DISCUSSION OR FINDINGS

Introduction

This system makes it simple for customers to place orders for the food. Additionally, it may guarantee
that individuals do not waste their valuable time and put it to productive use in the other works. In the
long run, it will guarantee that it contributes to lowering labor expense. This system proves to be less
expensive and efficient compared to other systems. In this chapter it will discuss the system function
and how it works.

System Function

A. Customer Page
Home Page
This home page is a part of system where the navigation button, company name and search engine are
included. The user can also view the featured restaurants together with the dishes and the price of the
dish. It includes also in the home page the contacts of the website including the additional information
and the payment option.

Login/Sign in Page

This log in page is a part of the system that created for user login information in order to access the
system or the service of FoodToGo. It also includes in this page a create account, where the customer
can create their account by putting all the required information needed.

account in case, they don’t have
an account yet. By clicking the

Register Page

This register page, is a set of fields that users need to fill out all the important details that is required. It
includes the information about the users and to create the password that contains at least one capital
letter, one lower case letter, at least one number with no spaces to register their account.

This restaurant page is a part of the system where the user can see all the available restaurants
including their address and menu together with the price of it. It also includes in this page the list and
quantity of the order, total bills and checkout button.

2 Add to Cart Button By clicking the add to cart


button it will take the user
order and the quantity of it. The
user can view also the price of
their menu.

3 Checkout Button Together with the checkout


button, the user can see the
dishes they add to their cart and
the total bills. If the user
already sure about their order,
click the checkout button.

This gallery page is a part of the system where the user can view all the images that is related to the
company like the available restaurants and some famous dishes that will attract the user to order the
food.

This about page is all about the team and company of this system, where the user can view the

B. Admin Page

Login/Sign in

This log in page, is a part of the system that created for admin login information in order to access this
system or the service of FoodToGo. The admin needs to fil up the following required areas as shown
in the figure.

Dashboard Page

This dashboard page, is a part of system where the user can monitor all the system data. It tracks the
performance of the system including the total orders, total earnings, processing orders, cancelled
orders and etc.

orders and the retro categories.

3 Cancelled Orders, Total Where the user can monitor all


Earnings the cancelled orders and the
total earnings of each
restaurant.

User Page

In this user page, where the admin can see all the lists of users account. It is a part of the system where
the admin can monitor or knowing their user’s information and all-important details .

Restaurant Page
This restaurant page is a part of the system where the user can see all the restaurant that registered in
the system. This restaurant page is divided into three, the all restaurants, add category and add
restaurants. The user can view in restaurant page some information of the restaurant like the name of
restaurant, the category of the restaurant and etc.

This menu page is divided into two, which is the “All Menus and “Add Menu”. In this page. This
menu page is apart of the system where the user can add a menu and monitor all the menus of each
restaurant.

Orders Page

This Order Page is a part of the system where the user can view all the details of their customer orders.
In this page, all the customer’s order can display in this part of the system and the user can also view
all the history of the orders.
