ABSTRACT (Font Size 14)

• Abstract should normally be of about 200 words for minor project.

• The abstract should normally be not more than 1000 words.

• Abstract should highlight the project. The objectives and findings should be clearly
correlated.
• Abstract should be compact within words limit as specified above. At the end of the
abstract, a maximum of ten keywords should be mentioned. Keywords are the important
buzz words of the thesis.

Keywords: Maximum 10 keywords should be mentioned

GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING SUMMER TRAINING REPORT

The training report should be presented in the following format only -

a) The report should be printed on A4 size paper (Single Side).


b) The font used should be Times New Roman and font size for Chapter Heading–16(Bold),
Titles–14(Bold), Normal Text–12(Regular),

c) The top, bottom & right margins should be 1inch each. The left margin should be set at
1.5inch.
d) The line spacing should be fixed at 1.5 lines.
e) Page numbers should be placed at bottom middle position.
f) Chapters should be numbered as 1, 2, 3, etc. The tables and charts should be in the
format of 1.1, 1.2, etc. i.e. 1.1 indicates that it is the first table in Chapter 1; 2.1 indicates
first table in Chapter 2. Similarly Chart 1.1 indicates first chart in Chapter 1.

g) The training report should be a minimum of 25 pages and should not exceed 35 pages.
h) Students should submit 2 (Two) hard copies duly signed by the faculty guide and the
HOD.
i) The hard copy should be in Spiral binding format with white thick cover as the cover
page.
