Narrative Report on the School Orientation on

Enrollment, Brigada Eskwela 2021, School Opening,


Distribution and Retrieval of SLM and Anti-Violence
Against Women and Children

As announce by the Central office, school year 2021-2022 will begin on


September 13, 2021. In line with this event, it agreed that the school will conduct a
School Orientation on Enrollment, Brigada Eskwela 2021, School Opening and Anti-
Violence Against Women and Children to give the guidelines and inputs on what will
happen in this coming school year. School managers developed an activity program for
the barangay leaders to adapt in relation to the conduct of orientation. William Vincent
N. Soria is the leader of Barangay Paiton, Sicot and Owayan. He administered a meeting
give his members a brief background on what will happen the orientation. After the
meeting, the members had known already their duties and responsibilities on the
coming event. The occasion was scheduled on August 23, 2021 at Barangay Paiton on
8:00 AM and Sicot Cover Court on 1:00 PM.
William Vincent N. Soria, the leader of the group had given his thanks and
welcome address into the parents for giving efforts on attending the event to gain
knowledge on the school programs. He then gave the agenda or points of reference of
the orientation as to head start of the activity. It was followed by Sharon P. Lumingkit,
who was assigned to disseminate the information on Brigada Eskwela 2021 and School
Enrollment. Brigada schedules have been given to the parents as well as the status of
enrollment of their learners. After giving inputs on the Brigada Eskwela 2021, Parent
orientation was commenced by William Vincent N. Soria on what will be their role and
duties in relation to students’ education in this time. Giving them a proper knowledge of
Parenting in accordance with education. To continue protecting our learners from
different abuse and their rights as a learner or person, an Anti-Violence Against Women
and Children Orientation was crafted because students tend to stay at home at this
moment because of the pandemic since the school implemented a distance learning to
carry on their education. Cyril B. Enriquez had been given the responsibility to give
information on Anti-Violence Against Women and Children. He is currently enrolled in
the College of Law in Misamis University. With the new school year, it was also tackled
the distribution and retrieval of SLM. Michell R. Mendoza set out some guidelines on
what the process of distribution and retrieval of SLM will be. Although the procedure
was the same as last year, but there were some slight changes on the schedule and
what kind of assessment the learners will be receiving. Afterwards, Apple Mae Malinao
had given his closing remarks and thanking the parents’ presence on the extremely
relevant matters.
The group conducted the parents’ officers on each barangay. For Barangay
Paiton and Owayan, the elected President is Mr. Torres with his Vice-President, Mrs.
Talan, Secretary was Mrs. Atis, while Mrs. Soltes was the treasurer, the auditor was
Mrs. Managing, and the P.I.O was Mrs. Ollanes. Whereas in Barangay Sicot, they
elected Mrs. Sarajena as president, Vice-President was Mrs. Villegas, Mrs. Lopez as the
Secretary, Mrs. Lumasag was the treasurer, Mrs. Villacorta was elected as auditor, Mrs.
Dado was chosen to become the P.I.O.
Considering the people behind the success of the event, the group had awarded
the certificate of appreciation to the barangay captain and their barangay councilors for
their dedication and commitment on giving assistance of our school projects and
programs.
With all the purpose of orientation had been achieved, the Master of Ceremony
Apple Mae Malinao had given his appreciation to the parents who exerted effort the
programs of the school as well as showing their diligence on supporting their children in
the process of education.
