Lesson Planning

The MAPEH department of Pagalanggang National High School held a lesson planning session on February 23, 2023. Six teachers attended to discuss updates to their daily lesson plans and logs. The MAPEH coordinator reminded teachers that lessons should be based on the most essential learning competencies and objectives. Lessons should follow the 4A structure of abstract, activity, application, and assessment. Teachers were also told to include remediation activities and submit revised plans as soon as possible.

I. Preliminary Activities
● The meeting started with a short prayer led by Sir Ervin Manalang, followed by the
checking of attendance.

II. Attendance

III. Meeting Agenda


 Updates and changes on the preparation of Daily Lesson Plan.

IV. Flow of the Meeting


 MAPEH Coordinator, Ma’am Glenda P. Lingad discussed the following that needed
to be changed and considered in making a daily lesson plan/daily lesson log:
- It should be planned based on the provided most essential learning competencies per
lesson in each component.
- The MELC should also be unpacked for a more specific and detailed objectives.
- The flow of the lesson should follow the 4As (Abstract, Activity, Application and
Assessment.
- There should be a remediation/additional activities provided in the end of the
lesson.

V. Announcement
 The lesson plan must be submitted ASAP, for checking and revisions.

VI. Adjournment
● The meeting was ended at exactly 4:00pm.
