    1)Plantation:
     We planted 6 different saplings in the Bangla
    and the KSK campus of the GCUL.
     We have also recommended our friends about
    the plantation for the healthy environment.

    2)Energy Saving:

     We all friend promised that we switch off unnecessary lights, fans, and
    exhaust fans etc. in our hostel.
     We made it a habit to turn off all the switches when leaving our rooms
     We are strictly implementing energy saving in our homes.
     We are also implementing this in our university specially in our department.
     We are using public transport and also advised peoples use public transport
    instead of using their own transport because it is a better way of energy
    saving.
     We are promoting the use of things in our houses that consumes the least
    amount of energy.

    3)Cleanup walk:

     We made peoples aware about the (Cleanup Walk) by writing about it in


    various places.
     We our self-started cleaning in our hostel and inform the rest of the people.
     As individual wherever We Sea garbage, we pick it up and dispose of it in
    suitable place.
     Apart from this We are disposing the empty boxes, plastic bottles, empty
    paper etc. found in rooms, class rooms, and on the university path.
     We have made this habit to through away the peels and rappers of food
    items while traveling instead of throwing them in surrounding.

    4)Safe Paper :
     I have started using the remaing neat part
    Of many gatherd papers such as question papers,
    Pumflit and other sheets.
     We have given our old course to junior students to save paper.
     Keeping in the view the paper saving policy we requested the teachers to
    write all assignments in soft form.
     We advised the students in the school to bind there books immediately
    after purchasing these.
     We encourage our friends to be moderate their use of paper.
     We made people aware that excessive use of paper can lead depletion of
    forest and water.

    5)Less use of plastic:

     While shopping we have started using paper bag instead of many shoppers.
     We encouraged canteen owners to use glass containers instead of using
    plastic plates disposable.
     Instead of buying new plastic water bottle on daily basis have started using
    permanent stainless bottles.
     Instead of repurchasing new plastic essential we are trying to reuse and
    recycling old ones.
     Instead of using plastic utensils in home’s kitchen we have started using
    glass utensils.
     Along with this people were also made aware of the disadvantages of using
    plastic.
