strategy. Many parents are in the opinion that playing too much online games can be harmful but I seriously

Of course, I like to play the games with my friends. We get hooked up with the internet and play together

Living in Muar, there is one particular restaurant that holds a special place in my heart. I will review this
restaurant, called The Pokemist, located at Jalan Sakeh, Muar, Johor.

The Pokemist was established in 2018 with the aim to promote healthier lifestyle amongst Malaysians by
offering a wider range of tasty selections in its fast-casual restaurants. It is more than just a healthy
restaurant, it is a brand that cultivates good eating habits and routine without compromising taste or even
breaking the bank.

Next, the interior design of the restaurant is just phenomenal, the interior of the restaurant looks luxurious
and stylish. The restaurant is perfect with sufficient space to walk around. There are multiple table sizes for
different family groups and everywhere is decorated with photo frames on the wall. The tableware is placed
well to fill the ergonomic environment.

The menu has a complete list of their palatable dishes. There are a variety of cuisines such as Chinese
cuisine, Western cuisine and Thai cuisine. The best part is the chefs are professional and they obtain
certificates recognition by the Malaysian Government. On and off, those chefs will work together to create a
fresh and new dish that is rarely seen in other restaurants. I tried its “limited time offer” of curry chicken
with garlic and it was fabulous and it’s my favourite.

In conclusion, if you are the type of person who likes to enjoy delectable dishes and enjoys the ambience of
the restaurant, I will highly recommend this restaurant.

My School Library.
My definition of my school library is a storehouse of knowledge. It is well stocked up with thousands of
books and lately, there are many inclusion of electronic materials such as Ebooks and internet access.
Membership and all facilities are free. The library is divided into two sections, the adults’ section and the
reference section.

I like to go to the library because of the quiet surrounding and the air-conditioning. All the on-duty librarians
are very strict in keeping the place in silence. Besides, the air-conditioning is perfect for a study
environment, especially in a hot climate like Malaysia.

However, I like to find more revision books for SPM in our library because of the recent format change from
KBSM to KSSM. At the moment, we have limited resources and most of the materials we have are in digital
form, which is difficult to read and practise. Hence, a range of the latest KSSM syllabus books in all subjects
should be made available for the examination students. Moreover, I look forward to a section of novels and
storybooks to nurture a reading society.

On the improvement side, everyone is keen to see an upgrade to include a multi-media section with
computers and fiber-optic internet connection for assignments. This is in line with the government’s
initiative to create a technology-savvy generation. Furthermore, in 2 years’ time, the plan is to have a
downloadable mobile application that allows users to search for books and download electronic magazines
can be available. That will vastly improve the use of our library.

At the moment, our library is considered one of the best in town. It is entirely up to us to make full use of the

Vibrant Jonker Street in Malacca

Melaka is listed under the UNESCO world heritage site, with a rich trading history and famous sites. Places
like “A Famosa”, “Stadthuys” and “Christ Church” are so famous that most primary schools’ excursion
programmes have these places in their itineraries. This time around, I have decided to take a different turn to
visit Jonker Street and review on it.

This street is the center of Chinatown of Melaka. It began in Dutch Colonial times as the home to many of
the servants of Dutch nobility. When the large Chinese presence moved in, decorative accents like a large
Chinese-style archway were added. The street is blocked off every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening to
become a pedestrian-only night market.

I enjoy this place because there is a plethora of things to see, buy and eat. It truly comes alive when the
streets are closed to traffic and the night market stalls open up. I found many stalls selling very unique gifts
at affordable prices. About food, this place has some most delightful food such as coconut shakes, satay and
“Dim Sum”. Besides, this market has nightly market entertainment with ladies participating in synchronised
line dancing.

After a nicely suffused stomach and bags full of bargains, this place stands in my first choice whenever I
come to Malacca. If you haven't been there before, I highly recommend it. This place provides once-in-a-
lifetime experiences that I will never forget. It is of paramount importance to arrange the trip in advance.

The movement order as circuit breaker has put most of us with lots of free time at home. However, most
parents who are forced to work from home seem to have more house chores to do. They need to cook and
look after the children indoor.

Normally, most of our house chores are done during weekends. All family members come hand-in-hand to
ensure everything is in place, like washing clothes, sweeping the floor and wiping the tables. During
weekdays, mother will be busier cooking for us. However,we help her to wash the plates.

During MCO, our chores are slightly different. Since my youngest sibling could not go to the babysitter’s
house, we have to rotate and look after her. Furthermore, I have to guide my younger brother on his studies
who is studying in the primary school.

The reasons for me to help out are I have to learn to be responsible and reinforce respect from my siblings. It
does help in my life skills, especially changing diapers and teaching my brother. During those times, it is

are fed regularly. For animal lovers, they can also adopt these animals. If there are too many strays, contact

local vets. As for me, I always like animals and when I reach 18 years old, I will adopt two animals.

