This document contains a midterm exam for an electrical engineering course on power generation. It has three sections: 1. Section A contains 25 multiple choice questions testing fundamentals of electrical power generation terms and concepts. 2. Section B has two questions - the first asks students to calculate efficiency and load from information on a steam power plant, and the second asks students to explain the main parts of a nuclear reactor. 3. Section C has two longer questions - the first asks students to calculate average discharge, pondage, and capacity from hydro plant data, and the second asks students to plot a daily load curve and calculate associated metrics from demand information.
