INTRODUCTION
❖ Design an experiment to answer the Research Question: How does electric current
change with resistance?
Ohm's Law describes the relationship between electric current (I), voltage (V), and resistance
(R) in an electrical circuit; we use this formula.
V=I*R
In this equation
● V represents voltage, measured in volts (V).
● I It represents electric current, measured in amperes (A).
● R represents resistance, measured in ohms (Ω).
● Conversely, if resistance (R) decreases while voltage (V) remains constant, the
electric current (I) will increase. Lower resistance allows more current to flow.
So, resistance and current have an inverse relationship in a simple electrical circuit with
constant voltage: as resistance increases, current decreases, and as resistance decreases,
current increases. This relationship is essential in understanding how electrical circuits and
components work
METHOD
Materials
● Battery
● Ammeter
● Wires
● Resistor
Procedure
● You connect the battery with two wires at the ends.
● Then put a resistor between the cable, ammeter and the battery to prevent it from
catching fire.
● We connect all.
● We modify the resistance to observe how the current changes and we write down in
the table.
● Then with the acquired data we take correlation and significance.

DISCUSSION
With the experiment we were able to observe that our hypothesis was true, with the
change in resistance there is a change in current. This is because a higher resistance makes it
more difficult for electrons to flow through the circuit, resulting in a lower current.
