BIOTHERAPEUTIC
Introduction
We are excited to present Exomed, a revolutionary start-up on a mission to redefine the approach to ageing and
transform the landscape of anti-ageing therapies. At Exomed, we believe that targeting ageing itself, rather than
individual diseases, holds the key to unlocking the true potential of healthy and fulfilling lives for people as they
grow older.
The ageing population worldwide is rapidly increasing, posing significant challenges to healthcare systems and
economies. Age-related diseases and declining health often become inevitable consequences of the ageing
process. However, we envision a future where ageing can be malleable, and individuals can maintain a biological
age well below their chronological years, significantly extending their health span and potentially even their
lifespan.
Through cutting-edge research in regenerative medicine, we have developed an oral treatment that harnesses the
power of young exosomes derived from food-producing animals. Exosomes, nanoparticles found in all cell types,
play a critical role in intercellular communication, making them ideal candidates to restore youthful cellular
function and address the hallmarks of ageing.
Our treatment has shown promising results in promoting tissue repair, reducing inflammation, and enhancing
overall health and cognitive function. By slowing the biological ageing process, we aim to delay the onset of age-
related diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, cognitive decline, and metabolic syndromes
like Type 2 diabetes.
What sets Exomed apart is our unique approach and the significant scientific validation behind our product. We
have filed a patent that protects our IP and covers the use of young exosomes from animal tissues to rejuvenate
the mind and body of both humans and animals. This patent ensures we hold a dominant position in the anti-
ageing market, projected to be worth over US$600 billion by 2030.
We recognize the importance of simplicity and accessibility in healthcare solutions. By utilizing food-grade
sources for exosomes and focusing on oral administration, we have simplified production, reduced costs, and
eliminated complex regulatory barriers associated with pharmaceuticals. This positions us to enter the market as a
complimentary medicine, enabling a faster and clearer path to market entry.

The world's population is experiencing unprecedented growth, and with advancements in healthcare and
technology, the average lifespan is steadily increasing.
While this is a remarkable achievement, it brings with it a new challenge: the proportion of elderly individuals in
the population is rising to epidemic proportions.
As people live longer, they become more susceptible to age-related chronic diseases, leading to a significant
increase in chronic disease prevalence.
The traditional approach of treating individual diseases in isolation is proving inadequate in the face of this aging
demographic. The compounding effect of chronic diseases further exacerbates the burden on healthcare systems
and society.
With increasing lifespans, the cost of managing chronic diseases into the future is projected to escalate
dramatically, posing significant economic challenges.

The demographic shift towards an ageing population is a global phenomenon, affecting every country regardless
of its level of development.
Developed countries, in particular, are experiencing a rapid rise in their ageing population.
Japan, for instance, already has over 30% of its citizens aged 60 or above, which presents significant challenges
for the country's healthcare and social systems.
In Australia, 48.3% of the population is over 40, and 29% are aged 55 or older, indicating a growing demand for
healthcare services and solutions catering to the needs of older adults.
By 2030, one in six people worldwide will be aged 60 or over, and this figure is projected to increase
substantially over the coming decades.
By 2050, the number of individuals worldwide aged 60 years and older is expected to reach a staggering
2.1 billion, nearly doubling the current population in this age group.
The number of persons worldwide aged 80 years or older is expected to triple between 2020 and 2050.
(WHO data).
Cost of Aging
Although not in itself a disease, ageing is the major risk factor for developing many chronic debilitating diseases.
In turn these diseases appear to accelerate the ageing process.

