If this is the first time logging into the DMS 2.5 you will be directed

• Check that the R1/R2 wiring is connected properly
from the DMS 2.5 to all outdoor units.
• All units must be powered and have successfully
completed commissioning prior to tracking.
R1/R2 from outdoor units must land on one of the DMS 2.5
channels. Use 16/2 stranded shielded wire.

You must enter “System environment settings” to edit and save setting adjustments in the DMS 2.5
NOTE: These settings can be made using the buttons on the front of the DMS 2.5.

5. To exit the BACnet menu and return to DMS2.5 control menu select “DMS2 Connect”
*The Wind-Free™ unit delivers an air current that is under 0.15 m/s while in Wind-Free™ mode.
Air velocity that is below 0.15 m/s is considered "still air" as defined by ASHRAE (American
Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers).

DMS Network Definitions
1. Static IP: Designated single IP set by user, that will not automatically get re-assigned. Manually changed by user.
2. DHCP: A network server that automatically provides and assigns IP addresses, default gateways and other network
parameters to client devices. User selected to set up the IP automatically.
3. Default gateway: A node in a computer network using the internet protocol suite that serves as the forwarding host
(router) to other networks when no other route specification matches the destination IP address of a packet.
5. BBMD = A device that speaks BACnet to another device on the same network, then sends BBMD messages or
BACnet data received information to other networks directly.
