    TOURNAMENT RULES
    MAIN PRIZES 1.Eligibility Criteria:
    CHAMPION – RS 10,000/- Only school players from the state of Odisha(Upto 10th
    RUNNER UP – RS 8,000/- 14TH POSITION- RS 2,002/- class) are eligible to participate in this championship,
    3RD POSITION – RS 6,000/- 15TH POSITION- RS 2,001/- irrespective of any age group.
    4TH POSITION- RS 5,000/- 16TH POSITION- RS 1,104/-
    5TH POSITION- RS 4,000/- 17TH POSITION- RS 1,103/- System of play -
    The Tournament will be conducted as per FIDE laws of
    6TH POSITION- RS 3,005/- 18TH POSITION- RS 1,102/- Chess & FIDE Swiss system with 9 rounds.
    7TH POSITION- RS 3,004/- 19TH POSITION- RS 1,101/- Time control -
    8TH POSITION- RS 3,003/- 20TH POSITION- RS 1,100/- 30 minutes each from move no 1 for the entire game.
    9TH POSITION- RS 3,002/- 21ST POSITION- RS 1,001/- Tie Break -
    10TH POSITION- RS 3,001/- 22ND POSITION- RS 1,001/- In case of a tie, the latest FIDE rules shall come into
    11TH POSITION- RS 2,005/- 23RD POSITION- RS 1,001/- effect. The cash prizes however, will not be shared.
    12TH POSITION- RS 2,004/- 24TH POSITION- RS 1,001/- Default Time -
    13TH POSITION- RS 2,003/- 25TH POSITION- RS 1,001/- The default time will be 30 minutes.

    AGE GROUP PRIZES(Boys & Girls) Electronic Devices -


    All Electronic devices including wrist watches (all types
    (each category 5 Trophies + Cash prizes) of watches) are not allowed in the tournament hall.

    U-06 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy Withdrawal -


    A player may withdraw at any stage of the event after
    U-07 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy
    informing Chief Arbiter in writing.
    U-08 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy Protest -
    U-09 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter should be in a
    U-10 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy writing with a protest fee of 1000/- within 30 minutes of the
    occurrence of the incident to the Appeal Committee.
    U-11 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy Appeal Committee-
    U-13 1st-1000, 2nd -750,3rd-600, 4th-Trophy, 5th - Trophy Before the commencement of the Tournament, an Appeal
    ROUND SCHEDULE Committee will be formed. The decision of the Appeal
    Committee will be final.