Recent extension of human lifespan has been attributed to improved diet, recognised benefit of exercise and
medical advances that have significantly reduced the incidences of life-threatening diseases that occurred earlier
in life.
Consequently, more people are now living long enough to experience the chronic diseases and disabilities that
accompany ageing.
The number of elderly are increasing as a proportion of the population, along with the percentage with a
disability. This is fast becoming a global epidemic.
With increased morbidities and increased life expectancy comes associated costs for treating and maintaining the
elderly.
Currently in the UK it is estimated that an 80 yr. old costs the healthcare system 5 times that of a 30 yr. old.
In Australia expenditure on over 65’s is 4 times that for under 65’s (2021 Intergenerational report).
Health expenditure in the USA is projected to double from 3.7% of GDP in 2012 to 7.3% by 2050.
Projected Lost Output Due To Chronic Disease
Ageing is a biological process that humans, undergo. However, this natural phenomenon is accompanied by a
gradual decline in physical and mental capacity.
Cognitive and physical function peaks around age 30, with healthspan curves remaining relatively flat until a
decline begins in the 5th decade of life, becoming steeper during the 7th decade, leading to an increased
vulnerability to various age-related diseases and morbidity.

Life expectancy has increased significantly in the last century, with the typical lifespan of an average human
varying across regions and populations being around 70 to 80 years.
However, longer lifespans also mean an increased likelihood of encountering age-related diseases. As individuals
reach their later years, the cumulative effects of ageing processes and exposure to risk factors make them more
vulnerable to chronic diseases.
Age-related diseases encompass a wide range of medical conditions, including cardiovascular diseases,
neurodegenerative disorders (such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's), cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and respiratory
diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
These diseases often arise due to a combination of genetic predispositions and accumulated damage from
environmental factors over time from lifestyle choices and the underlying aging process which is continually at
play in mature adults.

Additionally, age-related diseases often have a cumulative impact, where one condition may increase the risk of
developing other health issues. This synergy of multiple diseases can lead to complex health challenges and
require comprehensive management strategies.
50% of 65-year-olds are suffering from 2 or more long standing conditions with the average 80-year-old
suffering 5 (Steele 2022).
The impact of age-related diseases on morbidity cannot be understated. As these diseases progress, they lead to a
decline in physical and cognitive abilities, resulting in reduced quality of life and increased disability.

UK Cancer Rates
Older adults facing age-related morbidities may experience limitations in their daily activities, decreased
independence, and a higher risk of falls and injuries.
Chronic diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, and respiratory conditions, account for
approximately 71% of global deaths, according to WHO.
The burden of age-related diseases places a significant strain on healthcare systems and caregivers, with increased
demands for medical services, long-term care, and resources for disease management.
Morbidity refers to the state of being diseased or afflicted with a medical condition. It encompasses the overall
burden of illness experienced by individuals and populations, taking into account both the prevalence and impact
of various health conditions.
Chronic conditions, in particular, play a significant role in shaping morbidity. These are long-term health
conditions that persist over time, often worsening with age. Chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension,

arthritis, and cardiovascular disorders can lead to substantial morbidity as they affect multiple organ systems and
require ongoing management and treatment.
As chronic conditions progress, the impact on morbidity becomes more pronounced. Initially, individuals may
experience mild symptoms and functional limitations, but over time, the diseases may lead to more severe
impairments and complications. For example, a person with early-stage arthritis may have occasional joint pain,
causing mild discomfort.
However, as the condition progresses, the joints' deterioration can lead to increased pain, reduced mobility, and
difficulty performing daily tasks. Similarly, chronic respiratory diseases, such as COPD, may initially result in
occasional shortness of breath but can escalate to persistent respiratory distress and decreased lung function.
The progressive nature of chronic conditions emphasizes the importance of early detection, effective
management, and preventive measures to minimize the long-term impact on morbidity.
Levels of morbidity can vary depending on the severity and number of chronic conditions affecting an individual.
For some, morbidity may be relatively mild, with manageable symptoms and limited impairment. Others may
face high levels of morbidity, dealing with multiple chronic diseases and experiencing significant disability and
functional limitations.
Comorbidities, the coexistence of multiple chronic conditions, can further compound morbidity, leading to more
complex healthcare needs and a greater burden on healthcare systems.
Addressing morbidity requires a comprehensive approach that includes disease prevention, optimal management
of chronic conditions, and a focus on improving overall health and well-being in ageing populations.

