Hello everybody!

Now it's time for you to do the task for this week. Read the instructions below. Remember that if
you need to review a topic, you can always check the course material as many times as you
need. Keep in mind that you have to present this task during week 2.

1. Outcome

Through this activity, students write a text with personal information and the place of origin of an
actor or actress of their preference using the grammar and vocabulary learned in Weeks 1 and
2.

2. Description
Step 1: Individual task
Step 2: Check this week’s study material and your sessions’ notes.
Situation: Select an actor or actress and look for personal information of the selected
character. Write a post on a forum about him/her with their personal information to share
with the group. You can invent the information. (Ex. real name, nationality, city, phone
number, etc.).
Content:
Vocabulary and expressions (Week 1 and Week 2)
Verb to be (She/he is) 3rd person singular
Countries and nationalities
Numbers
Step 3: Write the text.
Step 4: Review the content, grammar, and the spelling of your text.
Step 5: Once you check the text, attach a cover to your writing and upload it to the the virtual
platform. Write your name and last name on the cover. Include your photo.

Se considera plagio a la copia de información parcial o total de fuentes de información o de páginas de internet, así
como a la copia del trabajo de otro grupo, estudiante, docente, o consulta a persona externa a la universidad.

En los casos a que se refiere el párrafo anterior, si se comprueba la falta, el estudiante obtiene la calificación de
“cero anulado” (0A) como nota final del curso, sin perjuicio de recibir la sanción disciplinaria correspondiente.