I remembered entering the new school with great unhappiness because I felt like an outcast. Other
students were always calling me names behind my back. They would not let me join in their games of

The most memorable part of the book is when that leader provides proper and strong leadership to a

Lancelot is always there for Arthur in the times of trouble and happiness. I would recommend the book to

unable to make the shadow disappear.

At the end of the story, Henry, who behaves strangely, announces that he has to leave. He very seldom
leaves home. Later, as the sisters sit in their study room, two shadows appear on the wall. The sisters stood
clutching each other. Suddenly, one of the sisters go to the door after the bell rings. She came back with a
telegram and gasped. “Henry is - dead”.

I like reading the novel because the story is extremely eerie, frightening and uncanny without violence and
bloodshed. This is psychological horror at its very best. It is highly entertaining. Honestly, I am going to
read the whole book again and recommend it to my friends.

National Sports Centre Tangkak

The new National Sports Centre Tangkak (NSCT) is finally open.I went there with my sports
enthusiastslast month. Since the pandemic, the official opening had been delayed a few times. Finally,
our ADUNofficiated the centre on 15 February 2022.

This place is probably one of the best sports facilities we have ever had in town. It caters to every sport you
can think of. There are many sports halls with a central main hall having the ability to fit a size of football
field. The staffs are helpful and most of the patrons found the activities and classes interesting. There are
aerobic dance classes, yoga and lots of activities for children.

My only criticism of this fantastic centre is the food at the cafe. I overheard many visitors speaking out their
dissatisfaction about the quality and the price. The caterer is clearly out of staff as there are only two
waitresses serving customers with 20 tables. Hygiene is also another issue with used plates and utensils
lying around on an empty table. Besides, the menu is boring and to be honest, not healthy at all.

In my opinion, this sports centre provides great facilities for differing age groups. If the cafe can be
upgraded, it will be a perfect place for the community to stay healthy and fit.

As a Form 5 student, my classroom is naturally placed on the highest floor of the school. I can guess the
rationale behind it as it has been the tradition that the seniors would have to climb the stairs and let the

are to have an airy room and a breathtaking view. In my class, I can see a beautiful skyline without any

Talking about facilities, I hope our classroom has lockers lined along the sides to keep our books and files.

Genting Skyworlds

Genting Highlands has become a favourite destination for my entire family. My parents received a
complimentary invitation to the new theme park "Genting Skyworlds" in December. I was whopping with
joy and everyone was in whistling mood. Finally, we reached there on December 12, 2021.

I went in with my sister because there were only two complimentary tickets. Even though the property only
allowed us to visit for half a day, it was fantastic. Our first stop was the Andromeda Base, which is geared
toward male visitors. It provides a thrilling galactic adventure as well as several thrilling rides.

My sister and I rode the first ride called the Alpha Fighter Pilots. It was a high-adrenaline, heart-pounding
experience. The cool air was invigorating and refreshing. During the ride, we screamed our hearts out.
Without realising it, time flew by so quickly that we only got to visit three of the nine mini theme parks!

In my opinion, this newly built theme park is first class. I learned that there is a park called Liberty Lane that
has the only "Invasion of the Planet of the Apes" ride in the world. I would strongly recommend this
establishment to anyone. I could write a lot more about this place, but the above is just a short insight to this
park.

My ultimate getaway has to be a place where I can be carefree and be totally disconnected from the mobile
network or any forms of telecommunication. My grandparents once talked about Saratok, a town located in

first stop to the town in 1974 and before he came back to Penang, the meal he took before leaving was also

People have been talking about the new Oregano Restaurant in town. It was officially open before Chinese
New Year and my whole family decided to give it a try. The general initial review was good but we wanted
to experience it since it was the first establishment in my town. It is located strategically in the middle of the
city with lots of parking space.

The menus are full of flavoursome and nutritious recipes. It has all the food from starters, soups, salads,
chefs specials, pasta, pizzas and dessert. I ordered something which I had never tried before, the risotto. It is
a dish of rice cooked with vegetables, meat and seafood. Frankly speaking, I disliked that because the rice
was too soft and too creamy. It was not suited to Asean’s flavour and the taste is rather bland. The risotto
was also not cheap, costing RM39.90 per bowl. In the end, I left a quarter of it untouched.

However, my father ordered a large pizza called “Matador” with spicy sausages, beef pepperoni, capsicum,
onions, tabasco, herbs and mozzarella. That pizza was fabulous. Other things that I liked were the ambience
and the staff. There was a section called “Kids Pizza Making” to experience the art of making pizza and my
little sister enjoyed it so much. The team is witty, humorous and accommodating.

The decor has a rustic and homely feel inside. It was spacious and welcoming inside. On the outside, there
were alfresco seating, surrounded by plants. In brief, the ambience is the crowd puller to this restaurant. I
would recommend this restaurant to couples and families.
