Engineering Mechanics (ME 291) is a three-hour credit course that introduces students to
several theories and concepts in engineering mechanics. Topics include internal forces,
moment of inertia, virtual work, kinematics of a particles, kinetics of a particle, planar
kinematics and kinetics of a rigid body, and three-dimensional kinematics and kinetics of a
rigid body.
