INTRODUCTION - SPEED CONTROL OF DC MOTOR
Precise control of motor speed is essential for achieving accuracy and consistency in many
applications.
By controlling the motor speed, the application can operate more efficiently.
Motor speed control can increase safety and save operating cost.

820 kΩ resistor was chosen to maintain a proper Vgs at different levels of potentiometer and to keep the input current approximately
zero.
470 Ω resistor was chosen to avoid the shorting of Gate and Source terminals at max speed.
100 KΩ POT was chosen to keep the current extremely low in that branch resulting near zero power loss in the resistors.
Variable terminal of POT was connected to Gate to vary the gate to source voltage by rotating the POT knob.
Motor was connected in between the source and drain terminal to create a dynamic speed control and avoid abrupt change in speed
while changing Vgs
