Communications QnA Cards

A project "war room" is a single location for a project team to collaborate. It houses project artifacts, records, schedules, and status reports to provide visibility and identity to the project team. A communications management plan outlines six major parts: 1) what information will be collected, 2) how it will be collected, 3) how and to whom it will be distributed, 4) when it will be communicated, 5) how to obtain information between communications, and 6) how the plan will be updated. Variance analysis compares actual results to planned results in terms of cost, schedule, scope, quality and risk to assess project performance. It helps the project team understand differences between planned and actual outcomes.
