Introduction

Written using UK crochet term, Forget-me-not Granny square uses double knitting weight yarn and a
4.50mm crochet hook. But don’t let this limit you! Use your favourite yarn, be it Aran, Worsted or four ply
weight (and the appropriately sized hook).

Intermediate skill level. A knowledge chain, slip stitch, double crochet, treble crochet, crocheting stitches
together and standing stitches is required.

Materials

Double knitting weight yarn in the following colours:

Light blue, white, yellow, green, light mauve, blue.

4.50mm crochet hook

Note: In this pattern I use the terminology of yarn round hook, some may know this as yarn over. It means
the same thing.

Abbreviations: ch, chain; dc, double crochet; htr, half treble crochet; slst, slip stitch; sp(s), space(s);
st(s), stitch(es); tr, treble crochet; tr4tog, treble 4 together (*yarn round hook, insert hook into next st,
yarn round hook, pull back through, yarn round hook, pull through 2 loops on hook, rep from * 3 times
more, yarn round hook, pull through all 5 loops on hook).
