    Ni Luh Ketut Mahalini Ayu Raharja, as known as Mahalini, (born in 4 March

    2000) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter and actress. Born and raised in


    Denpasar, Bali, Mahalini started her career in the music industry with a single
    titled "Bawa Dia Kembali" in 2015. However, she began to get public attention
    after becoming the top five of the tenth season of Indonesian Idol. In the
    competition, Mahalini joined the record company Hits Records and released a
    solo single "Melawan Restu" which brought her her first award in the music
    industry as New Artist of the Year from the 2021 Indonesian Music Awards.

    Before becoming interested in music, Mahalini liked modeling when she was in
    kindergarten. The beginning of her interest in music was when she saw her father
    often singing karaoke at home, Mahalini was interested and sang along. Since
    grade 5, Mahalini Elementary School has taken vocal lessons to hone her singing
    skills.

    Mahalini started her career as a national singer when she was in the 9th grade of
    junior high school. This began when Mahalini was joined by a music producer
    from Jakarta, Bobby Sandhora who was interested in Mahalini's vocals to make
    her a pop singer. Then he was orbited by Sandhora Production to the national
    scene by releasing his first single titled "Bawa Dia Kembali" under the auspices of
    Sandhora and Valf Records. The single release ceremony was held in the hall of
    SMP Negeri 1 Denpasar on January 17, 2015. Furthermore, he appeared as a
    participant in the FLS2N Bali Province event in 2015 with his school vocal group
    which was held at the end of June 2015. After winning the competition, he and his
    group represented Bali Province to the national level at the 2015 National FLS2N
    event held in Semarang. In 2016, Mahalini had dared to go solo in the race. He is
    known to have participated in the Bali and Indonesian Pop Song Competition at
    the Bali Provincial Language Hall on February 13-14, 2016. He won the Bali Pop
    Song Competition category A (12–16 years old). In the following year, she won
    the 2017 Bali Provincial FLS2N in the women's solo category and successfully
    advanced to the national level in the 2017 National FLS2N in Kupang. In
    addition, Mahalini is often trusted to participate in the Bali Song Parade of the
    Bali Arts Festival for three consecutive years from 2016 to 2018.

    In 2019, Mahalini participated in the tenth season of Indonesian Idol.


    Previously, he had participated in the same event in the ninth season but failed
    during the audition. Her tenth season of Indonesian Idol began with an invitation
    to audition for Indonesia Idol in Bali, after passing the audition in June 2019.
    Mahalini auditioned for Jakarta and managed to get a golden ticket. In September
    2019 he entered quarantine. After passing the audition stage and going through the
    competition quarantine process, Mahalini was eliminated in the top five on
    February 3, 2020. As a former finalist, he was automatically handled by MNC
    Group's artist management company, Star Media Nusantara. He also joined under
    the auspices of the record company Hits Records which is a business division of
    Star Media Nusantara. Mahalini took second place in the Top Local Artist in
    Indonesia and Top Female Artist in Indonesia categories. His song "Sisa Rasa"
    also entered the top four for the Top Songs in Indonesia category and Songs from
    Top Indonesian Artists in Indonesia.

    Mahalini is one of my favorite artists. Because every song creation and song he
    sings is very passionate and really sings using feelings. He always performs
    optimally in every event wherever it is. Almost all the songs he sings are
    expensive creations based on his own experience and heart.