Understanding the underlying mechanisms of age-related diseases and developing effective interventions to delay
or mitigate their onset is crucial for promoting healthy ageing and enhancing the well-being of older populations.
The prevailing approach to treating chronic diseases and morbidity in modern healthcare involves addressing
individual diseases as they manifest, often in isolation from one another. This "siloed" approach focuses on
managing symptoms and providing treatments specific to each disease without considering the intricate interplay
between multiple health conditions.
While this approach may provide short-term relief, it falls short in addressing the complex web of underlying
factors contributing to age-related diseases and the resulting morbidities.
This isolated treatment approach is ineffective in rebuilding total health and maximizing healthy productive years
of the individual for several reasons.

First, age-related diseases frequently share common risk factors, such as sedentary lifestyle, poor
nutrition, and inflammation. Treating diseases in isolation fails to target these shared factors, missing an
opportunity for comprehensive prevention.
Second, the cumulative effects of multiple diseases can exacerbate one another, leading to a greater
overall burden on the body and diminished overall well-being. Isolated treatments often overlook these
interactions, resulting in suboptimal outcomes for patients.
Despite significant advances in medical research, there are currently no clinically proven treatments on the market
that effectively slow or reverse the ageing process.
Many supplements and remedies claiming to address ageing lack sound scientific validation, leaving individuals
and healthcare professionals searching for evidence-based solutions to address the challenges of ageing.

A perfect storm is brewing as a result of several converging factors, each with its own significant impact on the
global landscape.
2. Shift in Demographics:
The balance between generations is tilting as the proportion of elderly individuals within the population
grows while the productive workforce remains relatively constant. This mismatch sets the stage for a
potential crisis, where a shrinking group of working-age individuals bears the responsibility of supporting
a larger aging cohort.
As these factors converge, their effects compound dramatically as they create the perfect conditions for a global
aging epidemic.
The aging population is projected to surge, exerting unprecedented pressure on healthcare systems, economies,
and social structures. The challenges of caring for an older population with complex healthcare needs threaten to
overwhelm nations' resources and disrupt societal norms.

Exomed envisions a transformative approach in the anti-aging sector. Recognizing that the modern strategy to
combat chronic conditions and diseases is to address aging as the root cause, the company aims to shift from
isolated disease treatments to a comprehensive strategy that targets aging itself.
With this groundbreaking perspective, Exomed aspires to redefine the entire landscape of the sector, championing
a more holistic method.
Targeting Aging as the Root Cause has the Biggest Bang for the Buck
Central to Exomed's ethos is the notion that true well-being in our golden years stems from an equilibrium
between "lifespan" – the sheer length of one's life – and "healthspan" – the duration one spends in optimal health.

This philosophy transcends the conventional paradigm, urging us to strive for what is termed "compressed
morbidity." In this ideal scenario, individuals enjoy a prolonged life largely devoid of chronic ailments, ensuring
that the vast majority of their years are not only long but also vibrant and fulfilling, minimizing the period of
illness or disability towards life's end.
"Squaring the Healthspan Curve," is a concept that lies at the core of our approach.
We aim to significantly improve the overall quality of life for individuals as they age, by extending the healthspan
closer to peak level performance and compressing morbidity, individuals can experience a longer and higher
quality of life.
The Goal is to Square The Healthspan Curve
1: The modified healthspan curve shown in red, sees individuals maximise their years within optimal health.
Squaring the healthspan curve is achieved by improving healthspan, this involves reducing the age-induced
decline in cognitive, physical, and emotional health, thus aiming to diminish morbidity associated with the loss of
function.

Central to our approach in squaring the healthspan curve is improving healthspan – the period during which an
individual enjoys good cognitive, physical, and emotional health.
A key differentiator in our strategy is our focus on regenerative medicine.
Instead of treating individual diseases in isolation, we target the underlying processes common to many age-
related pathologies. This approach holds the key to rebuilding total health despite advancing age.
By leveraging the potential of regenerative medicine, we aim to rejuvenate and restore cellular function,
promoting overall well-being and longevity.
Exomed's breakthrough lies in harnessing the power of young exosomes sourced from food-producing animals
and utilizing them as a 100% natural, clinically relevant treatment to address the underlying drivers of ageing.
When administered orally, these exosomes promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall
health, resulting in a significant improvement in physical ability and cognitive function.
Young exosomes carry specific cargo, including miRNA and other factors responsible for cellular rejuvenation.
By delivering these factors to ageing cells and tissues, Exomed's therapy stimulates resident stem cells, restoring
organ functionality and delaying the onset of geriatric syndromes and chronic age-associated diseases.

