DEAR STUDENTS

We all dream about the day when we will crack XYZ examination,
when will get a five-six-digit big salary, travel to all those
beautiful places, buy new spacious house for our parents. Our
entire focus is on the success, not the struggle. And it’s totally
understandable — because success is memorable , and
everybody wants it, while the struggle is drab, disagreeable, and
unattractive for the general public. But, it is the effort, struggling,
and sticking to your resolutions that shapes you as a person.
Success is a reward for giving your best, but it’s not always
within your control whether and when you get to enjoy it.
Whenever you find yourself discouraged by your lack of success,
remind yourself that it is not giving-up and working hard is your
real reward. It’s in your hands whether you allow yourself to see
the rewards the struggle generates or ignore them, Whether you
mindlessly see the end result as the sole indicator of success. I
failed numerous times in life. I could have despaired that I had
lost so much time and effort and money, but I hadn’t really
failed. I had been true to my values of pursuing the life I wanted. I
kept going, despite the obstacles I constantly encountered along
the way. Eventually my efforts paid off. But even if it would have
taken longer to get my results — the struggle would still have
been worth it for the immense changes I underwent on the
journey to pursue my dreams. Eventually my efforts paid off, but
even if it had taken longer to get the results — the struggle would

still have been worth it for the immense changes I underwent on
the journey to pursue my dreams.

Rise and Shine.

Answers
Hint : we are given with the cumulative % i.e. % in 2002 = % in 2002 – %
in 2001, % in 2003 = % in 2003 – % in 2002, % in 2004 = % in 2004 - %
in 2003 & % in 2005 = % in 2005 - % in 2004, so we get,

CHECKLIST FOR BANK EXAMS 2023 BY AASHISH ARORA
% of total

And it is given that total number of students in all five years is 4000. So
by calculating we get,

Year 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005

total
number of 500 1120 800 700 880
students

Also we are given with cumulative number of male students, similarly

we can calculate the actual number of male students for each year. i.e.
male in 2002 = male in 2002 – male in 2001, male in 2003 = male in 2003
– male in 2002, male in 2004 = male in 2004 - male in 2003 & male in
2005 = male in 2005 - male in 2004, so we get,

1. (B)100 kg, if average weight of class A is increased by 0.5 kg then

sum will be increased by = no. of students × 0.5 kg = 60 kg. This
means 60 kg weight is increased when a 40 kg student from class A
is replaced by another student from class B. Therefore +60 =
weight of student from class B – weight of student from class A, i.e.
+60 = weight of student from class B – 40, so weight of student from
class B = 100 kg.
2. (D)62.5%
3. (B)14 : 15
4. (D)20 kg, it is given that two students X and Y removed from class,
the average still remains same. This means two students X and Y
has the same average i.e. 18 and sum of the weight of students X
and Y is 36. So weight of student X = 36/(5/9) = 20 kg.
