Kotak Mahindra Bank chose Oracle Cloud HCM for its ease of use on mobile devices, ease of migrating from their previous on-premises systems, and cost and scalability benefits. This allowed them to create a single mobile app for employees and automate paper-based HR processes. They estimate savings of Rs. 15 lakh per year through reduced printing and courier costs. Productivity and the user experience have also improved. Kotak plans for inorganic growth through acquisitions but this could introduce challenges like different pay structures, duplicated roles, and increased workforce diversity and mobility requirements that Oracle Cloud HCM will need to support at scale.

Potential of strong unions if acquisition is of strong regional banks(eg. If Kotak acquires say a South Indian Bank) 8.
