceeding to the SPLYNX.