A REGENERATIVE
BIOTHERAPEUTIC
Aging, a universal phenomenon, is often approached in the realm of medical science by treating individual age-
related ailments. However, there is a growing understanding, as firmly held by many forward-thinking experts,
that the more effective approach is to target aging itself.
This paradigm shift stems from the belief that the degeneration processes intrinsic to aging form the foundation
for many chronic diseases. By arresting or reversing these processes, there's an opportunity to ensure individuals
face the challenges of old age in a much compressed period later in life.
This not only has the potential to increase the number of healthy years an individual enjoys but also can lead to
significant savings in healthcare costs, benefitting both individuals and the broader society.
Recent advancements in computer modelling provide evidence to this school of thought. These models suggest
that while treating individual diseases might offer marginal increments in life expectancy, addressing the factors
that drive age-related degeneration could substantially delay the onset of multiple diseases.
In essence, this strategy can bolster both healthspan, which refers to the period one remains healthy, and
potentially lifespan, indicating how long one lives.
When aging is delayed, there's a tangible divergence between one's biological and chronological ages. This
means, even as the calendar years progress, the body remains in a state of prolonged youthfulness, equipping
mature adults with heightened physical prowess and sharper cognitive functions.
By focusing on aging as the root cause, it becomes evident that the benefits extend far beyond just staving off
natural frailty.
A delay in the biological aging process can impede the development of a gamut of age-linked diseases and
syndromes, from debilitating ones like cancer, cardiovascular disease, and cognitive decline to metabolic
imbalances underlying conditions such as Type 2 diabetes.
The ripple effects of this strategy are profound. An individual not only gains additional healthy, productive years
but also enjoys an enhanced quality of life well into their 80s and possibly beyond.
This transformative approach could redefine geriatric care, positioning it not just as a response to old age ailments
but as a proactive, preventive measure ensuring a vibrant, extended youth.

The current approach to ageing in medicine largely revolves around treating individual age-related diseases as
they manifest, rather than addressing the root causes of ageing itself. While advancements in healthcare have led
to increased life expectancy and reduced mortality from infectious diseases, the burden of chronic age-related
diseases continues to rise. Several key aspects of the conventional approach and current methods to ageing can be
identified:
Limitations:
1. Disease-Centric Model: The conventional approach to ageing focuses on managing and treating age-
related diseases independently, without addressing the interconnectedness between various age-related
conditions. This disease-centric model often leads to a fragmented approach to healthcare, where
treatments may alleviate specific symptoms but do not promote overall health span or slow the ageing
process itself.
2. Symptomatic Treatment: Current methods primarily focus on symptomatic treatment for age-related
diseases, rather than targeting the underlying causes of age-related cellular dysfunction and tissue
damage. While these treatments may provide temporary relief, they do not result in long-term
rejuvenation or delay the onset of other age-related conditions.
3. Invasive Interventions: Many current anti-ageing interventions, such as stem cell therapies, require
invasive procedures and carry associated risks. These treatments may not be well-tolerated by all
individuals and often come with high costs, limiting their accessibility to a broader population.
4. Lack of Clinically Proven Treatments: Despite the growing demand for effective anti-ageing solutions,
there are currently no clinically proven treatments available that can effectively slow or reverse the ageing
process. The lack of validated pharmaceuticals in the market leaves a significant gap in meeting the needs
of the ageing population.
5. Limited Focus on Rejuvenation: Current methods tend to prioritize disease management rather than
rejuvenation and preventive measures. While diet and exercise are recognized as beneficial for ageing
individuals, these lifestyle interventions do not address the cellular and molecular changes that contribute
to the ageing process.
Exomed's innovative approach to ageing presents several opportunities to disrupt the conventional model and
current methods:

Potential To Rejuvenate
Over time there have been many theories about the cause of ageing but most of these have confused cause and
effect. Currently there is no sound explanation for the driver of the ageing process.
What is known is that numerous interventional studies in model organisms have demonstrated that the rate of
ageing and the development of age-related diseases can be significantly modified, showing that ageing is
malleable and is not fixed.
It has been calculated those genetics only makes up around 25% of the variation in lifespan with environmental
factors determining the rest, so that in the real world there is significant potential to impact ageing by modifying
those environmental factors.

