STUDENTS OF ASSIST
INTRODUCTION
Self confidence is a feeling of trust in one’s abilities, qualities and judgement but at the same time
lack of confidence can have a negative impact on academic achievements, leading to a lack of
confidence. A recent study (AIJSSR, 2020) shows that the most current crisis in the educational system is
due to low self-confidence that leaded a number of students having lack of enough participation and
unsatisfactory progress after much time spends in the class.
As Norman & Hyland (2003) stated that confidence is a factor in learning which can have its effects
on students participation and progress. Self- confidence is a very necessary for a student to take risks
and engage in learning activities and those who have self-confidence they are assured of their abilities
and are setting goals for themselves and work hard to achieve their goals without worrying about the
outcomes (kanza,2016).
Nevertheless, it is very challenging to increase other peoples confidence because you have to
understand how they feel or what are their experiences. Although the impact of low self-confidence had
been studied in detail, insufficient attention has been paid to students experiences. The student may

this study to investigate ways to increase students' self-confidence,
