1. Overview
This document summarizes the list of derived function blocks which are new, enhanced in this release of
library. It also summarizes various Key configurations, Notes and Known limitations in this library.
This library is validated on Control Expert V14.0 and Control Expert V14.1.
however, if required can be used with any later version on sole responsibility of the user.

2. List of New Features / Fix / Enhancements

1. Type: Enhancement
Description:
• The library is compatibility with Control Expert V14.0 and 14.1.

2. Type: Fix
Description:
• The DFB’s which does not have necessary comments in the “Types Library Manager”
are provided with proper comments.
3. Type: Fix
Description:
• In “Installation Guide” how user can replace the current used DFB’s version with the
Latest DFB’s version
3. Know Limitation

1. During M580 HSBY Switchover, freshness of the drive (ATV9xx/ATv6xx) is getting healthy after 30
– 35sec in Implicit Communication. This issue occurs sporadically.
If user is experiencing this observation, User should call support and check on the necessary steps
to resolve the issue quoting the following support case number which is reported to Drives Team.
• “PEP0331528R”
• “PEP0331529R”

2. During Quantum/M580 HSBY switchover, drive (ATV61/ATV71) is taking more than 3-14 sec for
response in Explicit communication. This issue occurs sporadically.
If user is experiencing this observation, User should call support and check on the necessary steps
to resolve the issue quoting the following support case number which is reported to Drives Team.

• “PEP0331531R”

4. Key Notes
1. Help on type for the User created Control Expert DFBs are not supported.
2. The user must delete the previous version of the library from the type library manager before
installing this release.
3. If the user is upgrading the ETESYST or EIOTESYST DFB with the latest version available with this
offer, then user has to upgrade the DTM version in his project to 2.10.0.0.