Examples in the animal kingdom show that ageing is not inevitable with enormous variation in lifespan between
species, even with animals of the same size (e.g., mice who live 3 years and bats at 30 years) or larger species
(e.g., whales at 200 years).
Some animals appear not to undergo senescence (ageing) with chronological age, that is their tissues show no sign
of age effects and live to a very old age (e.g., tortoise).
It appears these animals maintain the ability for effective tissue self-repair, a mechanism that starts to decline in
mammals when growth and development stops after attaining mature size.
Adult stem cells present in tissues are responsible for maintaining tissue homeostasis and repair. Within tissues
stem cells reside in a “niche”, the microenvironment that regulates and maintains the stem cells in a quiescent
state where upon stimulation they can be induced to proliferate for regeneration and repair.
However, with ageing, changes occur in the stem cell niche (increased inflammation and infiltration with immune
and senescent cells) that leads to a decline in regenerative capacity, associated decline in tissue integrity and organ
function, decreased resilience and progression towards the development of age related diseases.
Recent studies have demonstrated that the ageing stem cell niche can respond to rejuvenation strategies, restoring
resident stem cell functionality that can delay the onset of ageing and reverse age dependent changes.
Systemic signalling from circulating “youthful” factors have been identified as having the rejuvenation effect
when utilizing interventions such as young plasma, heterochronic parabiosis, exercise and dietary restriction.
Diet and exercise are two main interventions that have been shown to impact lifespan in model organisms and
have a positive effect on physical wellbeing in humans. Both interventions appear to act through common
molecular pathways that impact the body at the cellular level and is mediated through cell-to-cell communication.
Dysregulated cellular communication increases with age and is one of the hallmarks of ageing. Hallmarks of
ageing are features that increase with age, exacerbating them worsens health and reducing them improves health.

This is clearly evident when we observe the human lifespan, up to 40-50 years old the average human is
reasonable fit and healthy. From there we can observe a definitive degradation of cellular health which is
increasingly noticeable as the subject ages.
We see fit and mobile 40–50-year-olds slow down and become significantly less mobile by age 65-70. This
physiological decline tends to accelerate after the age of 75.
Cognitive function is increasingly impeded beyond this point with a significant uptick in cognitive related
diseases.
Over the last 15 years there have been trials of newer compounds such as Rapamycin, metformin, ACE inhibitors
and COX2 inhibitors and senolytics. These have demonstrated potential longevity and health span effects in mice
but come with side effects, and as pharmaceuticals, translation into a clinical treatment for ageing requires
overcoming significant regulatory hurdles.
Stem cell therapies have also shown promise and have been successfully used as an adjunct treatment for diseases
involving the immune system (e.g., Bone marrow transplants).

Implantation of stem cells is an invasive treatment and in most experimental procedures it has been found that
beyond an initial response, the stem cells fail to colonise and survive.
Current opinion is that any interim effect from the stem cells is due to secreted factors that act in the local tissues
but dissipates when the stem cells disappear.
Many studies have demonstrated the secreted factors are Exosomes, the small vesicles secreted by the stem cells
that communicate with and affect other cells in both an endocrine and paracrine manner.
Comments from reviews on the limitations of stem cell therapies have identified that Exosomes may hold the key
to overcoming the problems that have plagued the therapeutic application of stem cells.

