ClearQuest Designer is the GUI tool that allows users to customize schemas and
administer ClearQuest user accounts. We will explain its functionality in Module 4.

ClearQuest uses state transition models to represent the lifecycle of processing a

change request. We will present the technique of customizing the process model of
change requests in Module 5.
ClearQuest utilizes fields and forms to represent data. In Module 6, we will illustrate
the methods of customizing data representation in ClearQuest.
Hooks and scripts allow users to further customize the operational behavior of
ClearQuest in terms of fields, actions, and records. All the developed hook codes and
scripts are part of the ClearQuest schema as well.
