ACTIVITY 1
ANALYSIS:
Boracay Island
Boracay Island is four square miles of land almost
completely rimmed by white coral beaches and tropical
palm trees. It has always been the number one place to
visit in the Philippines, but because of recent
developments on the island, it’s slipped down in the
rankings to tenth place.
Vigan
The moment you arrive in the City of Vigan, its Hispanic
heritage becomes apparent. Wide cobbled streets lined
with balconied houses and plazas with decorative
fountains give the city an old-world atmosphere
reminiscent of a sleepy Spanish town during the siesta
hours.
Vigan is the capital of the Ilocos Sur region on the
Philippine island of Luzon. A UNESCO World Heritage
Site since 1999 and a New7Wonders since 2015, it is
one of the few remaining cities anywhere in the
Philippines which has retained its original sixteenth-
century charm.
Puerto Princesa Underground River, Palawan
If there’s a must-see when you’re in the Philippines, then
it has to be the Puerto Princesa Underground River in
the province of Palawan. The five-mile-long river is both
a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the
New7Wonders of Nature.
Manila
Probably the best word to describe Manila, the capital
city of the Philippines, is chaotic, but it’s an exciting
chaos. Manila is such an interesting and diverse city, it
doesn’t deserve the downtrodden reputation it’s
sometimes credited with.
Makati
If there’s too much hustle and bustle for you in Manila,
then head to Makati which is one of the sixteen cities
within the metropolitan area of Manila. In what is
Manila’s designated financial district, order reigns.
Nestled among the tower blocks of banking institutions,
foreign embassies and the country’s stock exchange,
are big department stores, restaurants and some of the
liveliest nightlife in the Philippines. So if the city buzz is
too chaotic for you, Makati is maybe the best place to
stay in Manila

ANALYSIS
Yes, I've seen how a slight changes in how I view a simple object gives the subject matter a new
level. It reminds me of something once I've completed the workout, using my non-dominant hand
gives me difficulty to draw, I need to focus to draw sit can be understandable, just like in life, even if
its hard sometimes, I should be focus so I will reach my success/. The tree drawn with my non-
dominant hand in the first box reminds me of a difficult time in my life that I have already overcome.
The second tree, on the other hand, tells me to always go with the flow and never quit. The third tree
then reminds me that Isometimes want to shut myself in the four walls of our house due of my issues.
Finally, the fourth tree tells me that in order to be happy and joyous, I must bring color into my life
ANALYSIS
Painting, the expression of ideas and emotions, with the creation of certain
aesthetic qualities, in a two-dimensional visual language. The elements of this
language—its shapes, lines, colours, tones, and textures—are used in various
ways to produce sensations of volume, space, movement, and light on a flat
surface. These elements are combined into expressive patterns in order to
represent real or supernatural phenomena, to interpret a narrative theme, or
to create wholly abstract visual relationships. An artist’s decision to use a
particular medium, such as tempera, fresco, oil, acrylic, watercolour or other
water-based paints, ink, gouache, encaustic, or casein, as well as the choice
of a particular form, such as mural, easel, panel, miniature, manuscript
illumination, scroll, screen or fan, panorama, or any of a variety of modern
forms, is based on the sensuous qualities and the expressive possibilities and
limitations of those options. The choices of the medium and the form, as well
as the artist’s own technique, combine to realize a unique visual image.
ANALYSIS
BUKAS NA LATA
It shows the relationship between theobject and the space. I can see that thissculpture is small as size
double theregular size of a can. the space wascompletely occupied. I can see that thecolor is pinkish
with shades of red. Itstexture is smooth as human skin. Theshape is like small mankind that
iscrammed to create a human tower. Thesculpture looked more dramatic.Because of the use of the
scale andproportion principle, this art was createdmore effectively to improve its qualityand impact.

KAYUMANGGI
This artwork show so much harmonyof colors and patterns. Kayumanggi'sartwork is not only
showing theshades of brown. It also shows thepattern and harmony that made thispiece more
effective to improve itsquality and impact. The high-definition image of this made it
highquality. It looks really beautifulbecause of the shades of brown thatare made in pattern.
We can see thateven the frame fits the harmony