1. Reprogramming Back to Zero: During normal reproduction the “aged” germ cells (reproductive cells-
ova and sperm) cause a reprogramming of the fertilized ovum back to zero age. If this did not occur the
accumulated age defects in the germ cells would carry over to each generation and life would not be
sustainable.
Cloning is another technique where the nucleus from an aged animal can be inserted into an unfertilized
ovum then induced to divide and develop into an embryo. Even nuclei from senescent cells are capable of
producing viable offspring.
Here also it is shown that the aged nucleus reverts back to zero age before developing into the embryo.
2. Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells: This phenomenon is replicated with Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells
(iPSC) that are reprogrammed back to an embryonic stage and can then differentiate into any cell type in
the body.
Recent studies using similar reprogramming factors (miRNA and transcription factors) for short duration
to partially reprogram cells also demonstrates the ability to return cells to a more youthful state.
Animal studies with both diet and exercise have demonstrated changes at the cellular level showing
“youthful” epigenetic change and cellular function along with extension in lifespan. Although slowing
ageing, it is not enough to rejuvenate and ageing still progresses.
3. Modifying Genes: Genetic studies in worms and mice have shown that modifying genes can extend
lifespan, often by considerable amounts.
4. Transplanted Organs: The fate of organs transplanted into younger donors demonstrates a superior
outcome. For example, livers from old rats close to end of life are rejuvenated when transplanted into
young rats and function for the full lifespan of the young rat thereby far exceeding the normal lifespan of
that liver.
5. Heterochronic Parabiosis: Ongoing experiments with heterochronic parabiosis and young plasma
transfer have continued to show that creating a “youthful environment” for the cells in our body
rejuvenates the cells in the tissues and organs so they can restore function back to that consistent with a
younger age.

Heterochronic parabiosis (the surgical joining of 2 rodents so they share a common circulation similar to Siamese
twins) that joins an old rat with a young rat have shown that the old rat gets younger while the young rat ages.
Longer term experiments improved body function of the old rat and extended lifespan.
Since the first experiments many further studies have replicated the same rejuvenate effects.
Injection of young plasma into aged mice has also demonstrated similar rejuvenation effects with more recent
long-term studies involving repeated injections enhancing the response with prolonged improvement in health
span and lifespan.
Both parabiosis and young blood plasma injections are believed to exert their effect by providing youthful
stimulation to the cells as occurs with cell culture, where individual cells are provided with young serum
containing natural growth stimulants that induce them to grow and divide. Old serum fails to induce growth and
development.
Attempts to identify individual factors such as hormones and growth factors in plasma that are responsible for the
rejuvenation have not been successful in finding this “silver bullet”.
However, there is now considerable evidence that nanoparticles known as Exosomes present in all body fluids
provide the cell signalling that mediates rejuvenation.
The “young” exosomes in serum/plasma from young animals achieve this via the youthful signature they carry.
Ageing signals increase with age due to higher proportion of aged host cells further promoting aging.

Exosomes are nanoparticles that are produced by all cell types studied, including bacteria, fungi, plant and animal
cells.
They are believed to have originated as primitive structures that preceded cells during the evolution of life and
perform a major role in cell-to-cell communication, a function critical for multicellular organisms.
Exosome cargo include functional lipids, proteins, RNA and DNA. By being encapsulated inside exosomes these
factors are protected from degradation in the environment and within the body and are released intact when the
exosome is internalised by the target cell.
Possibly due to their evolutionary origins, exosomes are resistant to harsh environments and can survive passage
through the stomach and intestines.
Exosomes present in food and milk have been shown to be absorbed in the intestine and distribute throughout the
body. Although currently controversial, an increasing number of studies have now demonstrated these exogenous
exosomes having a biological effect within a different species.
Similar studies further demonstrate the interspecies communication that exist such as internal parasites secreting
exosomes to modify the local environment in their host enabling survival.
Studies have also demonstrated the role played by exosomes between bacteria, fungi and plants.
Cell culture was established using animal sera, particularly Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) that has become the gold
standard for cell culture media by demonstrating superior performance with all cell types from all species.
Depletion of exosomes from FBS significantly reduces cell growth and replacing the exosomes in the media
restores growth.
Studies involving the transfer of exosomes from different species (xenogeneic) either by injection or orally show
that that they are taken up, distributed around the body and localise to many tissues and organs.
It has also been shown that oral delivery improves distribution and longer-term survival in the body.
Repeated studies have demonstrated cellular uptake and the ability of exosomes to exert a biological effect in the
recipient. An increasing number of studies also support the ability of orally delivered exogenous exosomes to be
absorbed and to interact with the cells of the recipient.
Exosomes extracted from young and old tissues show significant differences in types of lipids, proteins and RNA
contained on and within the exosomes.
The specific contents of exosomes have been shown to effect different responses in recipient cells. Also, young
exosomes injected into old mice have demonstrated rejuvenation and old exosomes injected into young mice
significant deterioration.

