1.1. Purpose
The purpose of this User Manual is to guide the Learners/Users who would use the Online
Lecture platform to view/attend the lectures

1.2. Intended Audience


This user manual is intended primarily for the Users/Candidates/Students/Learners who
would use platform to view/attend the Online Lectures
Getting Started
2.1. System Requirements
Operating system: Windows OS (Windows 8/10) and Mac OS(10.15)
Browser: Google Chrome only (79.0)
Connection: Wired Ethernet connectivity recommended, Wireless connection with a good
speed (approximately 1mbps)
Note: Please ensure the internet connectivity is not through any official network or secured
network.

You can join a test session to familiarize yourself with the interface and also test your
network/microphone/speakers before joining a live session. You can also test
your video or audio while in a session.
Note: If you are using the Zoom app on mobile, you can visit http://zoom.us/test to join a
test session, then follow the instructions to test your video or audio.
Instructions
1. Visit http://zoom.us/test.
2. Click the blue Join button to launch Zoom.

3. When prompted by your browser, click Open Zoom Meetings. If you don't have Zoom
installed on your computer, follow the prompts to download and install Zoom.

4. The test session will display a pop-up window to test your speakers. If you don't hear the
ringtone, use the drop-down menu or click No to switch speakers until you hear the
ringtone. Click Yes to continue to the microphone test.

5. If you don't hear an audio reply, use the drop-down menu or click No to switch
microphones until you hear the replay. Click Yes when you hear the replay.
6. Click Join with Computer Audio.

7. Click Join with Computer Audio to join the test meeting with the selected microphone
and speakers.

You will join the test meeting as an attendee.

2.2. Logging and Viewing/Attending the Online


Lectures
1. Open chrome browsers and navigate to https://flipick.com/iibfvc
(Google Chrome with the latest version)
2. Navigate to the Learner hyperlink as shown in the screenshot below:

3. Enter the User ID and password and click on Login option.


4. Post login Learner/User will be able to view a panel on the left hand which has the
options of “My Library”, My Profile”, My Progress”,” My Lectures” and “Logout”
option at the end of the panel.

4. Click on “My Library” to view the Course which is assigned to you.

5. Once you click on the Course you will see course in detail. These course details are
PowerPoint presentations or videos.
Note: Viewing of the course is not mandatory
6. Above the course panel the Learner has the following options:
 Back to Library
 Assessment
 Performance
 Online Lecture

7. To view the Online Lectures, click on Online Lecture on the panel above the course.
The following details are displayed on the page:
 Lecture: This is the name of the Lecture
 Instructor Name: This shows the Name of the instructor who would conduct
the Online lecture
 Date: Date of the Online Lecture
 Start time: Start time of the Online Lecture
 Duration: The duration of the Online Lecture.

The Learner can view the recording of the Lecture which was attended by clicking on the
“View Recording” option which is below the “Join Lecture”. This recording is visible to
the Learner within 30 minutes of the Online Lecture.

8. The Learner can view the Performance post attending the Online Lectures.
This shows the Scores /percentage scored post attending or viewing
the recording the Online Lecture.
Click on the Performance tab as shown below in the screenshot.
Click on the “View Grade Book” option

The Learner will be able to view the scores/percentage for viewing /attending the
Online Lecture with the Total Grade.

9. Post completion of the Course, Online Lecture the Learner can share an Overall
Feedback for the course and instructor. The Learner can click on the
Feedback option on the panel on the left which is below the course details.

10. Once the feedback has been shared, the Learner /User can attempt the Test
by clicking on the Assessment option. It displays the following:
 Test Name: Displays the Name of the Assessment
 Percentage: This will display the percentage the Learner/User has scored post the
Assessment
 Number of Attempts: This shows the Number of attempts the Learner/User has
attempted for a single Assessment.
 Test Date: The Date of the test to be attempted/completed
 Status of the test:
Complete: shows when the Learner/User has attempted the test.
In progress: When the Learner/User is taking the test or the test is in progress.

11. Click on the Assessment Name as shown below in the screenshot


to start the Assessment.

12. The test further takes the Learner/User to the main screen of questions
and the other options:
 Review Questions: On the left hand the Review Questions panel appears with the
list of Questions. This will also let the Learner go back to the Question and review
the answer selected.
 Submit Test: This again is below the Review Question Panel and keeps the
Learner/User updated with the Questions left to attempt.
 Submit button: Allows the Learner to submit the test.
 Previous: This option lets the Learner /User go back to the previous question.
 Skip Question: With this option the Learner can skip the question and attempt it
later. The Skipped Question will be highlighted in red which will be a reminder to
attempt later.
 Next: Allows the user to click the next question
 Attempted and Skipped: This option is on the top right hand of the page above the
Questions panel.
Attempted: This shows the number of questions attempted and is
highlighted with a Green dot.
Skipped: This shows the number questions which are skipped by the
Learner and is highlighted with a Red dot.
Timer: The timer option is above the question panel at the centre. This
shows the Learner the time left for the Assessment.
13.Post the Assessment is submitted, the Learner will be taken to the confirmation
screen. The Learner needs to confirm if the test can be submitted by clicking on
Cancel or OK option.

14. If the Learner clicks on Cancel the page will be re-directed to the Assessment
Screen and if it is OK, then the following screen will appear.

15. Once the Leaner clicks on OK, the Learner shall be able to see the Result for the
Assessment.
