Comprehensive Examination for MBA Programs

The Comprehensive Examination of graduating class of 2023 will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023
from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Examination Hall, 1st Floor, SSK Center of Excellence, IoBM.

CRITERIA : The students have completed all course requirements and attained a CGPA of at
least 3.0 in their program.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE : Monday, June 12, 2023.

FEE: Rs. 5,000/= (Rupees five thousand only) payable to the Institute of Business Management through
virtual account.
(Students commencing their program before Fall Semester, 2016 are exempted from payment of
registration fee).

MBA (Regular): Students will appear in one major & two non-major subjects of one hour each as per details below:

Major (1 hour) Non-Major (1 hour each)


1. Marketing Finance HRM
2. Finance Marketing HRM
3. HRM Marketing Finance
4. Logistics & Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Marketing Management
5. Islamic Banking & Finance Marketing HRM
6. Management Marketing Finance

MBA (Specialized): Students will appear in one major subject of three hours as per details below:

Specialization (3 hours)
1. Health & Hospital Management 6. Industrial Management
2. Educational Management 7. Logistics & Supply Chain Management
3. Environment and Energy Management 8. Media Management & Marketing
4. Finance and Risk Management 9. Management Information Systems
5. Entrepreneurship and SME Banking & Fin. 10. Development Studies

Bi-Major: Students who have done their majors in two subjects (i.e. Specialized course and another course
(HRM/ Marketing/ Finance/LSCM) will appear in both the major subjects of 1 ½ hour each.

OTHER INFORMATION:
• The comprehensive examination is of three (3) hours duration.
• It is mandatory to pass Comprehensive Examination for obtaining the Official Transcript and MBA Degree.
• Students are allowed two attempts maximum to pass the comprehensive examination. A third attempt may
be availed subject to Dean’s approval only.
• The course outlines are available in the examination section for preparation of Comprehensive Exam.