Blood is the medium that bathes all cells in the body and supplies the nutrients and physiological mediators such
as hormones to the cells.
Blood also contains large numbers of exosomes that are derived from all tissue cell types and allows
communication with targeted cells.
Exosomes have been shown to have pleiotropic effects with old exosomes driving deterioration, and exosomes
from pathogenic cells promoting disease progression (e.g., cancer cells excrete exosomes that effect local tissue
and facilitate metastasis).
In addition to specific proteins and lipids, contained within these young exosomes are specific miRNA’s, some of
which have been particularly noted as regulators of development and differentiation. These are able to affect the
expression of transcription factors responsible for epigenetic reprogramming of adult somatic cells towards a
more youthful state .
These miRNA’s are highly conserved across species and it has been shown in studies producing induced
pluripotent stem cells ( iPSC ) that transcription factors from one species (e.g. Mice ) can stimulate iPSC from
human somatic cells.
This cross-species functionality is not surprising given the high sequence homology between mammalian species
miRNA’s, that in many cases are indistinguishable between bovine and human.

The Case For Oral Xenogeneic Young Exosomes As a Therapeutic For Rejuvenation
Young plasma derived exosomes demonstrated as the active component for rejuvenation effect both in-
vitro and in-vivo.
Induction of oral tolerance after exposure to specific foreign proteins (antigens) contained in known foods
(such as bovine milk and meat) desensitizes the body.
The inherent low immunogenicity of exosomes combined with the oral tolerance mechanism allows intact
antigens to be absorbed without creating an immune response and increases bioavailability.
Exosomes after surviving passage through gut are absorbed and distribute to tissues in the recipient.
miRNA in exosomes known to act on transcription factors in the recipient cell and stimulate epigenetic
reprogramming to a younger phenotype.
Xenogeneic exosomes demonstrated to be effective across species (ie. pig/rat, mouse/human).
Due to their ability to survive harsh environments exosomes can maintain biological activity during
processing conditions and prolonged storage.

We are excited to present a groundbreaking investment opportunity that explores the vast potential of rejuvenating
the ageing process. As we delve into this cutting-edge field, we will discuss the latest scientific research and
technologies that demonstrate how ageing can be modified, and age-related diseases can be mitigated. The
potential implications of this research for human health and longevity are enormous, and we believe this presents
an unparalleled investment prospect.
The scientific community has long sought to understand the underlying causes of ageing, and recent studies have
shown that ageing is not an immutable process but rather a malleable one. Environmental factors play a
significant role in determining lifespan, accounting for approximately 75% of the variation in how long
individuals live. With this knowledge, we have the potential to impact ageing significantly by modifying these
environmental factors.
Observing the animal kingdom, we find a remarkable range of lifespans, even among species of similar size.
Some animals, like tortoises, appear not to undergo senescence, and their tissues show no signs of age-related
effects, enabling them to live to very old ages. In contrast, mammals, including humans, experience declines in
tissue self-repair as they age, leading to a decrease in regenerative capacity and the onset of age-related diseases.
Adult stem cells, residing in specific niches within tissues, are responsible for tissue maintenance and repair.
However, with ageing, changes in the stem cell niche lead to a decline in regenerative capacity, tissue integrity,
and organ function. Recent studies have demonstrated that rejuvenation strategies can restore stem cell
functionality and delay the ageing process.
Central to these rejuvenation strategies are exosomes, small vesicles secreted by stem cells, which play a major
role in cell-to-cell communication. Exosomes can exert rejuvenation effects when introduced into ageing
organisms, signaling a "youthful environment" that stimulates the body's cells to repair and restore functions
associated with a younger age.

