as well as the contents of this manual. GRG Banking will not bear any responsibilities for the
damage or injuries arising from the use of the ATM that is not in accordance with the notes and the
contents provided below.
Remove all the foreign articles inside before switching the power on,
and note if the ambient environment conforms to relevant
requirements.
The socket shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible. When the equipment is not in use for a long time, the plug
shall be pulled out to disconnect the power supply.
If one of the following phenomena occurs, please immediately stop operating the ATM.
1. The ATM produces smoke, strange smell, or unusual noises;
2. Electric leakage occurs;
3. Water enters the ATM (Water leakage occurs on top of the ATM or the ATM is
submerged by water);
4. Unstable power supply, voltage dip, or short interrupt occurs;
5. Cards are captured by the ATM frequently;
6. The ATM is not used for a long period (more than three months) after installation;
7. A contrived damage to the ATM;
8. The ATM is placed in an environment of lampblack, steam, high humidity or heavy dust;
9. The indoor operation temperature is too high (above 40℃) or too low (under 0℃);
When the phenomena described in clause 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 occur, call for a GRG Banking service
engineer to the site immediately for examination; when the phenomenon described in clause 6

Voltage between live and ground: 220V/110V (depending on area)
Voltage between ground and neutral: less than 3V (measure with a multimeter)
2. Communication requirements
Applications commonly run on TCP/IP, SDLC, X.25, and so on communication protocols; the
ATM can connect the network via LAN, dedicated line, dial-up, and so on modes. The customers
are expected to supply the cabling and external hardware, for example, network repeaters,
MODEM and communication cables. The following two cables are in common use:
Lead 1
Technical requirements:
1. The communication cable between the installation site of the ATM and the MODEM or
special network devices should not be more than15 meters.
2. Do not lay the cables in strong electromagnetic fields where air conditioners and motors
are fitted; the cables should also be as short as possible.
3. Connect lead 1 to the shielded lead of the communication cable.
3. Environmental specifications
The height of ground feet for H22V (configured with UL safe) is 0-90mm (0-3.54in.)
If the adjustment of ground feet is over-limit, the ATM will easily fall down, which
may lead to personal injury.

1) To keep the ambient temperature near the ATM constant in cold winter,
we should prevent the air inside and outside the wall from convecting.
It is recommended to fill the gap between the wall opening and the
ATM with heat insulation materials.
2) The dimensions of the wall opening given below are based on the
condition that the height of the indoor floor is same with that of the
outdoor ground. If the heights are different, you may need to take
measures according to the actual situation. It is recommended to take
the higher ground as the datum, and then to increase the height of lower
ground. For example: When the indoor ground is lower than the outdoor
ground, you can build a platform with bricks and cement (or make a
base which can bear the required weight with more than 10mm
thickness iron) indoors; whereas you may increase the height of user
operational area outdoors, to make the indoor ground which bears the
weight of the ATM keep approximately high with the outdoor ground of
user operational area.
Note:
a) Maximum wall thickness is ≤260mm(10.24in.).
b) If the ground feet need to be screwed into the safe, please refer to Appendix
D.
The height of ground feet, which is 90mm (3.54 in.), is taken into consideration in the following
figure.
Importance: The maximum wall thickness is 260 mm (10.24 in.)

installation position.
(2) Turn the main switch off before connecting the cable.
(3) The power cable is places in the accessories box. The communication cable should provided
by the customers. The commonly used communication cable is LAN.
(4) H22V has two external cable entrances. The default used entrance when leaving factory is on
the left (View from the backside). The entrance on the right is shielded by a cover. When
installing the ATM, if the maintenance area on the left is not convenient enough for operating
the cable, you can use the entrance on the right. The size and structure of the cable entrance
on the left is the same as the one on the right.

5. System test
Each module may have several testing items, and the operator can perform the testing according to
the menu.
If the ATM passes the test, successful information prompt will be displayed, this indicates all
hardware modules are in good condition.
If offline test fails, the ATM will display Error information prompt. By using the maintenance
mode (The menu: Error Query Hardware Error Code), service engineers or customer personnel
may find out failure causes and corresponding solutions.
(1) Replenish journal printer paper and receipt printer paper before test. Refer to DT-7000H22V
Series ATM Operation Manual for detailed installation procedures.
(2) For H22V, you should use diagnostic unit to enter maintenance mode to complete the module
test.
(3) In the testing program, the dispensing test should follow the rules and regulations about the
note cassette provided by local bank.
