The vision of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports
Award is to make the UAE a global hub for sports creativity, leadership
and excellence. This award provides a powerful incentive to anybody

The Dubai Desert Triathlon is an endurance race where athletes compete in
the disciplines of running, cycling and horseback riding. The race is quickly

a proven attraction, as it offers circus performances and workshops as

The Samsung Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup is a Dubai-initiated
event and is the second leading beach soccer world championship after
the World Cup. The tournament runs for 5 days at the end of October until
the start of November and is held in a stadium that can hold over 3,000
visitors with a 500 seat VIP section for visiting dignitaries and community
figures. The event is free for the general public and brings locals and expats
together to celebrate their teams during the tournament. The event is also
televised and followed internationally with extensive PR coverage locally

SHEIKHA The Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament is held every September