The red meat processing industry has long grappled with the challenge of maximizing value from every part of
the animal carcass. Currently, only 55% of the carcass is utilized for high-value products, with many co-products
ending up in low-value streams like rendering.
This inefficiency not only leads to waste but also limits potential revenue streams for the industry. However, the
emergence of Exomed's revolutionary regenerative biotherapeutic advancements offers to significantly contribute
towards the solution to this long-standing issue.
In this context, product valorization gains a new dimension with Exomed's involvement. By incorporating their
regenerative biotherapeutic advancements, the red meat industry can significantly add value by utilizing several of
these co-products for bioactives extraction. Following cost effective collection with minimal impact on processing
, a previously undervalued raw material can be converted into a high value biopharmaceutical thereby enhancing
the incentive to collect and process rather than divert to render.
One cannot overlook the significant environmental benefits that arise from Exomed's approach.
Meat processing industry often generate substantial solid and liquid waste streams, incurring disposal costs
ranging from $100-200 million.
However, by embracing product valorization and incorporating Exomed's biopharmaceutical advancements, the
industry stands to mitigate waste generation, resulting in substantial savings in waste treatment and profound
environmental advantages.
By transforming these underutilized co-products into high-value bioactives through Exomed's biopharmaceutical
advancements, the red meat processing industry can effectively redirect materials from the waste stream to higher
value applications.
This shift not only leads to considerable cost savings in waste treatment but also contributes to a more circular and
environmentally responsible approach to resource management. By making better use of potential food-grade raw
materials in Exomed's biopharmaceutical production enables the industry to align itself with sustainable practices,
thereby reducing its overall ecological footprint.
In conclusion, Exomed's biopharmaceutical advancements bring immense value to the red meat processing
industry, not only in terms of increased revenue streams and improved product utilization but also through
significant environmental benefits.
By reducing the amount of co-products that contribute to waste and instead utilize them for high-value bioactives,
the industry can achieve considerable savings in waste treatment costs and actively contribute to a more
sustainable and eco-friendly approach to meat processing.

Lifespan:
The duration of a person's life, starting at birth and ending at death.
Healthspan:
The period of a person's life during which they enjoy good health and function optimally without significant
declines in physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
Longevity:
The overall length and quality of a person's life, determined by the combination of lifespan and healthspan.
To improve longevity, investments should focus on mitigating and preventing chronic diseases, which are the
leading causes of death in adults, including cardiovascular/cerebrovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease,
cancer, and accidents.
Squaring the Healthspan Curve:
The concept of maintaining peak healthspan until a sudden event ends both lifespan and healthspan, resembling a
square on a longevity curve. The goal is to improve longevity by increasing lifespan duration and slowing down
the decline in healthspan.
Improving healthspan involves reducing the age-induced decline in cognitive, physical, and emotional health, thus
aiming to diminish morbidity associated with the loss of function. Cognitive and physical peaks usually occur
around ages 20-30, and healthspan curves remain relatively flat until a slow decline begins in the 5th decade of
life, becoming steeper during the 7th decade.
Longevity Curve:
A graph that represents lifespan on the x-axis and healthspan on the y-axis. Lifespan starts at birth (0 on the x-
axis), while healthspan begins at its peak on the y-axis. Lifespan ends (Type I death) when the line crosses the x-
axis, and healthspan (Types II-IV death) declines as the line slopes downward.
Compressed Morbidity:
A desirable state of health characterized by a shorter and more compressed period of illness and disability near the
end of life. It refers to a situation where most of a person's life is spent in good health, with a reduced time of
suffering from chronic diseases or disabilities before death.
The ultimate goal is to achieve compressed morbidity, where individuals experience a shorter period of illness and
disability before death, leading to a squared longevity curve with a sudden event ending both lifespan and
healthspan simultaneously. By extending the healthspan and reducing the time spent in morbidity, individuals can
experience a longer and higher quality of life.
