EDUCATION
Iowa State University Anticipated: Spring 2024
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Sequence: Power Systems, and Magnetic Fields Ames, IA
GPA: 3.33/4.0
• Related Coursework: Semiconductor Materials and Devices, Power System Analysis I, Microwave
Engineering, and Senior Design I

[TYPE OF] EXPERIENCE

Working on a farm May 2018 – Summer 2023
Cresco, IA
• Moved cattle to different areas of the farm which helped me learn about patience due to the cows not
always wanting to move.
• Worked efficiently in cleaning/disinfecting after every shift and learned the importance of making your
workspace clean when you leave.
• Quickly and efficiently operated a machine that milked the cows and during the process got dirty which
helped me learn the value of persistence.

[TYPE OF] SKILLS

• Software: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), Google Workspace (Docs,
Slides, Sheets, Gmail, Drive), CAD (computer-aided design), Basic MATLAB, Basic ModelSIM, and Basic
Arduino, C coding (Code composer)
• Languages: Spanish (Fluent speaking)
• Other skills: Some soldering

Past Projects
• IR Remote- Worked with a partner in building a remote that would output two different frequencies and
a different circuit will receive the output and turn on an LED depending on what frequency it receives.

• Small Bop-IT Game- In digital logic, my partner and I worked in creating a game called Bop-It which will
need the user to push buttons before a time limit when LEDs turn on and the game speeds up as the
game keeps on playing.

• Bingo- My partner and I created a bingo game in C programing that the user was also able to interact
with by informing the program if they matched any number on the bingo set. The numbers would
randomly generate, and no number will repeat itself.

• Rumba Auto Delivery- Worked with a group to simulate a robot delivering food inside a movie theater.
The robot will mostly use code created by the student to move around, detect objects, not fall into a
hole, communicate to student, and make sounds. The robot will be placed at a corner in the simulated
field, and a student will command the robot to a designated seat to which the robot will navigate
around obstacles.
