TP-Link Training & Certification System User Manual

1. About TP-Link Training & Certification


TP-Link Training is committed to providing a whole series of training courses regarding Network
Products & Network Technologies for agencies and channel partners.
TP-Link Certification is committed to providing comprehensive, professional, and authoritative
network certifications for network products & network technologies.

1.1 TPNA Certification


TPNA Certification contains the TPNA SOHO (TP-Link Network Associate for SOHO) and TPNA SMB
(TP-Link Network Associate for SMB).
1.2 TPNP Certification
TPNP Certification contains the TPNP Routing & Switching (TP-Link Network Professional for SMB
Routing & Switching) and TPNP SMB Business Wi-Fi (TP-Link Network Professional for SMB
Business Wi-Fi).
Note: You need to pass the TPNA SMB Certification before you can apply for TPNP Training and
Certification.

2. Training & Certification Process

2.1 Register for Study


You can join the TP-Link Training & Certification by contacting the staff at TP-Link's subsidiary in
your country/region (TP-Link Staff, hereinafter), providing us with your name and email address.
The system administrator will register an account and send the account information to your email
address.
By the time you see this User Guide, you will certainly already have an account.
2.2 Online Learning

 After logging into the system with your account for the first time, click on your name in the
upper right corner of the page and change your password as soon as possible.
 You can go to Training Apply to apply for the certification project you want to take. To apply
for TPNP Certification, you must have passed the TPNA SMB certification.

 Then you can go to Online Course to take online courses and download related materials at
Learning Materials.

2.3 Schedule an Exam


You can contact the TP-Link staff to schedule an exam, and then the system administrator will
create the exam schedule for that time period, which you will find at the “Certification Exam” and
apply for the exam.

Please note that after you apply, the administrator will confirm your learning progress before
approving your application to ensure you complete your learning and avoid incorrect applications,
at which point the status will be “To Be Confirmed”. After confirmation, you will be ready to take
the exam. Before the exam, please prepare the environment as described in the Exam Environment
Test.
2.4 Take the Exam
 Log into the system to take the exam on time. Note that the time on the notification emails
and the website is in UTC+8 time zone. You can perform the time zone conversion through
some third-party websites.
 Please use Chromium-based browsers, such as Chrome, Edge, or some others. Firefox, Safari
and Internet Explorer are not supported.
 Before taking the exam, you need to install the webcam and allow the system to access. The
system uses camera and mouse behavior detection to invigilate, and the data will be stored
in our system server for no more than 6 months and not be shared with others.
 Keep your browser Full Screen during the exam and avoid switching to other windows as this
may be considered cheating and result in failure of the exam.
 Questions that have already been answered cannot be modified. If there are some problems
during the exam, such as network disconnection, you can refresh the page and continue to
take the exam.
2.5 Get the Certificate
After passing the exam, you will be able to check the exam result at “Exam Record”. Note that only
the records of passing the exam will be listed here.
After we issued you a certificate, you will receive the notification email, and you can download the
certificate at “Exam Record”.
If you failed the exam, you can contact the TP-Link staff to apply for a make-up exam and schedule
the time. Note that the make-up time should be two weeks after the last exam, and you’d better
go to Online Course to re-study.
3. Support
If you encounter problems when studying or taking the exam, you are welcome to contact the TP-
Link staff.
