L𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘀, 𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼́𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗹

Hello everybody!
Now it's time for you to do the task for this week, so I invite you to check the
instructions below. Remember that if you need to review a topic, you can always
check the course material as often as needed. Keep in mind that you have to present
this task during week 11.

1. Learning outcome
Unidad 3: My near and distant future
Al finalizar la unidad, el estudiante describe diversos eventos futuros para
desenvolverse en la lengua inglesa a nivel A2+ utilizando gramática y vocabulario
pertinentes.

2. Lesson outcome
At the end of the lesson, you and your team talk about the plans and arrangements
you have for the weekend by using "be going to", the present continuous, and the
vocabulary learned during the week.

3. Description

• Step 1:
o Write about the plans you have for the weekend. For example:
▪ I'm going to have some friends over.
▪ I'm not going to go shopping.
• Step 2:
o Write about the arrangements you have for the weekend. For
example:
▪ I'm having a barbecue at Marina's house.
▪ We're going to the theater after that.
• Step 3:
o Get together with your partner(s), share your plans and
arrangements, and decide which ones you are going to use in
your conversation.
o Create a conversation.
o All team members have to ask and answer at least three
questions about their plans and arrangements.

Attend the workshops and reinforce and practice the topics of the week to do your
task. You can register at Portal del Estudiante or UTP+: Refuerzo Académico.

4. Considerations to record the video

• Before recording the video


o Work in pairs or groups of three.
o Keep in mind the time you have for the task.
o Use the grammar and vocabulary you have studied during the
week.
o Avoid using translators and make sure your ideas are coherent.
o Practice your pronunciation, intonation, and vocalization.
o Use a quiet place to record your conversation.
• At the moment of recording the video
o Show yourselves to the camera in a close-up or medium shot,
without covering your face.
o Avoid recording yourselves in the shadows or giving your back to
the light.
o Greet your audience and introduce yourselves at the beginning
of the video.
o Use correct pronunciation, intonation, and vocalization.
o Use the correct volume of voice, it should be neither too high nor
too low.
o Use body language and show interest when listening to your
partners.
o Avoid reading your conversation.
o Use the time allotted for the task.
o Finish the video by saying goodbye to your audience.
• After recording the video
o Double-check your video before submitting it.
o If you have a link, make sure the access to your video is open.

• Number of participants: 2 - 3

document with the Youtube/Drive link.
• Format: Canvas multimedia or Word/PDF format with the YouTube/Drive

• Video length: 3 - 4 minutes (apart from your introductions and farewells)
• Attempts: 1

posterior a la evaluación, anulará el resultado de la evaluación.
Se considera plagio a la copia de información parcial o total de fuentes de información o de
páginas de internet, así como a la copia del trabajo de otro grupo, estudiante, docente, o
consulta a persona externa a la universidad.
En los casos a que se refiere el párrafo anterior, si se comprueba la falta, el estudiante
obtiene la calificación de “cero anulado” (0A) como nota final del curso, sin perjuicio de
recibir la sanción disciplinaria correspondiente.
