INTRODUCATION
In accordance with my desire to become a management professional, I am bringing my application for student visa to UK for your assessment and scrutiny. I have presented all my academic details, the motivation behind the course, why I am doing the course from this University and UK have all been given below for your knowledge. I am extremely hopeful that you will find the details as given below worthy of your time and attention.
My name is Gagandeep Kaur and my date of birth is 10 th September 1998 residing in Ferozepur, Punjab, India.
My Academic Profile: 2014-2015: 10th with 76.61% from PSEB 2016-2017: 12th with 73.33% from PSEB 2017-2018: Professional Training-Tally with A grade from Macrosys 2017-2020: BBA with 76.53% from GNDU
Work Experience: Working in Milestone Immigration Services as Computer Operator from 1 st November 2021 to till date. As today’s world is a business world, in every aspects business strategy is used either you work in any organization or you are running your own Business, so I decided to go for International standard Master degree in management and International business. I have lot of interest in business and management also. As now I want to work in corporate companies so I planned to do master degree. I discussed with my family & friends to grab International master degree for my future growth & better job prospects. Therefore, after long discussion I decided that job would not scope for my future growth, so I decided to go for further education with International Standard. Therefore, after getting my family support for the decision of higher education, I found that UK Education system provides a great opportunity to pursue higher education. I decided to go for International studies to get better knowledge & skills in my field. I started looking up for the best University for my studies and the course which will be suitable according to my previous studies & my choice and after my long search finally I chose to pursue MSc Management and International Business from Birmingham City University in UK.
WHY DID I CHOOSE TO STUDY IN UNITED KINGDOM?
UK is one of the most amazing and exquisite destination for further studies especially for people looking out for more options, one can explore so much here not only in terms of study but from cultural aspect too. It provides the education levels which are set according to the needs of the student and many of its course fees is comparatively less and even if it is higher still it is worth spending because in return one is going to get the education from the best education system. The methods of study in UK are based on worldwide examples, with latest innovations, technologies and researches, which is the best way for students to relate to their courses. Quality of education and lifestyle in UK is commendable & that is the reason; I want to go UK for my studies. In addition, this is supported by High quality education; it is quite attractive as looking at UK as an education destination. As already I had heard of its education system being so flexible and as many of my known who got graduation from UK are well settled in my home country (India).
WHY SELECTED BIRMINGHAM CITY UNIVERSITY?
It was not easy to choose one university at UK from a range of available institutions which were good in one thing or other, as I found many universities in UK like:- University of Greenwich offering MBA International Business which is not offering modules in managerial area. University of Hertfordshire is offering M.SC. International Business with Placement Year for 24 months with course fees Pound 14,850. Whereas BCU offering M.SC. Management and International Business preparing me with managerial skills also. University of Manchester offering M.Sc. in International Business and Management with 12 months duration and total course fees Pound 25,000. It is expensive in comparison to BCU course as it is total course fees is Pound 16,300. De Monfort University is offering M.Sc. International Business and Management but I got inclined towards Birmingham City University as its industrial partnerships with prestigious companies.
I searched each university in deep, but after looking the course contents & fees structure and, I decided to go for Birmingham City University my program pursue MSc Management and International Business. Birmingham City University is a university in Birmingham, England. Initially established as the Birmingham College of Art with roots dating back to 1843, it was designated as a polytechnic in 1971 and gained university status in 1992. One of an amazing thing I noticed on University’s website that I can chat and interact with the present students of university and can ask about its faculties, facilities and campus life. Through interaction with present student on website, I got to know that professors are extremely knowledgeable and motivate to give their students an understanding of their own fields of expertise. This University has numerous facilities for the students to make their stay easy in UK, and to take best of their university experience. In conclusion, I would like to acknowledge that, I am eager to gain experience, improve my skills and broaden my understanding and knowledge on business.
The university has industry partnerships with prestigious companies namely Microsoft, BBC, Cisco, Sony, SAP, and Jaguar Land Rover to name a few. Approximately 94.3 per cent of Birmingham City University graduates find employment within six months of graduation.
Campus Life: Birmingham City University has many on sites bars and cafes for students to unwind and relax in. iBar hosts live bands and performers, along with open mic sessions, while The Pavilion is located next to the sports Centre. The Lounge specializes in juices, smoothies and coffees, while in the evening it transforms into a lively bar with a dance floor. Bar 42 has an interior designed by Ministry of Sound Designers and offers tasty food, pool tables, quiz machines, music and drinks. Birmingham City University offers the best campus-based delivery as well as work-based learning. By choosing to study at this University, I will have the practical, academic and professional experience and shall be capable enough to enter this competitive world. This University has earned global recognition in providing quality education and training to the students which helps in making a better career. Birmingham City University hosts award-winning and widely experienced teaching professionals. This University is an innovative place to study.
In conclusion, I would like to acknowledge that, I am eager to gain experience, improve my skills and broaden my understanding and knowledge on Management and International Business. When I return to my Home country to start a career as a research fellow with a think tank, the skills I may acquire through my studies will be an important asset in contributing to India's development. Apart from all these things, This University has great link to the industry helps the students to get valuable work experience and skills in the field of their interest at the time of placements, internships and workshops.
WHY SELECTED MSc MANAGEMENT AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PROGRAM?
It is a great chance for me to add value to my professional profile as when I come back to my home country and apply for job, then to develop an impression in a short amount of time. This postgraduate degree aims to enhance your professional prospects by developing your capability to apply the latest thinking related to organizational development and change in the competitive global context. Successful completion of the MSc Management and International Business highlights my potential to have a real impact on the transformation of the organization you join. I will study the modules like: Managerial Finance, The Integrated Business, Leadership Development, International Strategic Management, International Operations Strategy and Innovations and etc. This degree will help to develop a specific range of relevant skills, and gain a detailed understanding of professional management practice to suit my specific career goals.
I will also develop my personal skills for example in team-working; collecting and evaluating information; and developing and implementing strategies. This program is strategic alliances, global commodity chains and customer relationship management with this program. Enhance my employability with practical skills and knowledge. I’ll develop an integrated and critically-aware understanding of the international activities of business organizations, at both the strategic and operational level. This understanding is necessary if I want to effectively develop and execute international business strategy and operations. As I find my program MSc Management and International Business is accurate program for my master degree and this program will provide me right path in my future growth.
CAREER SCOPE: I am very happy with the choice of my program and the university opted by me and I am confident that my study program in UK will help me gain exposure and make me confident for a better career in India and across the globe. I strongly believe that having MSc Management and International Business from Birmingham City University will provide me advanced understanding of global business techniques used to solve complex economy problems and the skills to run a business enterprise efficiently by the specific organizations. I have a strong interest in international business. My salary package will not be less than 6 to 9 lakhs per annum initially. As I will be getting the experience my salary will be raised in future. Moreover the expenses which will be done during my study period in the UK that will be easily overcome once I shall come back to India and start working. I am confident that my UK studies will definitely help me in achieving my aspiration soon.
