How to do Setting
Two group of Protection Setting are available in CSDPR-V2 relay. User can select One Group as Active Group. For setting below are
simple steps for configuration:

Default First Screen

MAIN DEFAULT SCREEN PAGE:


L1 : XXXX.X Amp
The very first Screen of the HMI shows the
Measured Primary Current for all the phases L2 : XXXX.X Amp
based on CT ratio.
L3 : XXXX.X Amp

Ie : XXXX.X Amp

“# EDIT/VIEW PARAMETER #"

<GROUP SEL> : For Active Group Selection of Parameter

<PROTECTION> : Protection Related Parameter Menu

E <FAULT RECORD> : Fault Record Menu


Press Key
<RELAY ASSIGN> : Programmable Relay Assignment Menu

<DI BLOCKING> : DI-Protection Blocking Menu

<TRIP TYPE> : Output Trip Type Configuration Menu

<RLY RESET MODE> : Programmable Relay Reset Menu

<RST TRIP COUNT> : TRIP COUNTER Reset Menu


By using the scroll keys
select the <TRIP TEST> : Output Trip Test Menu
desired menu and <COMM SETTING> : Communication RS485 Menu
press enter.
<EDIT RTC> : Clock Setting Menu

<CHNG PASSWORD>: Password Change Menu

< FACT SETTING > : Factory Setting Menu *

<RELAY VERSION> : Relay Version Menu

* Note: Factory setting menu is not for user. It is for factory setting purpose.
From Menu-1:
# GROUP SEL #
On Selecting <GROUP SEL> Menu, out
of two groups of setting, one group
ACT.GROUP: GROUP 1
[Group1 / group2] at a time can be
activated as ACTIVE GROUP & some will
be visible in parameters. ←BACK

From Menu-1:
On selecting <PROTECTION> List of all "CT_Ratio" : 0001 : CT Ratio for primary current display
the Editable parameter of protection will
appear by using the Scroll keys "CHAR-P" : DEFT : Phase over-current trip characteristic

select the desired Parameter & Press "CHAR-E" : DEFT : Earth over-current trip characteristic
Enter key to Edit the selected parameter.
"I>" : 0.30xIn : Over-current Pickup

"ti>" : 0.030 : TMS Over-current Setting

"t>" : 003.00s : DEFT Trip Time

"l>>" : 0.5 x In : Short Circuit Protection

"t>> : 00.05s : DEFT Trip timing for SC Protection

"le>" : 0.05 x In : Earth Over-current Pickup

"tie>" : 0.030 : TMS Over-current Setting

"te>" : 005.00s : DEFT Trip Time

"Ie>>" : 0.5x In : Earth High-set Pickup

"te>>" : 00.50s : DEFT Trip timing Earth High

“U0>" : 10% : Unbalance Pickup

“t0>" : 000.50s : Unbalance DEFT Trip time

“CBFP” : YES : CBFP Protection

“tCBFP” : 1.24s : CBFP Supervision Time

“TCS_DLY” : 0.50 : TCS supervision delay

From Menu-1:
# FAULT RECORD #
On selecting <<FAULT RECORD>>
Menu, it will show the Fault number
<FAULT NUMBER>
(latest one as 1) & then it will show the
FAULT Current, Fault Type with date &
<ERASE FAULT>
Time & also the trip timing as per setting.
To erase all the fault record choose
“ERASE FAULT” selection.

# RELAY ASSIGN #
*From Menu-1:
"OC_RELAY" : DISABLE
On Selecting <RELAY ASSIGN> user can
assign the Relay 1 & 2 on OC/SC E/EH "SC_RELAY" : RLY-1
/CBFP /U0>. By default it will be in
Disable Mode. These two relays will work "E_RELAY" : RLY-2
only in presence of Auxiliary supply.
"EH_RELAY" : DISABLE
Use the Scroll keys , to
"CBFP_RY" : DISABLE
select the desired Parameter & Press
Enter key to edit the selected parameter. “U0-RY" : DISABLE

“TCS-RY" : RLY-1

* From Menu-1:
# DI BLOCKING #
On Selecting <DI BLOCKING> user can
program blocking of any of Protection, "I>" : BLOCK
based on applying Voltage to Blocking
"I>>" : UNBLOCK
DI. Protection will get block only when DI
Blocking will be assigned & Voltage will "Ie>" : BLOCK
be applied to BLOCKING-DI. By using
the Scroll keys select the desired "Ie>>" : BLOCK
Parameter & Press Enter key to Edit the
selected parameter
“U0>" : UNBLOCK

From Menu-1: # TRIP TYPE #


On Selecting <TRIP TYPE> user can
select the required Trip Output i.e. MHT
"TripO/P: MHT
Coil OR Latch Relay OR DUAL.

On selecting <RLY RESET MODE>


# RLY RESET MODE #

Use the Scroll keys , to RSET MODE : AUTO

select the desired Parameter & Press ←BACK


Enter key.
