Furniture Design and Visualization

Furniture creation has been an art form for hundreds of years.


Historically, many furniture designers created pieces for the aristocracy.
Today, furniture makers design for the masses, creating dressers, beds,
sofas, and many other pieces for modern homes, apartments, offices,
and more.
This program aims to provide the participants with a wide and detailed
knowledge of the inspiring world of furniture design. From the History of
Furniture Design to the concepts of choosing materials, and giving them
the ability to draw and conceptualize three-dimensional objects.
This program will provide the participants as well with the skills needed
to start their own business, enter a new career and take part in a
furniture design and visualization competition.

Applicants must have a first degree from a recognized university


or institution of higher education in Applied Arts, Fine Arts
,engineering (Architecture – Civil) or provide documentation
indicating that they will earn such a first degree before enrolment
in the program.

420 Hour (learning and project ).

Blended between Self-paced, Synchronous Learning and


Guided Practices with a Project Based Focused Journey.

Profile 01: Furniture Designer


Study, research and plan various styles of furniture design.find ways to improve
furniture items already manufactured. stay informed about design trends and
developments. select suitable materials, which might include wood, metal, plastic
and textiles. Generate sample designs using computer-aided design (CAD), card
models, sketches or hard prototypes.

Profile 02: Furniture Visualizer


Visualizers bring ideas to life, taking plans, illustrations and other reference
materials and using these to produce photo-realistic 3D images of proposed
models.

Profile 03: Technical Office


Creating detailed sketches or drawings of furniture pieces. Creating
presentations, 3D renderings, and furniture layouts based on the needs. Pricing
and fixing costs, materials and manufacturing methods and techniques

Furniture Design and Visualization Track project will transform creative concepts
and directions into expressive 3D Furniture design and Visualization.
Students will Make a Design, CAD drawings, and high-resolution 3D rendered
images for a furniture Design brief. considering design rules, ergonomics,
materials properties, and cost.
