Creating Sourcing Projects (as a Buyer in Ariba Sourcing)

Sourcing projects with specific items can be created in SAP ARIBA

Choose Sourcing.

In the Sourcing Request search filter, enter the relevant sourcing request ID.

For this tutorial, enter 7000008551 and press Enter.

To display search results, select the scroll bar and scroll down.

Open sourcing request

Choose Open.

Choose Prepare Sourcing Request > View Task Details.

Choose Mark Complete

Choose Approval for Sourcing Request > View Task Details.

To define the fixed date, open the date picker.

Choose Submit.

Open the Sourcing Project list.

Choose Open.

Here you can change the sourcing project name.

For this tutorial, enter Sourcing Project 123 and press Enter.

Select the Quick Project radio button.

Choose Event Type > RFP.

In the Test Project field, select the Yes radio button.

Choose Create

Select the Response start date checkbox.

In the Duration field, enter a duration for the sourcing project.

For this tutorial, enter 30 and press Enter.

Choose Next.

In the Team section, choose Next without making any changes.

You can now invite participants to bid on the sourcing project.

Choose Invite Participants.

To view all available participants, choose Search.

Select the desired participants and choose OK.

Choose Next.

In the Content section, choose Next without making any changes.
