This document amends the rules of procedure for filing petitions to deny candidacy, declare nuisance candidates, and disqualify candidates for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections. It sets new filing periods for petitions of disqualification based on different grounds, including those related to vote-buying and premature campaigning. Petitions for disqualification must now be filed within 5 days of the alleged offense or discovery instead of the original filing period. The changes aim to support the Commission's efforts to stop vote-buying and selling and ensure clean elections.
