READING AND WRITING
-they are both recursive processes. Writing and reading as active processes
both include at least three parameters:
(i) active construction of meaning,
(ii) interactiveness, and
(iii) activation of schemata. process of decoding what the writer expressed in the text
and extracting meaning from the text.
-Since writing is the act of transmitting knowledge in print, we must have
information to share before we can write it. Therefore reading plays a major
role in writing. At the same time practice in writing helps children build their
reading skills
